2 METHODS TO FIX "ERROR 7" IN TWRP [2023 METHOD]

- Hello and welcome to Craxoid and today I will show you How can you fix ERROR 7 problem while installing any ROM from custom recovery mode like TWRP, pitch black or any other custom recoveries.Basically, I will be showing two(2) methods to solve error 7 problem.
When you try to install any ROM from custom recovery then you might face an error like "ERROR 7" or " Updator Process end with ERROR 7". So after watching this full video you will be able to encounter this error 7 problem when you try to install any ROM from Custom Recovery Mode TWRP and you can fix this error and can easily install any ROM on your Phone.

Tip: One common error to make is to back outside of the folder and then make a zip of that folder which then contains the stuff inside of it, this will cause invalid zip file error, make sure to ctrl+a and then zip it

If anyone is working with macos, then use winzip app to create zip file, otherwise you'll get "Invaiid zip" error in twrp

if anyone else comes here due to same error 7 or 1 . try checking the steps tp install the rom you are using as i missed this step as i was loading newer android 13 on my nexus 5
How to increase /system partition and change partitions map:
- Flash the HH.R version of TWRP and launch it
- Open terminal (TWRP -> Advanced -> Terminal)
- Type hh_repart -m
- Wait until your phone reboots
- Install your rom

in TWRP go to advanced > terminal, then create /cache/recovery with
mkdir /cache/recovery
solved the problem for me

Yeah. It was fine at the beggining. It charged all the way. After finishing the instalation of rom. I saw 2 line " E:unknow error!". Then i try to reboot for checking if it is working. The thing is that the phone shut down. But not start again. I keep the power button pressed 20 minutes but it does not start.. Idk what happend. But i think i just killed my phone...

I was able to fix this error by going into Advanced and then scroll all the way to the bottom and execute "Merge snapshots"
i have tried both methods both aren't working for me when i try the 1st method it's getting stuck in the boot menu and when i try the second method its still shows error 7 pls help

My problem is not solved by this method It says package corrupt... Previously it was saying Error 7:The rom is not a miui based ROM...What should I do??

Hi! My phone is getting E2001: failed to update vendor image before every Error 7 when flashing any rom.
Any suggestions? I can't find anything on it
Also, I don't get the option to wipe a Vendor, which makes me think that partition is corrupt or simply nonexistent.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

But after fixing this
I tried to install it but again I faced some other error which says
"Mata-inf not found"

different phone have different asserted lines we should use our brain too well not every rom file have two asserted lines to delete

From whic extractor you tried? Try from using pc and locate files on desktop and try once again.
