Dad of the year award. Teach your kids freedom, exploration, and self sufficiency.
I want to give major props to the skateboarding community. This fine young man here with his authenticity and his openness and his sweetness of spirit has surely been supported and nurtured by his fellow skateboarders, and it’s a beautiful thing to witness.
As a dad watching my own 23-year-old son skateboard his way from childhood into becoming a young man, I am extremely proud of him for his maturity, his level of awareness, how he cares about other people, how centered and grounded he is, and overall what a beautiful human being he is. And I can see those same qualities in this young man here.
As a parent you can only do so much for your child to instill good values and so on, and then you hope they continue learning to be “fully human“ on their own. The friends they choose to associate with is a significant factor, and the skateboarding community has been there for my son and obviously for this young guy as well. I’m very grateful for that. The world is a better place because of skateboarding!

Sweetie I lived in a campervan for two and a half years and I'm now 66 years old , so anyone can do it! I loved it , I hope to go back to it soon! You have the sweetest build and set up! It is totally amazing! The way you have your stove and sink concealed is a woman's dream! I hate clutter, the only thing I would add is some pink! Thank you for making this video, it really had me smiling, reminiscing and hoping! Be safe sweetie!
Vented windows are at the top of my list of priorities (along with the amenities already built in, like you said, in a conversion van).
My dream windows are the T-slide windows on the 90’s c-vans - the ones with the little screened vent windows at the bottom. Those vans are getting older & more miles on them so I was happy to discover that some of the newer models (2000’s) have the vented windows like yours .... and your screen idea is GENIUS!!! So sharp looking and sturdy! Bet you could make bigger ones to go on the push-out windows on the side & rear doors too! Maybe even the cab windows too if there was ever a need for maximum air flow!

He has a super cool and simple van. Ive thought about getting into van life for a while now. Ive been brain storming the kind of van to get and what I really need. His would be the ideal kinda van Id make. Others have all the fancy perks like full shower, full oven etc..his is simple and effective. However, I would have a compost toilet in mines just in case lol

Hey man! We're from WI too. We've been saving up to quit work and working on building a Dodge ram b250 van for the last year and finally I found a solution for bug proofing our popout windows!!! Thank you so so so much for your idea!

Awesome van conversion!!! I’m looking for a conversion van to makeover myself. I have family and friends in all parts of the country that I want to visit and spend time with. Of course visiting interesting places on the way is part of the plan as well. Glad you are doing this now while you are young when you get older it is far more difficult. I am a 67 yr old woman determined to do life my way but it’s difficult to convince family that I’m not crazy. I want to see some of this beautiful country before my time on this earth comes to a close. Follow your dreams now while you can before you have to many responsibilities, enjoy your life and your travels!!!

Nice rig! Look into reflectex window covers they really help keep the heat out and in when you need it. Just use a dark fabric and some spray glue to cover the panels they store away pretty easily and won't let light, heat or cold in like plain glass does.
