Looks like my haul today. One of my locals had $2 a metre all clearance if U clear the bolt. Think I now have about 250 more metres of fabric than I had yesterday haha. So exciting. I could hardly sleep last night excited to go shop that sale 🩷🩵 I got some of the same stuff as U too
in danish the word for drugs and fabric is the same which is so true. my stash is very big, I have a tendency to buy fabric and leather and THEN figure out what to use them for.
I’m watching this and laughing because I totally understand the giddy omgggggg feeling when you hit the best fabric sale. I’m always sending my haul to my bestie like squeeeee! 😅 So fun! Thx for sharing the joy. 🎉
I’m the same! If I want to treat myself, my go-to is fabric. I am in my twilight years (ha,ha) and am a quilter. Even if I could make a quilt a day until the day I die I would still leave enough fabric to stock a shop. I am not interested in clothes, shoes , jewellery, make up etc. I just looooove fabric 🥰
Homeowner advice incoming! IF you do not plan to be in that home for 10-30 years, forever, whatever, I would NOT tear down your wall. This will significantly devalue your home. If you plan to stay for a few years only, sell and move on, then leave it as-is so that you can hold on to that equity and resell for the same as you bought, or even more. Just some thoughts! Reducing room numbers in a home will make a big difference in your resell value (At least it does here in the US)
Oh gosh taytay is my fave to shop whenever i go visit Philippines ❤ same as taylah collecting fabric is my happy pill than buying bags and shows. I brought so much fabric from Philippines since its super cheap and started collecting while making bows, scranchies and now have own fabric shop ☺️ now i have a massive fabric wall 😊
Great video, Taylah. ❤ I love the fabric haul; it is so much fun gathering supplies for our craft/art businesses. I love the pics of your full car. 😂😂 To help with static, go outside and stand on your lawn barefoot: grounding. 🦶🏻🦶🏻❤️
I always touched something metal ( example, a window frame) to remove the static when I was building my PC. - Not a fan of anything animal print myself. - and here is me getting excited when I see clearance material and $10 to $15 a metre at my local spotlight lol. Our one has a scrap bin too where you can get some crazy cheap remnants, but it’s mostly lace. :(
Its okay, us crocheters are yarn hoarders lol at least I am so I can relate xD. Plus, it makes such a pretty background in videos! And those floral fabrics are so gorgeous! ❤
In my craft shop they cut their boards into half ( down the middle ) in thickness then they wrap fabric on the bolt and they can 10 bolts to a shelf instead of only 5 bolts to shelf Hope this helps for space issues
My local spotty had a clearance sale too 50% off or $2 clear the bolt. They had lots of lovely gingham checks and thought of you. I bought knits for sewing clothes and some wattle muslin for baby wraps.
Well done to you Taylah ❤️ So many gorgeous fabrics. The soft black fabric with big flowers is one of my favourites 🙂 I am hopeless when I find Velvet on sale in Adelaide 😀 I just have to have super soft fabrics to play with ♥️ Just a thought ... Instead of moving the desk, why not make a curtain to cover the open end for the days you are filming. You can attach it with a removable adhesive Velcro on the underneath of the shelf and stitch to the fabric the other part. I made removable curtains for a car a while back. Great for when your camping and wanting some privacy. There are removable Velcro products that are designed to not damage the surface they are being stuck too. Thank you for showing us your awesome haul ♥️ (Spotlight is like my second home ... I swear they play "Big Spender" when they see me park my car 🤣 )
6:55 and 8:07 I think the blue floral fabric would be cute as like a bow or scarf that people can used to tie hair or bag, i have been seeing a lot of 5ish lately
I’d love to shop at your Spotlight (wherever that is) as you got an amazing haul! My Spotlight rarely has decent specials. I have a friend who lives in Maroochydore where they have unbelievable specials/clearances, but some of the staff are often rude and unhelpful - especially the Manager. I tell my friend that I would happily settle for rude and unhelpful staff as a trade-off for tables of fabric marked down to ridiculous prices🥴
The night sky fabric is giving *night court*. I would LOVE to see you put together little boxes of trending book inspired themes. Eg a box based on ACOTAR or Iron Flame etc. I think that could be so fun!
Girlll! Fabrics are my thing, too! Your stash is extensive. I used to feel guilty buying fabric because I liked it ,not knowing what I'd do with it ,as yet. Still have some for a decade now & it is in perfect condition. What I've realized now is that the 'cotton blend ' fabrics has a low percentage of cotton, so they are not as comfortable to wear and fades terribly.
Amazing haul. Loven all the prints. And Partner? Did you find someone who makes you happy? But we only need to know when you are ready. Keep up the awesome work.
I'm jealous. I really want a successful Scrunchie business just so I can go fabric collecting. And I have no idea which is my favourite, maybe the velvet because it's velvet. Please keep these haul/folding videos coming. If you do remove the wall, film that as well. Thank you for sharing, smiling and generally brightening my day. ❤
I think my fave is the green+purple rayon print of the rayon-y brown/orange/red floral. They look like Indian block print designs It's so interesting to hear what sells in person vs online
I am so glad to see someone so excited about fabric just like me! I am in the U . S. (Colorado) and it seems that scrunchies don't sell as well here. Have you heard that before? I do like the "tiger" type prints because they are good sellers for scrunchies and headbands!
Oh wow! So jealous!! I buy fabric for my 14 year old that does markets. I buy most of her fabric from thrift stores but do buy some new at the fabric store as well. I have never ever found fabric as cheap as you did!! I am like you and love the more retro style prints. You found some nice prints! Congrats!! Have fun organizing it all. I use a bookshelf just like yours as well (just one though!) - it helps so much to be able to see all the colours and prints. Happy sewing!!
I just love your videos as well as your accent! I love your famous wall of fabrics #goals do you have any fabric left from your very first bought fabric/s?? Ive always been curious since you said 10 years!
You are so cute showing off your fabrics!! 😊 Go girl! Lovely to see you so animated... I must laugh...just as you started talking about knocking the wall down, I said out loud..."you're going to have to knock that wall down" Wishing you great success with all the cute fabrics.
Yay! I’m first view. OMG … what a huge haul. It must have been sooooo much fun! Now to watch the entire video …. ❤ Can’t remember the last time I saw fabric for $1 per metre at my local Spotty. Love the make-up bags idea! I really like the retro fabrics earlier in the clip. They’re so much like the prints of the 60s-70s that I wonder if they’ve used original printing plates. I had floral sheets and curtains just like some of those prints when I was a teenager ❤
OMG !!...how did you get your hands on Jocelyn Proust???? Here in SA, most of Jocelyns fabrics have disappeared and I'm not lucky enough to get to the Spotty's near me for clearance . ..rural living has some disadvantages :(. Not having clearance on-line, makes it almost impossible to know what they ( Spotty) are clearing out. Great haul !!!!!!!
AWESOME FABRIC HAUL !! Love your taste in prints. When I was in high school I had a job at a small town fabric shop. I brought SO much. Watching what you're doing is very inspirational. Keep going ❤ Loving all of that cotton sateen.
I am a self confessed fabric whore. 😂. Don’t take the wall down in your house cause if you go to sell you will either have to put it back up and you have reduced the amount of bedrooms
I wish we had good fabric shops in England 😢
The way you react towards fabric is exactly the way I feel about yarn. Just can't get enough! Enjoy.
I love the lot !!!
What do you do with your scraps of fabric?
Looks like my haul today. One of my locals had $2 a metre all clearance if U clear the bolt. Think I now have about 250 more metres of fabric than I had yesterday haha. So exciting. I could hardly sleep last night excited to go shop that sale 🩷🩵

I’m glad someone else feels the same about fabric as me- who needs purses and clothes?!
I’m with you on fabric buying. I love fabric. I don’t care about shoes clothing bags etc.

If you're going to visit the Philippines I suggest going to Taytay Rizal where the most cheapest fabrics are being made. You will surely love them!
I’m only 2 minutes in and I’m so excited to watch the rest! Love a good fabric collection 😍
Great video, Taylah. ❤ I love the fabric haul; it is so much fun gathering supplies for our craft/art businesses. I love the pics of your full car. 😂😂 To help with static, go outside and stand on your lawn barefoot: grounding. 🦶🏻🦶🏻❤️

I loved that blue based floral you rolled onto a board ❤❤
Luv them all especially animal

My mom was a seamstress. This haul would make her so proud ; ) I’m excited for you and can’t wait to see what you make with all of it.
wish my local spotty had super sales. great shopping haul well done.

The canvas would make perfect farmers market bags!
Holy Cow~~!!! I never manage to catch the good stuff on that kind of special! Excellent splurge 😍😍😍😍😍
6:55 and 8:07 I think the blue floral fabric would be cute as like a bow or scarf that people can used to tie hair or bag, i have been seeing a lot of 5ish lately
Thanks! For all of your content, it keeps us interested in our own craft 🩷

❤❤❤ your aesthetic
My favourite is the magnolia fabric

Hi Taylah happy Friday night to you and I enjoy your channel and you are amazing supporter
I love the fabric haul videos. Always my favorites
That’s a lot of fabric! Fabric hauls are my fav videos😂. It’s fun when you buy instead of me spending on fabric🥰
💚 Congratulations!!! I know that feeling of an amazing fabric sale!!!! I love seeing you so excited & happy 💚
I think my fave is the green+purple rayon print of the rayon-y brown/orange/red floral. They look like Indian block print designs

Ahhh I understand the feeling! I have a huge smile just looking at your haul 😍 so exciting!!!

@kellyameson
I am finding the same thing in Virginia. I'm probably going to start using my fabric pieces for rag wreaths.

Amo tus videos, me relajan mucho ❤. Felicidades por la gran comprar!!
My fav is the retro daisy

That's awesome I said a thousand
AWESOME FABRIC HAUL !! Love your taste in prints. When I was in high school I had a job at a small town fabric shop. I brought SO much. Watching what you're doing is very inspirational. Keep going ❤
Loving all of that cotton sateen.
lol..... love your freak out on seeing the sale prices of the fabrics you bought... I do the same myself.
Good on you girl ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Have you ever thought about doing headbands?
Hi which spotlight did you go to please
Favourite fabric, I am a fabricaholic I cannot choose.
what store is this??? i need all the dets so I can do a haul myself!
The most I’ve ever dropped for fabric in one store on one day was $2300.
Hold the phone! You said “my partner”. What did I miss?? 😍 P.s. my favorite is the floral satin. Scrumptious ❤
I heard that too. So happy for Taylah!! :)
I caught that too 😅
I thought she named him too, “zac”???
@@lottieloowoo I also heard something like that or zap (???) and now taylah is thinking shoot, I just told it and didn't edit it out of the video 🤭
What you call cheese cloth we call gauze & double gauze.
The floral you called satin, looks like polished cotton.
Who doesn't like $1 a yd fabric!.
Que compra beautiful woow 👏👏👏👏👏💕💕💕💕💕🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸
She who dies with the most fabric wins…
❤❤
uauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Love the sound of fabric. Partner??
Its pronounced Mon Ter Ray. . Monterey. Just fyi. Lol. My birth State is California.
Nice carpet with sewing threads is a nightmare... don't do it! The threads! ugggghhhhhh
I am a self confessed fabric whore. 😂. Don’t take the wall down in your house cause if you go to sell you will either have to put it back up and you have reduced the amount of bedrooms
Did you say your partner? Ummmmmmm…..
Weird and sad
