The knocker’s jumpscares and overall presence are indeed unsettling, but when you get a good look at it, its skin isn’t that scary. (Though the herobrine-esque “in your face” jumpscare got me)
Yeah I won't disagree with you there J & G. The jumpscare was definitely the scariest part by far, the doors opening and the breathing sounds were unsettling for sure though

The first few times the Knocker opens and closes the door, it's actually creepy. But then it quickly becomes annoying.

@@Lord0wnage The mod owner should make these much less frequent. I think it'd be much better if the door opened rarely. And when it does, it's completely silent, so that it messes with the player's mind who'll think they forgot to close the door and make them increasingly more confused everytime it happens.

How to stop it from opening your doors: use trapdoors instead. It worked for me

The update is insane. In the previous version he was a lot more audible whenever he appeared in the world. Now it's unexpected and much more ominous, it's amazing

Bro your Knocker is so much more active than mine 😭 I turned him off after like, three hours in one world and the only thing he really did was stand ominously in a cave ONE time
That's strange, he spawned so much in like a one-hour timeframe for me lol. I think having a spawn set on a bed increases his chances but I'm speculating
Yeah I just started a new world w/ my modpack w/ him, and so far I've had him opening one of my doors and I may have seen him for a second, but not sure. I think his spawning is affected if the player has a 'base' [IE inclosed space w/ at least one door, maybe bed?] because in my previous world, my bed was out in the open.
