Honestly UA-camrs always say this about every game. But these games are literally their jobs and they play them that way. Most player's don't/can't do the same. So yeah if most of the community had accounts like yours I'd agree with you. But most people's accounts are not like this and that's why the game is going into the direction it is. Should they develop the game based on the thoughts of 1% of their playerbase or the majority?
Not trying to say that at all. Just think live service games need a grind. When this game launched it felt rewarding to grind. Now it's just use META and wait for new free stuff
He's not asking them to develop the whole game to the 1% but to at least add some type of difficulty or content and he's not wrong. All we want is something slightly challenging, they completely ruined all the hard mode bosses.
@ they ruined them because NO ONE was playing them except the small percent of try hards that ran in packs . for the average player having to be paired up with randos or not getting a match at all because NO ONE was fighting them, was just to difficult . BTW i am one of those try hards with around 900hrs but i do understand the situation .
@@truthistreason4292 no one playing them is hard cope I very rarely ever had trouble finding public bosses except for maybe at late at night. The fact or the matter is that people are too used to hand outs and easy content, people don't want to try to get better which is why they just copy paste builds without knowing why it's even built that way. Then the moment part of the community wants some type of content or difficulty people just yell "go play dark souls or something", you can have difficulty in different types of genres of games.
I like your TFD videos Clyde, but I think we just need more modes, content and other ways to coordinate as a Descendant community. Free stuff is designed to help casuals (with full-time jobs) catch up. I respect the desire for harder challenges/higher mountaintops, but let's not crap on newer players. I've been on TFD since July, but my newer friends love when we are destroying bosses in 2 minutes. They don't like bullet sponge bosses like Outriders or Destiny, but they are excited for new modes. We just need more party-coop-content that require more coordination & preparation. Just my 2 cents.
I want a dungeon game mode where there's a reason why characters like Ajax and Yujin exists. We're so powerful that either you play Ines/Bunny/Freyna or get left behind. There's no teamwork, no cooperation, no struggle, no drama. To this day, my fondest memory of this game is when I beat Pyromaniac in Normal mode on release day. Just for maybe a day, I want to strap the game directors to a chair and force them to play games like Left 4 Dead, Vermintide 2, or Darktide. Because these guys clearly have no idea how to make a compelling co-op experience. As a result everyone's just running solo and slowly but surely getting bored out of our skulls.
This comment has been my complaint for ages New boss it's easier on single player than coop, that's crazy for me. Yujin is useful on that fight, but the fight will take 4/5min if I bring a yujin. There's too many players with bad builds also because they get carried, or they don't adapt their build to a new boss.
yes .they need them to complement each other more ,example is valbys waters makes them 30% weaker to electricity so she compliments bunny Sharen and ines , but ines and bunny are so broken you need the purge content to make that complementary happen . we need more of that " how to make their abilities synergize " then working together will come naturally after that .
@@truthistreason4292 they need to have that same style of gameplay as genshin, the problem is most players don't even know valby makes enemies weaker to elect. Hell, they don't even know Enzo thingy on the floor buffs their clip. I was on the last boss and players still not walking over the Enzo thing
@@somfplease you don't get what I'm saying, not the fact that the boss it's harder It's harder to play in coop because people just die all the time, you spend time reviving, and people just die while reviving. If I bring a yujin my yujin makes less damage, and the match takes longer. I can do the boss 30-60sec on single player, but once I do coop, takes 4-5min if we survive. Unless you have a team that is extremely well prepared, coop is almost useless. And this a boss that you have to run at least 50 times. It's just bad game design, there should be incentives to playing coop.
I completly disagree with everything you said. 99% of people that play TFD are not youtubers/streamers that can just sit on their ass and grind TFD for 16 hours a day.
Yeah nobody is really saying that. He's saying the game has been watered down across the board and people who've stayed around since day one aren't having any real difficulty because new players "feel left out" of content they should be "left out" on. This is why you have new players thinking they're ready to play certain content and then they get fucked on. And the cycle repeats. "It's too hard because I'm not investing and progressing, I'm using bare minimal handouts." The problem is, this is supposed to be a looter-shooter with co-op, but it's losing that identity because the gooner non-gamer casual playerbase wants instant gratification. People want to play the new "harder" content without preparing for it and the devs keep catering to that for some reason, like they're afraid to establish content tiering. I started playing when the game launched and I have around 820 hours right now. I'm MR28 with 10 descendants fully built, 6 or 7 ultimate weapons fully built and as you'd assume, I do all content with relative ease. If you do the math, the game 206 days old, that's an average of 4h a day for me and my account is actually overkill to clear things. You really only need like 2 or 3 descendants and about 150-200h of gameplay with all the constant events to comfortably clear everything. IMO problem is people don't want to commit to the idea of logging on for 1-2h a day (for a whole season+) and slowly building up to that level. Instead of farming for catalyst materials in intercepts, and grinding devourer for a good annihilation set to then grind pyro for a good slayer set, they get carried up to DS or IW or Defiler and get stomped around saying the game is too hard. This game has actually never been hard. It has always however required commitment and dedication to investing time, like it's predecessors, Warframe, The Division, Destiny, etc.
Agreed. Grinders can play the hard way, and those with outside commitments (i.e. full-time jobs) can use metas to play the smart way*. More content is needed, not just a tier 3 difficulty.
He's up here talking about challenge yet he can't wait to make a video talking about killing bosses in as fast a time as possible. Also does he realize that this game has lost 90+% player base since launch? So they're doing the same thing as destiny. Making it more accessible for the casuals. Another problem that tfd has is that the game is a character/weapon grind. Once you've got your weapons/character you really have nothing to do in the game. And you're right, streamers like this are so damn annoying. They're literally PAID to sit there and grind 8 hours for those ad revs so no matter the state the game is in they're ok either way. Lastly he says ppl want the fu version lol. He does realize that it'll be ppl getting carried by streamers like him cuz it'll help with the views. So they'll still not learn anything. Same as destiny. Oh I'll carry you in trials. Ok, the player won't learn any pvp tactics but he'll get rewarded as if he has. Spare me the moralizing about way a game should be if there's always a loophole exploited by creators and streamers. But don't worry there'll be more conversation vids because ' somebody's gotta say smthn' 🙄
I kinda disagree with his take on why they let casuals take free stuff and literally every game does that for a reason. But I understand that it's an insult to the veteran players. I've been playing since the beta and I am just bored asf at this point in TFD. I've done all the content and all my ultimate weapons and descendants are all maxed out. I'm on MR25 and this game desperately needs new content and a solid endgame in the future. Or this game is gonna end up losing 80 or 90 percent of its player base in my opinion.
Sounds more like its your problem. Everyone doesnt have time to spend hours everyday grinding materials and gear. Just because you can do it while getting paid doesnt mean other can, people have jobs and events are a really easy way that help the casuals not fall behind. Really shitty to think that just because you had to suffer through that the other have to as well,
I love the events. They are what bring me back because it's way too grindy...I spent 2 to 3 hours yesterday trying to get the new decedent's materials but I didn't get anything!! So when the game offers event tokens that require missions to complete to get them, I feel like it's worth playing again
Not the way I meant anyone to take it. I get ppl need to work I ran a business then started to stream as well. I valued my time and made sure I grinded the right content. I used guides to help as well. I just want the game to last that's all
You're right about 1 thing... everyone can't grind this game and be the best. This game actually takes real grind and time to become what I am. If you are a casual player, dont be upset if nobody wants to run wit you. Tbh, if you do have a slave job and small budgets to work with, you should probably go play "Marvel Rivals." Fortunate for myself, I own and run my own business... so i can kinda do wat i want. Oh, not to mention, I opted out of having kids and decided to keep my "love juice" in a rubber! So I don't have any "real" responsibilities. 😊
I care more about whether or not a game is good than whether it's hard. Typically when people say "I want harder content" what they really mean is "I want FromSoftware content" and look it's great that you're into that kind of thing, challenge and adversity brings out strength and inner improvement this is true. But I don't want EVERY game to be like that. This is partially why I love Warframe so much, if you want difficulty then go do Steel Path. Everything else is entirely doable without bringing the player frustration and if there's one thing that will make me quit any game it's frustration because at that point I'm not having fun anymore, I just want this to be over. Challenge is fine, frustration is not.
@@MrEffectfilms nobody is asking for from soft difficulty... Why do people always assume this shit. People just want meaningful and challenging content. Yes for us people that would like something very difficult we'd be happy but we'd also be happy with something that doesn't die in 30sec-1min
@Keyshawn13 That's kinda what Warframe is about though, letting you be ludicrously powerful compared to the enemies you fight. The challenge doesn't come from the random goons you fight but from how you prepare, mods, weapons, arcanes, archon shards, these are all at your disposal to craft the perfect killing machine but if you don't know what you're doing you'll be leaving a LOT of power on the table and you may end up getting your ass kicked. Bosses also tend to be pretty challenging especially when fought solo. But fighting normal enemies is almost never challenging and it's not really supposed to be if you've prepared well.
@@MrEffectfilms yeah but comparing it to Warframe content, which it has vastly more and different, TFD only has like 2 bosses and just recently purge which hopefully gets harder. Also Warframe has an enormous advantage of mod variety compared to TFD. TFD has barely any variety to "change" your experience.
@@MrEffectfilms yeah that's what Clyde is talking about, want more content in the game instead of focusing on these nuances. But some people are stuck in the "your a content creator you can't have an opinion" mindset when they ever have criticism for a game.
I 'm impressed with how fast people clear this content, but some of us are having problems with getting past lvl 2 on void erosion purge in private operation. But im getting better but i don't see getting below 9 min..i love the team play but private mood so much. I really enjoy the game overall.
its because your not choosing the meta and or you not paying attention to the element you need to use .if it says toxic , use electricity on the elites . use colissi weakness as your chart . frost walker deals frost damage and weak to fire so on and so forth . valby , freyna , bunny , ines and viessa do good changing them up depending on the elements your up against .
Not trying to say you're bad or anything but a lot of people try to only do stuff their own way without"copying" the meta builds and stuff. But once you get stuck or hit a roadblock you people gotta learn how to make adjustments to whatever they're trying to complete. I have no problem with people playing how they want but sometimes people are too stubborn for their own good lol
In my opinion, TFD is a fun game, but if you're looking for super difficult prestige content with 0.001% drop rates and a market where you can sell those rare drops, unfortunately, that’s not the experience here. This game is more about buying skins, collecting things and easy, fast content with RNG rewards that may not always respect your time. Last but not least, fanservice, which, in my opinion, is what keeps the game development going.
Yeah and that fan service will only last so long, us gamers actually love this game and want the devs to put their passion and content into this. Selling revealing skins won't keep the game alive in the long run.
the issues is a lot of pro gamers come from cult games they've played for many years. they are less about quality and more about social aspect. game companies these days fall into the trap of listening to streamers who you can NEVER please and they break the game for everyone else. a recent success was when a company listened to regular gamers instead of streamers was stellar blade who most streamers said it was meh when it came out.
There's a yellow border around Freyna's outfit from the Store Quarentine Clearance that really needs to change. I immediately regretted buying it when I went to dye it and found that there's no way to dye it without that yellow border, which is pretty much impossible to go with any other color. So if any developer reads this it would be good to fix that. I'm sure it would be easy to bind it with one of the other parts that are changeable.
New players have it easier than Day 1 players, but they still don't have it easy enough. Nobody wants to invest hundreds of hours into doing old content to get gear in order to do the new seasonal gimmick. There's a balance between giving BiS handouts and providing an accelerated progression path to current content, and I think TFD does it well.
I don’t see why this game haves to die , I was 2 weeks out of the country with no form of entertainment, soon as I came back , the game felt magical once more , my honest opinion to everyone , either take a break from the game , or from gaming as a whole , you’ll feel the spark again
content creators need to be silent , thy killed enough game's . just look at destiny content creators killed it . bungie was that stupid to let them tell what thy like in it now destiny is dead and 400 woke def's lost there job .
We need boss fights with actual mechanics. Literally quadruple the health of the bosses and make it a raid with loot (once a week) for 8 players. Have them drop descendant specific components that give set bonuses that change how that descendant works. Have it also drop an item that can turn your reactor into a unique reactor, and you can pick what version of that reactor does. Maybe make it add a customizable 3 and 4 slot. The ceiling in this game is so fucking low and its a shame. I know the devs said they think of it as a collecting game, and thats fine. But That wont last. Another nexon game, vindictus, is also a collecting dressup type game with characters as sexualized as this one, but the end game involves doing huge raid bosses with 8 players. All the fights are cinematic, and extremely punishing. Limited health potion use, ect. TFD Has so much potential, I just hope the devs can tap into that vision.
The game is at a perfect place for me. Streamers want this game to be so hard and so full of crap. Like; play other games. You’re trying to make a career out of the game, like; first world problems fr fr
one thing they can do is allow a regular descendant evolve/fuse into its ultimate keeping all its modifications such as catalysts, even if it costs the exact same amount of its mats to do so would be nice.
I don't want TFD to become much harder. I'm happy to do everything mostly solo. I'm playing to relax not to sweat and get upset. Of course they could make very hard content just for those people who want to flex, but there shouldn't be the best items behind it.
not the best items but better drops or let me open 2 amorphs at the same time. Let me fight the boss. Right now i can one mag 70% of the bosses with Hailey.
Agree with the premise of your feedback. When you say, for example, defilier or colossus need a third difficulty: No. The game's problem #1 problem is balance which impacts everything, everything in game. This isn't a rant about ines, but she has effectively obsoleted most freyna play, bunny play, and definitely obsoleted everyone else. Try doing defiler on a blair or kyle in 10 seconds. Try doing lvl20 void erosions on ajax. I guarantee that if anyone can, they are the exception not the rule. Power creep has been allowed in this game since its launch with bunny and they did not adjust her at launch and have not provided a clear vision for the flow of the game. Instead, they keep buffing characters, releasing content FOR specific characters, and making the flavor of the week characters (currently Ines) brokenly OP. Balance should be the #1 priority, and sadly I would argue nerfs are needed. They are quicker to do, easier to impliment and dont require you to touch much of existing content or systems. Devs currently want to add content that would make these OP characters have a harder time, but that takes much more dev time than simply tuning numbers down. If Ines, freyna, bunny were more in line with ajax, blair, kyle, sharen, luna... Spec Ops become fun and interesting because they have a bit more challenge, 400% becomes more of a pinnacle activity instead of a sub 3 minute sprint, defiler becomes the pinnacle boss of the game where only a small % of people can beat her, lvl 20 void erosion becomes chase content. I know a lot of people will frown and instantly tune out to any supporting statements concerning nerfs... thats their problem. Nerf the descendants, specifically skills, and the game becomes easier to manage.
Maybe not play the game for 16hrs everyday. I disagree with any streamer/UA-camr that complains about lack of content. I left the game just after launcher because I didn’t have the time to grind. I came back in December and have been playing everyday I can now. I like what they have done. I don’t think farming should be only locked behind 1 specific Colossi or mission. I still have not got a good Slayer set. Games should be fun and a way to unwind.
Harder content for optimized builds is needed, I agree. But reactor farming is not in a good spot atm. And not everyone has 3 days to grind for a Lepic reactor man. They need to make the grind doable for casual players who have school and/or work. But yes I agree, harder content is needed. Enemies need to hit harder and have more hp, but the grind to make your characters stronger should not be more tedious
I work a normal job and still agree with all your points. I remember the 5/5 enduring legacy grind… everything is trivial now. Don’t get me wrong, I like character customization, but making my characters powerful and tackling challenging content with GOOD rewards is needed. I’m optimistic with the route they’re taking with the void erosion because I feel we’re going to need to min max multiple descendants with a variety of builds to optimize for the stage depending on the enemy. I’m with you on the community’s obsession with jiggle physics and “sexy outfits” though… folks are obsessed with their in game waifus on a creepy level. Let’s focus on the game content!
Saying everything is too easy while running Ines is crazy. Everything is easy for Miss Raya lol I've done all the purge erosion and killed Defiler countless times. Thats all because of Ines. I probably wouldnt even make it to tier 3 say for example i was running Viessa. Ines can clear rooms through walls without setting foot inside. Use another character and show us hpw easy tier 20 is, then ill take u seriously.
You're using the most powerful meta build for that mission and complaining that it's too easy. Get off the meta build and use something else. If the most powerful meta build struggle in this mission, people would start to complain that it's too hard and people who don't use meta build wouldn't stand a chance.
I just think overall level design and pacing needs improvement. I think making stats and builds easier to understand from a translation standpoint. The modules are somewhat murky to me sometimes and I think that can keep people from optimizing. That lack of optimization can make people think the game is harder than it is to get to endgame content when really they are just one switch or two away. So yea maybe a difficulty boost but players need to be able to understand the process to reach those higher difficulties easier.
Facts!! Nothing but facts. I have friends that don't play this because its like Warframe... But they have never played Warframe. I love the grind trying to get the perfect reactors and etc
Also bring back previous cosmetics, such as Viessa's hairstyle from battle pass 1, and Bunny's hairstyle called Medical Support. If the fact they were sold as limited or exclusive or whatever it was, just make a small change, like for instance remove the hat for that hairstyle. Having cosmetics in the skins part of the customize menu that are permenantly unavailable is no good. Many games rotate cosmetics and bring things back around. If there are any problems due to previous wording used, just solve them creatively with small differences.
How did we go from season 1 corruption missions "we heard you we will make the missions coop" to season 2 Erosion Purge "80% of the missions are solo" If the Erosion Purge is going to continue getting harder would be the best time to team up and use some of the Utility characters.
I agree with everything you said. I don't mind a grind. I love to play and learn a boss. I haven't killed defiler yet but it's a skill issue on my part. I know I will get it eventually. I always try to find something to grind whether it be the guns or I just need a better reactor for a build im doing.
Here is my two cents that needs to happen: 1) Bunny GETS A BIG NERF 2) Access to lv.160 and Transcendent Weapons 3) Increased drop rate for Transcendent Modules 4) More Green Vouchers gets dropped from Abyss Intercept Battles 5) The People Power Party remains in power in South Korea
Some things I agree with and others I differ. The game should be a lot more challenging, and content overall should be more engaging. I don't personally enjoy mob farm content and mindless mob grinding, but i do think some people simply do enjoy those activities. Content is the biggest issue with the game by far. However, to say things like cosmetics, jiggles, paint, and free stuff is a hinderance to the game is kinda a bad take. These teams usually are working independently from the game design anyway so really there's no reason as to not having both. Cosmetic changes just make money, and are easier to do so we see them more often, and are easily requestable. Thus, you'd THINK that it's getting in the way of game development when in reality it's progressing alongside with it just at different rates. I think as we reach an age where every game is a live service constantly updated product that we have SO many options to choose from, and if a game isn't going to respect your time or patronage then the customer will easily find someone else. Especially in the younger audience where they can get on games like Fortnite and get insta gratification rather than grinding for weeks to hopefully get some reactor drop, or a roll on your weapon. This game basically needs to be like Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter gives a reason to farm multiple different contents of the game. Reasons to gather, reasons to fight lower level monsters, and most importantly a VAST variety of things to fight at the end game. You can fight monsters for fun, gold, testing, and resources. TFD can learn from the end game layout that MH has. Especially since MHWi is coming soon next month. I expect the player base will dip for TFD. With that being said I go back to my original statement that free stuff/ events is not bad for the game considering that if a new casual player comes into the scene and they're playing a plethora of other games like MH, Marvel Rivals, Elden DLC etc. So from a market standpoint its good to entice players to come by and check up on the game with events even if its for a small time. It may lead to them wanting to hang around and farm more since even if you get a free gun you need 5 in total to max it out. All in all they need more content. The game is young, and the developers are eager. It's a Nexon product so I'm skeptical, but so far I think they're doing okay, and need to make some big moves going forward, and take risks to compete. Cheers.
Oh No! Don’t do to this relaxing experience what all the “try-hards” did to Destiny… This game needs work but is fun for the individual(s) who doesn’t stream for a living.
I've said this for a bit, but imagine a mode where you fight multiple Colossus. So one build won't cut it. Like Inferal Walker with Frost Walker, add in some hard mobs that spawn periodically. I just want more Team content. I do everything solo cause its easier, and sometimes i forget this game is multiplayer. I want a 4 or dare I say 6 player content that REQUIRES a team build to deal with all the enemies and colossus you fight.
Seems to be a reoccurring issue with every grind game that has content creators. This constant disconnect between what the CC's think is the right direction vs what the devs/publishers are seeing in their data, that ultimately influences their design choices the most. It's almost a running joke at this point. You look at videos about complaints about Destiny 2, TFD, Diablo 4...it's always "game needs to be harder". Without fail. & it's always reaffirmed by "people I talk to" or "people in my chat". Of which there is not a single content creator that exists that has so large an audience that it holds up against any games greater population...that almost always has a completely different evaluation. There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting more challenge. But challenge seekers &/or top 1%-ers do not & never will be the ones hard carrying any one games growth. I think Csgo might be the lone unicorn on that front where everyone is a sweat. People want to have fun. Above all else. Challenge seekers as well. The disconnect on that talking point is that challenge seekers exclusively see challenging gameplay as fun & little to nothing else. You guys just aren't the target audience with any of these games. I totally get that it sucks but that's the reality around a lot of these games right now. Even Poe2 flirted with trying to make it's game more approachable for people that JUST want to have fun. & that decision, did not move that needle at all. That game still largely pops off with sweats, while the rest after grinding it for 2 months came to realize that Diablo 4 actually DOES have a clear cut place where it can safely co exist with everything else. For the record I don't think you're wrong in any way for wanting the things that you want. They're all fair requests even if I personally don't agree with all of them. That being said I do think you are quite a bit off the mark with the prediction that the game is going to die if it doesn't get harder. Magnum seems to be doubling down on fun & that genuinely does seem to be the winning ticket here. Where others are looking at 1 bullshit metric that is steam player count & rushing to the conclusion that this game is dead...I'm simply using my eyes here looking at details no one else is. I go to Albion, it's always packed top to bottom. Every single player I look at is walking around in $50 or more in store cosmetics. Most of the content has zero issues with wait times in matchmaking. & just a few weeks back the devs were safely allowed to issue refunds amounting to over 1 million dollars & NO ONE got fired over it. I'm just saying bro. TFD is in a way healthier position than a lot of people realize.
I feel like they are just giving us free stuff while we grind on the side so we can build up our gear faster for future content that might be harder. The devs did mention that they were working on some more lore and harder content.
I have to agree that right now the game is in a delicate area. I keep seeing post about the game has lost such and such percentage of players as though its not normal for a game to lose player base in the first 6 months. However right now the biggest issue from my perspective is there is no need for build diversity no need to truly grind for min max gear no need to play with other people outside of you dont have the mats to craft what you need or upgrade what you already have. If they dont come up with some kind of content that actually challenges the people who have put in the time to learn the game, grind out the gear, and learn what it takes to take down certain bosses then yes the game is going to become stagnant and die. Unfortunately as you mentioned most are paying attention to cosmetics and giggle physics but that last what a day and then you get used to it. However content that makes you have to rethink your build rethink how you were originally playing that will make players keep coming back. when you cant just brute force your way through things and have to think. Maybe thats the issue though most players today dont want to have a brain teasing game.
to make it more difficult for streamers, just expand the options like they did with 400% dungeons. just have more options that add more zeros to the enemies health and do this for all content. instead of "normal, hard" on maps add like 5 options. it's just adding a zero to the end of health so development won't be expensive, it will mostly be UI.
I've said it before. The lack of proper tiering is holding this game back. Even if they continue giving handout's to new players they would still have to grind to progress if we had distinct levels of power. Normal, Hard, Very Hard modes dropping T1-T6 and every season we just shift the tiers and add levels to corrosion or more difficult abyss intercepts. It's possible to just keep increasing power of players this way, while also continually increased the difficulty of the content. It's a much more engaging system. Imagine being able to modify and socket component sets to make more than Slayer/Annihilation viable. Unironically the way WoW handles raid gear each major patch keeps progression feeling fresh. Additionally, just more interesting mechanics in fights. These devs keep relying on the same concepts for everything. Shields, Balls, tethers, circle timers, etc. Like they should use the Intercept mechanics more freely in other content. Grab the flames or freeze, shoot object into enemies, etc.
People just need some patience. Farming is more rewarding then getting free stuff. Having a bit drop after cursing out the game for a week is why I played it in the first place
Another thing I feel like the first descendant devs could put in their game to make it more appealing and more interesting is adding in new mission types, personally I feel like it would be super cool and really fun If they were to put in a survival type mission, where you just survive as long as you can, and of course enemies will just progressively get harder and harder, and it can really push your builds to the absolute limits I really hope for season 3. They at least think about doing this because I can say, with certainty, that this game has so much potential. It could possibly overthrow warframe. If they just start focusing on content we need and taking a little break from appealing skins and customizations
I'm curious to see if this happens to anyone besides me.... When fighting the defiler after I die when I spawn in, I can't move, but he hits me with a green beam and purple puddle/cloud... So when i'm finally able to move, i'm dead in a couple of seconds or if not, most of my health is already gone....
yeah I occasionally get that green attack bomb when spawn back in. most of the time you are immortal for a couple seconds though. sometimes I catch the tail end and it does damage.
I agree with you on everything and I appreciate you finally take out the gloves and say it like it is. Probably the only TFD CC with the balls to criticize the game and the devs. And I can empathize with your anger because I know you really enjoy the game, otherwise you wouldn’t play it as much as you do. The casuals and tourists don’t care about difficulty or challenge and as soon as the game flops they will move on to the next shiny new thing.
I want the raids they spoke about. And the melee weps which I've been asking for. And more power like overhaul the inversion reinforcement make it a skill tree type thing and let us pick more than 3 fkin perks. That would add alot of replay value over having to constantly grind things we don't care to grind cuss we have everything in the game. I agree with the bullshit about making it Christmas for new players. But the content is only easy for certain descendents other descendants are being reworked and still not as juicy as some of your go to for certain content. I understand they wanted people to have specific losdouts for specific content. But allowing for the freedom to become powerful with any char that's 1 thing warframe did well. Yah you can use all the frames but even just 1 frame at God tier build will run you through the whole game. I like feeling that kind of power with 1 char but the ability to make all of them that powerful is epic. And I agree give use more content that challenges us in different ways. Clans, raids and more larger harder group content would be nice.
after reading some comments let me say this. What you say is right, there is no point in giving more descendant or weapons, or even this new "weapon core unlocked" if we can't really use all that power. the most fun i have had is my Freyna "venom injection" that is really fragile but do a lot of damage on bosses. 1- But first i already have my Freyna at level 40 with 10 crystal + already have a Secret Garden R4 + Reactor with Colossus DMG (gold). that way is "easy" to say that i could come up with a build that just demolish bosses. 2- You're absolute right in 2 aspect 2.1- Trading is not a option right now and should not be priority. 2.2- Have a true "HARD" mode is definitely needed, that because you saying that we have 3 dificult and 6 of powercreep (imaginative number) are the problem of the game of right now, be able to enter the game "now" and get some free item are fine but not have anything after that is the real problem. Sure we can do 30 times of Defiler and get a cool skin, but what lies after that. 3- Talking bout the "Warframe / Destiny > RAIDS" i'm a veteran of both games, i have played Destiny 1 on ps3 and Warframe same since 2013 (just for context). I have played all the raids that both games had, since the start. Now let's "suppose" that something this game will benefit having, NO it'll not be of any good having a "RAID STYLE GAMEMODE". We could talk for hours about why having a raid in the First descendant would not be good, the quickly asnwer we don't have a trinity ( DPS > SUP > TANK ). And the devs have already spoken that they are not focused on making one (Trinity style). soo lets move on that topic. 4- Time and time again the Devs talk bout this game being "fast paced hack and slash action game" that a big name right here. Sure ok we now know the name but that translate to what, simple a game that you can turn-off you brain and just spam some skill or weapon ( be a ranged or melee ). 5- We now know the genre of the game and some problem it may have, sure it can't get any lower right?. Totaly wrong, this game have descendant(Luna,Yujin,Ajax,Kyle) that in they kits have some kind of "Buff or Debuff" for other player( with that in mind the game still want you to play SOLO ). 5.1- You're forced to play other descendant even if you love the design or abilitie kit. So why make a "hero" that is supposed to "Heal/Buff/Debuff" if i'm penalise for doing so, that is the first "critical error" that (The First Descendant) have. 5.2- The second error is punishing player for playing together, the life bar(HP) of the boss will scale the more players it have at the start of the level. So i'm playing "supp" on every single game out there, in this game i have to be a "dps" because i have 'quota' of damage i need to do, if not i'll penalise my team members because i'll "healing, buff" and will not be able do any damage for the said time. 6- How in the nine hells we want a Dungeon or Raid , or any content that is hard and need some thinking to be able to do, that its not some bullet sponge boss without any mecanic. If the game itself doesnt care enough to "create" a healer or a buffer. that could help us in this "supposed hard mode". That for me is the major problem, the Devs doens't seem to "care" enough to make Yujin or Luna a Truly support, the are focused on making the be able to speed-run / zooming the 400% dungeon, Why ?? why would i want my Yujin to clear 3k mobs in 10 minutes if a could be buffing some Freyna or Ines and be able to to 3k mobs in less than 5 minutes. That is a no-deal point, thinking that the "wrong/problem" is that the supposed healers and buffers need the AoE damage to be able to get at a "playable" state. - -Noite
I agree with most things you've said throughout the video, but one major thing i can say is the first descendant Devs are focusing too much on cosmetics and handouts as cool as they are, I personally feel like they need to start focusing on the lore, and as bad as playing through the main quest was, I will admit most of the story and Lore Did intrigue me, like I want to know more about the ironhearts. I want to know more about the vulgus and the colossi and their origins, so personally, that's something I would love to see in the near future for this game😊
They have a great core to the game the issue with hardder content is most of the public lobbies imo i would take away the max deaths and increase the health of bosses that way the weaker players die however the ones who know what to do dont have to worry about saving them to pass the missions
Been grinding for 3 days now to get at least somewhat perfect slayer set. 18 hours in and ONE Max MP (gold) and character xp gain (purp) best I've got so far...😂😂😂
I def agree with the game having harder content. With that we have to consider the reward for harder content. For example: I dont mind spending 20min in one lvl 20 erosion mission, but after 20 min I expect to have a pretty nice amount of VII cores. Atm, sometimes I dont get any lvl VII cores in lvl 20 erosion missions. Anyway, that just an example. I'm all for harder content as long as they reward you for your time. Fun can only take you so far before things become repetitive n you burn out. As far as reactor farming goes: So far I put over 25hrs of straight farming a tech/crit dmg reactor for Ines with no luck (no exaggeration). Same thing happened when I was farming for Hailey's reactor, had to give up on that. I have friends who gave up on reactor farming and I cant really blame them. Drop rates in TFD can be a big waste of time, if the Devs up the difficulty and keep drop rates and rewards the same, TFD will have an ongoing issue become even bigger than it already is. Ultimately, I hope the Devs scale things up with a proper balance. Anyway, thumbs up on your vid. You made some great points.
This is more of a fan service mobile game cosplaying as a AAA console title to me. Its too repetive and grindy, for absolutely No reason with No endgame. Every mode is pretty much the same, and the most requested update that was approved was jiggle physics. . At that point im convinced most of the remaining player base is still playing because they already swiped too much, or so they can goon.
So true and I agree! I work at normal job and I had time to grind and max all. Peoples demand for jiggle is dumb, its a combat game and most of the time you are watching your back lol. Devs need to be careful who to listen, either its gameplay improvement/more challange or the dumb jiggle graphics.
I said on reddit that it's absurd people are getting day 1, sub 3 min kills on Defiler with a bunny build you use for doing f*cking outposts and got downvoted to hell. Some guy replied to me saying 90% of players can't even break his shields. Damn right they can't. 90% of players are participation medal andys who log in, open the event page on another tab, collect handouts and then log out.
IDK, the way i like to play looter shooters is to nuke everything in the fastest time possible so i can get materials and loot faster. I started the whole looter shooter thing with Warframe way back when it came out and that game conditioned me i guess to like that playstyle where you have hordes of enemies rushing and you kill them in one to two hits, collect loot and move on. If i have to sit on a boss or in a mission for like 10-15 or more minutes just to get like 4 pieces of material im farming then that's not fun for me. I moved on from Warframe in recent times because they have increased the difficulty and made enemies more sponge-i. Im not into sweaty gameplay, that ain't for me. They need to either massively increase drop amounts of stuff or make stuff easier to kill so its faster to farm. That is not to say that the game couldn't do with more difficult content for those who want it, sure make that for them but give those of us who want fast farms instead alternatives to farm those materials and not just shove certain materials into just one game mode, there needs to be options because not everyone wants hard content, some of us just want to breeze through it with as least friction as possible. Also, a lot of people just don't have the time to keep maxing out builds just to be able to kill that one boss or do that new mission type. Guess people who have all the time in the world playing games don't get that. I personally wouldn't mind bosses take longer to kill if they would drop way more materials, having to kill the same boss for 100 times just to get enough materials for one item is not fun. So either increase the drop amount by a ton but also increase difficulty by a lot so we don't have to do hundreds of runs for just one item but still have a challenge or make bosses fall over so we can farm faster. Either way works for me. That said, i do agree that getting weapons and descendants and maxing them out is too easy now, and all of these events running now are to blame for some of that for sure. I would prefer if events just gave materials and nothing concrete, like you can now max out a weapon buy just getting it from the event store box, that's a problem. I played this game since day 1 and i remember the grind that we had back then, it was punishing at times but to me at least it was fun and it wasn't so hard to get that you had to spend months farming one item for instance, it had good balance. Still people complained and now we are where we are, almost everything is too easy to get. So i can see both sides of the argument. Its not all black and white, some stuff is way too easy now but some stuff, while not incredibly hard, is at a difficulty which more casual players can't do yet or just don't have time to do. For example, Death Stalker is still incredibly difficult to kill even once for a lot of people let alone farm it consistently, or the new void erosion where some people struggle to get past tier 2. There's all kinds of players, not everyone has maxed out builds and time to build them. Got to also keep in mind that not everyone watches builds on youtube or whatever, some just like to play on their own and learn the game on their own. On the other side, there are players who melt everything in seconds and more challenging content for them would certainly be appreciated. But it is what it is. Hopefully down the line we get updates that can be satisfying to both sides of the playerbase.
For me I’d really like if they added actual dungeons like 3 phase type of dungeon. Was kind of disappointed with the “massive “ dungeon they added this season
My issue as a newer player is not being sure what to do. I finished the campaign and I tried to do the second hard mode boss and got ripped apart. First hard mode boss was doable with a group but I dont know what i should be going after, what or where I should start to get stronger. Right now I'm just trying to get the mods for ultimate bunny that was in a build video but I dont know what guns I should be looking into other than thunder cage. Theres so much to do and I dont know where to start
Having played all of TFDs betas and the game since launch and hitting 4500 hours on it. Also having played warframe on 2 systems to LR4 ,D1,D2,division1/2 all at launch having put 10s of thousands of hours into those games. I can say that people as a whole want content they can grind and feel rewarded for. harder content is not always better. a large portion of people stray away from from software titles because they are to hard I feel like TFD needs to find its middle ground, the rewards for logging in and playing on events are great, don't stop them, but it needs a true end game activity that is both fun/challenging and has decent rewards for the time people put into it
Im all for harder content, but the problem is the people I pug with. (inb4 "youre prob the bad one" I have over 1k hours and id never go into a colossus fight unless im lvl 40 and fully catalyzed both weapon and character)
Lol, you're using ines, of course it's easy. Didn't you cry last time they made it hard to grind sharen parts? You literally made a long ass video crying. Chill, man.
Def didn't cry. Just stating grinding for a new part for Sharen in the same mission is bad content. I grind all the parts out even if the grind is ass lol
I feel ya brother. Gold, kuiper, mats cool but they need to stop giving hard to get weapons away for free. I can see their point in nerfing some content to the ground because they created bosses and dungeons that require communication with no good way to create groups that can talk to each other. I strongly believe that is a core reason I played difficult content in Destiny. You're not going to go into a day 1 raid or dungeon in there and no one is on mics. This game needs a legit LFG.
If they don't start adding New Ultimate Guy Characters that are Overpowered to begin with ASAP . I'm Done with this Wam Man Woke Weak Wack Wanker Hater 😅.
I agree with you they shouldn't have give free legendary weapon away instead some free core items they give was enough and free catalyst, energy activator cherry on top
The counter to that is, if you need the materials from something and it's going to take 100 hundred runs to do so, you naturally choose the quickest and easiest way possible. What makes this problem even worse in TFD, is that those first 100 runs were only to get enough material to craft one thing, but 1,000 of that thing are needed to craft something else. So, your cheese of the first 100 runs automatically turns into 10,000 runs or more and the stinky cheese is going to get the job done quicker again. No one in their right mind is going to nerf themselves by choice to "just have fun" in this game, especially when the crafting and material economy in TFD is absolutely horrid right now. However, I see the point as well of what the hell are we grinding this stuff for anyway? There's nothing in this game that can't be obliterated by a half-assed Bunny/Freyna/Ines build within 30sec - 2mins. So the solution is one of two things and the devs have already said many times that nerfs are not going to happen. That leaves us with no other option than to have difficulties that scale with the power creep, or else the game truly becomes press1 to win and dies because players died of boredom. Like it or not, the human wants to be challenged, even in a gooner game, because the tits and ass only go so far.
Oh and clyde the shaders and all that "dumb shit" is literally how warframe(lots of other games) survived. It created community and connection we fashion framed . The movement update launched the game forward . Bro it's not all about content the small things matter. That's an objective truth. Maybe bungie should care about those small things a lil more lie from soft and DE. P.s i do agree with some of your points just had to point that out brotha
@@Gsxrclydethat’s like saying “I know dieting is hard but once you lose weight it’ll be easier”. No shit. The point is getting a good build is incredibly boring. Let’s run the same mission 300 times to get a piece of gear that allows me to run that one same mission 300 more times. It’s boring.
I disagree with the event statement. I never would have tried the game if it wasn't for a friend telling me about the event and it giving you stuff to try. Games are meant for fun man. UA-cam has twisted that.
Honestly UA-camrs always say this about every game. But these games are literally their jobs and they play them that way. Most player's don't/can't do the same. So yeah if most of the community had accounts like yours I'd agree with you. But most people's accounts are not like this and that's why the game is going into the direction it is. Should they develop the game based on the thoughts of 1% of their playerbase or the majority?
too true and well said .
Def need more endgame
This comment has been my complaint for ages
New boss it's easier on single player than coop, that's crazy for me.
@@DmadPs the boss being harder on coop is not crazy since you do 4 times the damage. its the right way to do it.
@@somfplease you don't get what I'm saying, not the fact that the boss it's harder
It's harder to play in coop because people just die all the time, you spend time reviving, and people just die while reviving.
The fact that jiggle figures is the most requested is crazy
Lol.. an a guy just tried to give me dev lesson on fb just because I mentioned just that.
@@killaharliii4797 Yup this is annoying as heck. They're coming....But ppl ask too much.

@@dasiyaking9031 maybe this is the wrong game for you.
I completly disagree with everything you said. 99% of people that play TFD are not youtubers/streamers that can just sit on their ass and grind TFD for 16 hours a day.
I’m not a streamer or anything and I’ve got everything except frost watcher and mastery rank 27 and yes I’m unemployed but im also not a lazy pos😂
I don’t know what fantasy world you at, but I think for game that lost 96% of their players they absolutely need to do everything they can to survive
100% a streamer problem yeah
Not the way I meant anyone to take it. I get ppl need to work I ran a business then started to stream as well. I valued my time and made sure I grinded the right content. I used guides to help as well. I just want the game to last that's all
Agreed 👍
@Keyshawn13 That's true and I'm hoping that in time TFD improves and becomes overtime just like Warframe has.
This! IF you want a hard game go play Ninja Gaiden lol
The drop rates are fair, some people's luck are worse than others.
There are already next to no players. If the rest of you take a break there will be zero players
content creators need to be silent , thy killed enough game's . just look at destiny content creators killed it . bungie was that stupid to let them tell what thy like in it now destiny is dead and 400 woke def's lost there job .
Nice take
This game is identical to a mobile game. Eventually they’re going to add an “Auto” mode”
Enemies need to hit harder and have more hp, but the grind to make your characters stronger should not be more tedious
hit harder and more health brings more cheese . if you want them to hit harder take of all defence .their its fixed .
reactor farming is ass lol
W take
Totally agree. Content should take precedence over anything else. As far as difficulty goes the constant nerfs are aggravating.
Love this style of vids! Great points raised
Love your content, and we need people like you that have a voice for the community. The devs are listening. We just need time. Games a baby still
You're using the most powerful meta build for that mission and complaining that it's too easy. Get off the meta build and use something else. If the most powerful meta build struggle in this mission, people would start to complain that it's too hard and people who don't use meta build wouldn't stand a chance.
I have a suggestion, how about a mode where you play the whole map with 10 descendants and the map has multiple boss to take down.
Man woke up today and said "i am going to spit fax today and piss everyone off" lmao
Coudn't agree more with everything you said
How did we go from season 1 corruption missions "we heard you we will make the missions coop" to season 2 Erosion Purge "80% of the missions are solo"
If the Erosion Purge is going to continue getting harder would be the best time to team up and use some of the Utility characters.
Stops people getting carried.
@LloydRobinson who cares? I don't play mmos to play solo
@@LloydRobinson isn't the mastery rank requirement to stop people being carried?
@@tarkatta8470 i only started playing the game because it had a solo option. there is nothing else like it on the market. not interested in warframe.
@@somfplease OPTION? if it was an option Id choose coop
I agree with everything you said. I don't mind a grind. I love to play and learn a boss. I haven't killed defiler yet but it's a skill issue on my part. I know I will get it eventually. I always try to find something to grind whether it be the guns or I just need a better reactor for a build im doing.
You got that boss kill EZ
Here is my two cents that needs to happen:
1) Bunny GETS A BIG NERF
2) Access to lv.160 and Transcendent Weapons
3) Increased drop rate for Transcendent Modules
4) More Green Vouchers gets dropped from Abyss Intercept Battles
5) The People Power Party remains in power in South Korea
Elden Ring had the opposite effect lol. They didn't nerf the game, they nerfed the players making it too easy.
Cheers.
I agree
Oh No! Don’t do to this relaxing experience what all the “try-hards” did to Destiny… This game needs work but is fun for the individual(s) who doesn’t stream for a living.
great take i get it
The doors have already fallen off already.
They need a way to add survivability to force you not to glass cannon and make the bosses harder.
Thank you!
Only thing I want changed IS THAT THEY FIX THE GOD DAMN FRIENDS LIST BECAUSE I CAN'T ADD ANYONE. It's pissing me off
10:31 I agree, but the problem is that those 6 hours exist out of doing the SAME mission.
5:05 TRUE. need more stuff to do.
I remember after grinding for week to get a 5/5 EL and peeps where like WTF how the hell did you do that? I was like... go grind..
I feel like they are just giving us free stuff while we grind on the side so we can build up our gear faster for future content that might be harder. The devs did mention that they were working on some more lore and harder content.
hahaha you wish
@ as a new player that’s how i see it and for someone who works during the day and plays only two hours at night i find the free gifts helpful tho
Bring back hanging out with your buddies at an outpost. Amorphous are just handed out now smashing 400s.
Also I agree on making content more harder since it's a multiplayer game. If they make everything too easy people just go lone wolf
People just need some patience. Farming is more rewarding then getting free stuff. Having a bit drop after cursing out the game for a week is why I played it in the first place
Another thing I feel like the first descendant devs could put in their game to make it more appealing and more interesting is adding in new mission types, personally I feel like it would be super cool and really fun If they were to put in a survival type mission, where you just survive as long as you can, and of course enemies will just progressively get harder and harder, and it can really push your builds to the absolute limits
I really hope for season 3. They at least think about doing this because I can say, with certainty, that this game has so much potential. It could possibly overthrow warframe. If they just start focusing on content we need and taking a little break from appealing skins and customizations
I remember I was grinding for catalysts and got the perfect valbi reactor for killing defiler solo... imagine if I would have just bought catalysts...
I just want them to fix the random party when you go into a mission so its not 4 ult bunny/freyna/sharon
Is it really harder content you want or more engaging and fun content cause there is a difference.
2- You're absolute right in 2 aspect
2.1- Trading is not a option right now and should not be priority.

Only 6 hours for the Secret Garden Nano Tube? The last one I needed took over 50 hours... Fuck that Nano Tube lol
I want to know more about the vulgus and the colossi and their origins,
so personally, that's something I would love to see in the near future for this game😊
Yea we need more story and lore
3rd difficulty sounds good for better reward speed. As long as this old man can get there as well. Not everyone is a twitch click god.
Yea component grind sucks
Love your content, bro, but wouldn’t longer clear times make it more grindy?
grind is good if the loot is better
This is more of a fan service mobile game cosplaying as a AAA console title to me. Its too repetive and grindy, for absolutely No reason with No endgame. Every mode is pretty much the same, and the most requested update that was approved was jiggle physics. .
At that point im convinced most of the remaining player base is still playing because they already swiped too much, or so they can goon.
true
So true and I agree! I work at normal job and I had time to grind and max all. Peoples demand for jiggle is dumb, its a combat game and most of the time you are watching your back lol. Devs need to be careful who to listen, either its gameplay improvement/more challange or the dumb jiggle graphics.
I get you brother i will never forgive this game for me having to grind ultimate bunny code 46 times i killed that boss and they jus give her away

This recent update completely trashed Luna I'm so mad they said they fixed a bug it was not a bug!
Yea she needs some love
Defiler is so damn hard man i can't do it my valby destroys but doesn't seem to hurt that dude
Hopefully down the line we get updates that can be satisfying to both sides of the playerbase.
well said
AGREE!
We do need harder content to push build but it must be done right or the new player or returning wont even bother
We need more stroy content instead of daily missions and grinds
Having played all of TFDs betas and the game since launch and hitting 4500 hours on it. Also having played warframe on 2 systems to LR4 ,D1,D2,division1/2 all at launch having put 10s of thousands of hours into those games. I can say that people as a whole want content they can grind and feel rewarded for. harder content is not always better. a large portion of people stray away from from software titles because they are to hard I feel like TFD needs to find its middle ground, the rewards for logging in and playing on events are great, don't stop them, but it needs a true end game activity that is both fun/challenging and has decent rewards for the time people put into it
I definitely want the game to be harder and I agree
Im all for harder content, but the problem is the people I pug with.
(inb4 "youre prob the bad one" I have over 1k hours and id never go into a colossus fight unless im lvl 40 and fully catalyzed both weapon and character)
Lol, you're using ines, of course it's easy. Didn't you cry last time they made it hard to grind sharen parts? You literally made a long ass video crying. Chill, man.
Def didn't cry. Just stating grinding for a new part for Sharen in the same mission is bad content. I grind all the parts out even if the grind is ass lol
Not tryna be rude or anything, but I honestly forgot this game existed.
Bro I grinded executor, Greg, python for 3 days smh it was so crazy secret garden was the worst for me lmao
I agree with you they shouldn't have give free legendary weapon away instead some free core items they give was enough and free catalyst, energy activator cherry on top
I agree with everything
The player every devs "love". Cry about everything, yet play the game 24/7.
Why do you choose a build to melt in 10 seconds? If you want hard don't cheese . You have that choice .
You a fan of Jeff Dunham and Peanut? bc the point flew right over your head nnnneeeewwwwoooo
Efficiency
Need a challenge anyone, throw on Jayber or Yujin and have at it at Defiler or Void Erosion, Guarantee you it will challenge you 😂
Oh and clyde the shaders and all that "dumb shit" is literally how warframe(lots of other games) survived. It created community and connection we fashion framed . The movement update launched the game forward . Bro it's not all about content the small things matter. That's an objective truth. Maybe bungie should care about those small things a lil more lie from soft and DE. P.s i do agree with some of your points just had to point that out brotha
i'm 100% F2P, kinda gave up on this game when i ran out of Slots for descendants. i just can't do it, dismissing days of grinding !
Jiggle physics just seems like there's some lonely mfs out there. Dumb idea.
I do not want harder content. It’s plenty hard to regular casual players.
I get it. Once you get builds going it's pretty easy. Meet players in groups and grind the content
