"An American was here." Such an important moment for Fluffy, and not to take away from it, but he'd be American regardless, just that the US has co-opted the word to mean them. In some places, it still means AMERICAN, not US AMERICAN, so even if he thought Fluffy was from Mexico, he'd still be right in calling him American.
No in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East if you're from USA you're American. It's that simple. They have had close ties with the US for decades they know what American means. The problem is that many places in America refuse to call immigrants American. Fluffy lives in the US. He's American but gets called Latino comic because he's from Mexico originally.
Gabriel has touched on this topic many times before.
I got to see Fluffy live twice. The second time was at Dodger Stadium(Home of the best team in baseball) when he made history.

To the point about being called a Latino comic... I'm Blackfeet. My mom was Blackfeet and my dad was ½ Cherokee and ½ Irish-Scots. I was raised on the rez in Montana. If you think of yourself as your heritage first and American second, that could lead others to think of you the same way. If you're of Greek background and that's how you think of yourself, Greek by blood and American by birthplace, you're separating yourself, first. Nothing wrong with being proud of your background; culture, heritage, religion, etc. So, you can be both. Just don't be surprised if others accept your self perception as fact.
Being American means replacing and removing your culture for white culture
It's not self perception. America just has a bad habit of not viewing immigrants as Americans.
@@AIHumanEquality I disagree. I've seen MANY immigrants that threw themselves into being American once they had their citizenship. I've never seen any of them stigmatized for that effort in any way. The communities that they joined, welcomed them, wholeheartedly. I'm sorry that you have observed different results.

While I was serving in the Navy Seabees, I spent 2 and a half months in Somalia. He ain't kidding about the heat. It got up to 130° during the daytime and dropped down to 40° at night. And it only rained one day the whole time I was there.

My first duty station was right across the bridge in Bahrain. Met some of the nicest people there as well as some of the wealthiest people I have ever seen. Pretty much every vehicle on the roads were all Mercedies Benz. Even the public buses and police vehicles were Mercedies.

Teddy Roosevelt was the first to object to the idea of "hyphenated Americans". Of course then he was talking more about the recent waves of immigration from the Italians or Irish, but I still try to hold to that ideal. So you can be American of Hispanic decent, or American of African decent, but you are primarily American. We seem to have regressed over the years since the 70' - 80's.

I think many people don't realize just how much money Saudi Arabia has. The royalty in Saudi Arabia makes the US treasury look like a bucket of money by comparison. You tell them some big number to do something for them when you're a known figure they have no issues paying it cause they have so much money.

@@Chris-rh9ejMexico's official name is Mexico in English, you're confusing that with the legal name which is different. There's no actual states in Mexico, the "states" are cities and districts. In Mexican Spanish it's written as México so yeah.
Saying Mexico is like the United States is as dumb as saying Canada is a Confederation of Provinces and Territories and that Canadians are actually American cause of North America. It's a dumb thing to say.
Fluffy is one of those comics like Bill Burr. He says things that could be construed as racist, but he says them without any hate or condemnation. Fluffy tells the story as it is, without putting anyone down. Plus, he has no problem making fun of himself along with making fun of the things he talks about. If you are offended by Fluffy, then there is something wrong with you not the joke.

I’ve been to Saudi Arabia 3 times and I have to say the first time I saw ladies completely covered it was quite strange. It does throw you off a bit. You don’t want to be rude and stare but it’s hard not to.
This is very old saudi has reformed and have different laws now definitely no more religious police and no segregation and the covering up for women is not mandatory but modest and appropriate dressing is required for both genders in public i will recommend some videos for you to watch to get a sense of the new and improved saudi arabia. Oh one more thing you can come to saudi arabia with an online instantly issued tourism visa check out all those travel vlogers visiting specially the newest videos

I like the video, I like the reactions of a lot of your videos but there's one thing I find kinda weird. You have a UA-cam plate for having more than 100k subs on your channel, you make videos reacting to videos on UA-cam but you won't subscribe to UA-cam Premium to watch videos without ads, that's kinda weird.
We watch the ads cuz that’s how creators make money so that is how we support other creators. The premium gives the creator a very small portion but the ads help the persons channel we are reacting to. Hope this gives you a better understanding. Thanks for the post
@@ROMsquad Sorry guys, yesturday I was easily annoyed by a bunch of things, I was projecting and I'm sorry. I used to put my cursor on the lower right corner of my screen in less than a second after an ad started so I could skip it right after the mandatory 5 seconds. I didn't like the fact I wasn't willing to watch more than 30 sec of an ad so the creator could have around 1.8 cents, it would've been only by luck I needed a snack or something to drink at the same time for it to happen so I usually clicked right after the mandatory 5sec. Since I pay for UA-cam Premium, clearly I don't want to see ads on the videos I watch and I think this way around 30% of my membership fee gets split among all the creators I watch instead of me skipping all the ads and the creator gets nothing. When I saw a creator put their cursor on the lower right corner in less than a second and then a cut, to me it only looked like the creator edited out the skip ad instead of the whole ad which would have looked better. So sorry about that, it was only my hatred of watching ads and projecting myself onto you guys while not having the best day. You guys have a nice day!

America is the USA by definition. They are called Americans. The concept that The Americas gets called America has been dead for awhile in the majority of places. It's an outdated term at this point. It's called The Americas or North America and South America. Those are the continents. When you say America most people around the world will think you mean The US.
