About the show:
Marimayam is a sitcom aired on Mazhavil Manorama that depicts certain real public incidents that common people come across. This popular comedy show conveys a real picture of government offices in Kerala.
Marimayam uses humour and satire to tug at the red tape that entangles people in rules and regulation. The show highlights sleaze, incompetence and delay in government offices, public and private institutions. The series shows the common man and his woes as he runs from one office to the other in search of a solution to his problems. Sathyasheelan, Koya, Valsala, Mandodari and Syamala, all characters in the show, highlight how red tape often strangles the common man or ties him in knots.

very true ......many of us had faced this problem in real life ... I have taken a loan closure certificate from the (canara) bank, even then they send a notice , I had to run between villege office and bank several times. There is something called sibil which will still show this loan as unpaid when you go for a loan. they say that settling through adhalath will not guarantee sibil clearance.... I asked them then how can do it , they say that i have to pay the entire outstanding amt which was mentioned in the notice , when i calculated total amt, it comes more than double of the amount taken as loan.....even the nationalised banks are doing the same thing...its looting the common man..where as big corporate's loan amounting to cores are simply written off....there is no rule to question this wrong practice......

It is criminal negligence of bank
1. Not issuing Loan fully paid up receipt on full payment,
,2. Harassing customers further.
3. Failure to give a Loan book with clear Dues & payments statement to each customer. Taking customes for a ride will be counter productive . It will repel others from taking loans & bank's income will go "" phut".
