Wow good job will
thanks
What a great job Will
thanks
Great job, lets everyone know the incredible amount of work required for larger hand made projects.
Some of the things I like to use when finishing hand hewn oak are abrasive brushes and soft wire wheels run with the grain direction. These help me get down into the low spots without cutting back the highs and really accentuate both the grain and the rays in the oak. They also cut back my orbital sanding time. Less time with the vibrating demon is always a blessing.
that is true so i got myself a good beam brush for that very thing
That looks awesome well done
thanks
Looking forward to seeing more! Excellent craftsmanship

I was quite amazed by you not using a sideaxe. Is there a specific reason to that?
Nice Video btw. ;)
i just like my broad axe and i have better feel and control with it thats all i have a hewing side axe i just dont use it
i had the broad axe made for me with a longer more angled edge for that reason
