Hi Andy, Ive used ur make over Monday book and three hour long videos to improve my over all tableau design. While I can’t publish my work, I want personally thank you for all ur hard work.
Hi andy Thank you very much for all the postings! They are extremely helpful! i have a question regarding this topic can we use custom shapes for each quadrant instead of quadrant colour ?
Hi, it would be a great help if you provide a solution to my requirement. My client wants to input a particular date on tableau server and send that particular date to oracle data base and pass that date to a query and extract data in tableau
Since the quadrants already have names, use those in a calculated field and count the distinct customers. Something like If Quadrant = “Upper Left” then CountD(Customer ID) End
You help us to move from OK to Great .Thank you so much Andy for all the tutorials you so thoroughly produced over the years. Very much appreciated.

Sure! Change the mark type to Shape. Move the field that’s on color to the Shape shelf. All done!

V Varsha that has nothing to do with this video and I’m not here to be your support desk. Use the forums.
How to find how many customer ID's in each quadrant.
Since the quadrants already have names, use those in a calculated field and count the distinct customers. Something like
If Quadrant = “Upper Left”
then CountD(Customer ID)
End
Slick. I like it
nice!!!
Good use case
