Trial and error really helps with why didn't I just try this, and you find out a simple fix is the key. Hopefully you'll find the magic combination.
Thanks for sharing again. 👍 Happy subscriber 😊!
Thank you for the video Travis. Can’t wait to see how your molasses trial works on the bales. I might give it a try in some of our not so good hay. That’s a huge relief to know you have enough feed for the winter. Hope all is well
It is very nice that you are not short on feed. The hay doesn't look too bad.
Thanks for the video👍
🚜🚜🧑🌾🐄 Hello from Tennessee Travis, some nice looking hay, even the worst hay you have beats a snowball. Keep the videos coming, enjoy watching your and Ryans channels. 🚜🚜🧑🌾🐄🦝
I’ve soaked molasses into poor bales. Works pretty good in scrounging for feed years
Great stuff Travis, nice to see it all gathered, and good looking bales, considering the weather issues, a little treacle on some, it will be magic👌👍🙏🙂
We used to use liquid feed tanks to supplement our cattle when we had low quality hay. Maybe get some of that and put on the hay, it’s high in protein.
Ketchup on your fries...that was a good one.:D
The 330 gal totes full of Molasses with skid steer over the on end bale just a flip of the valve
I’ve taken molasses diluted with water and used a watering can to sprinkle it on in the feeder to get them to clean it up better
nice video travis. does the mollasess taste like mollasses. if it does beitt could make some good cookies
Travis dilute ur molasses so it soaks all the way through and
Thanks for the update Travis 👍
Thanks for the video
Thanks Travis. Too bad you can't somehow use your sprayer tank, a garden hose, and a home made metal probe to treat the bales yourself!
Already have an idea in mind if I decide I like it
good stuff
As a cow guy, there is no way the cows should not eat that, grass is feed and as long as they have mineral/protein they’ll be good👍
Hey Travis, As long as the Alfalfa hay is in the bail feeder the cows are not going to want any grass hay. Or at least that is my experaince. I thank the lord JESUS worrying about cow feed does not exist for you now. Yes I wish you had bails to sell but the lord will provide. I know you are not trying to get rich or you would not be farming. I pray everything goes good and the Kusters want for nothing! Take care, Take it Easy and TRUST JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do a video on the mole plow.
He probably did make video and maybe that is next video
Thanks for the video Travis
If the cows have a choice they are not going to eat the poorer quality feed
What’s your thoughts on just grinding the bales an mixing them as a feed ration
Added expense that I really don't need right now
If the mark of a decent bale is that it holds it's golden to light green color and round shape without collapse, then that stuff is a lot better than some of the junk I saw on my XC trip last fall. I saw some D shaped discolored bales in those 3 weeks crisscrossing the country. Hopefully that molasses gets the cows to munch their way through it.
Great to hear you are not short on feed for the cows, very curious to see how the molasses in the bales turn out, thanks for the update
Awesome video! Looks like plenty of feed an stuff. Never would of thought of putting molasses on the bails.
We have had good luck grinding it with better quality bales and mixing in wet distilers
I am really curious on how the molasses works. I did it many years ago and it worked for me but that was in the cold winters of Minnesota
That's expensive per bale.
@5:54 Which bailer gave you an attitude and only wrapped the center bit of the bail?
Both balers had issues. Had 2 or three feom each that just didn't wrap right. The next ones wrap fine without any help from me.
How do you like your 566? How has it treated y’all?
Will get the job done. Not built as heavy as the 569, which for the material I make, a heavy baler is more reliable
Thanks for the video.
