👍👍Appreciate the video. To me no matter what you shoot you need to pattern your gun to find your maximum range and don’t shoot past it. For my shotgun 3’s work the best. I get more pellets on target than a 23/4 and with a 31/2 there’s not enough difference to justify the added recoil.But that’s just with my gun other peoples might be different.
One may also use these loads for home defense if you hit the face/neck area. That will cause 1.Poking out the eyeballs 2.Many perforations of the trachea 3.Severing of the Carotid Arteries on the sides of the neck. These hits lead to 1. Blindness 2. Extreme difficulty in breathing 3. Sudden massive blood loss to the brain. All these lead to a quick end of the intruder(s). I have seen some videos of this load on gel, meat and clay which shows an awful amount of power.
I don't mean to be graphic but I am a funeral director and embalmer by trade and honestly if these rounds hit a human head at home defense distances it usually explodes like a watermelon even with 2&3/4 inch shells. Birdshot lose velocity and power and distances quickly but at 15ft they hit like a ton of bricks! Thanks for watching my friend 🙂

Your story about your wife learning to shoot with you reminded me of the first time a female friend (now my wife) and I spent an afternoon together. I just knew she was a friend with a gun looking for some range time, so I brought her out to the range I used for some shooting. She brought her revolver (.357Mag) and I brought my rifle (.22LR) and we managed to impress each other!
I have a New England Handi Rifle/Shotgun Combo with a Action 12 Gauge barrel chambered in 3" mag. dumbest thing I ever did was use it to take a tom here in CO... years later and my arm still hurts as 3" mag was never supposed to be shot in a gun that light. :)

How can you honestly tell people to spend $10 per round or higher that's a complete lie you can use high brass number and they work perfectly fine you don't have to use this marked up crap
I have no idea where you are buying 3" shells for $10 a round lol. The entire box had a sticker price of $15. If you watched the video then you would know that I said you could use 2&3/4 inch shells. I honestly don't know if you are being serious with this comment or if you are just trolling?
They're better but not a necessity. I definitely like using them.
