One rule adjustment: Once you place any of your pieces on the map you can no longer count range from the chasm. That is only for your first map placement. You now count range only from your own pieces.
First of all, great playthrough, it was fun to watch. I think Chris fell asleep at the end though, because in his turn beginning at around 1:42:05 he took 3 actions. And in the following turn, he kind of made up for it by forgetting to take points from doing his exploration. These points would actually have given him the 2nd last major artifact, and since Zee took another major artifact right after, this would have triggered the endgame. I have only tried this game with 4 players, and I think I would like to try it with only 3 as it seems to be a much smoother experience. (edit: I see now you guys became aware of the missing points)
Rules note: each player can only gain the reward from each water space once. So even if you build 2 buildings by the same lake, you're not supposed to get the reward twice. I supposed because the water rewards are more powerful.
In Rahdo's run-through he said the switch was for copying another player's card they were playing, also letting them put it into hibernation immediately. Seems like here they are playing with the switch only being an extra crystal, essentially, which is a lot less interesting. Was the copying ability overlooked or is it a variant?
Thanks so much for playing a heavier euro-game. So many of the games that you guys choose to play here are either too light for my tastes or just thematic games and I find myself just bored. I was captivated every minute of this video. I guess it doesn't hurt that so far, with only one play, Revive is my game of the year
Minuscule just means lowercase. Majuscule for uppercase. Small and large letters. Don't think there is a term for the line through O in Ø. It is not a perfect fit, but Ø sounds like "i" in girl.
Mike should have not received the last major artefact when he hibernated to end the game. It should have simply been taken off the board and not used for his end game scoring.
Player board states in the end looking similar and points so close tells me that this game won’t provide enough variability. You’d think they would end up in different places especially when they are new to the game. It’s an harmonized experience which I personally find terribly boring
Having played the game about fifteen times now, our first few games were quite tight, but as we have gotten to know the game and its tactics better we have both scored a lot more points and had greater variability in our end game scoring. So I would say that your fear is unfounded in this one.

I really like the names identifying which hands belong to whom. 👍🏻👍🏿👍🏼👍🏾
Das Hausen?
"Das Haus" in German!
And it's spoken exactly as House.

So you've played the game. When is the review coming? So excited to see what you think. I love this game.
When does this release in the US?
@7:48 Mike's Bill O'Reilly character is starting to manifest in places other than the intro. Too much method acting by Mike. LOL

As far as I understood Rahdo, he chose to play with a switch effect added further along the campaign. The campaign adds stuff as you go.

"Snowpiercer makes no sense." Thank you, Tom! How does everyone not realize this?

Are people really not able to know who is who without the nametags, just because the picture is flipped? I personally find the nametags anoying

A little spoiler warning would've been nice before ruining the campaign with an "I don't care"
