- The last steps are easy, but it definitely comes together nicely. Love having the on/off switch in the sponsor plate. I have two body options for it, but in the end went with the Megalodon fire as my main one.

Hi, I’m just getting in the hobby, and I just purchased this same chassis and team associated rat trophy and my question is can I use the electrics out of my rat and put in this? The motor I don’t care about but the servo and transmitter and receiver can I use.. if not what you recommend for a budget servo and brushless motor
Looks Great! I've been tuning my smt10 and found I had to replace the front soft sway bar with the hard sway bar to reduce torque twist. Have you had this issue as well?
Awesome video!! Where can I find Son of a Digger and Megalodon Fire bodies? Is there other Monster Jam bodies available too? Just picked up an Axial Digger and would love to switch some bodies out for when I drive the truck with my son. Thanks!!
They are all custom. I had the Megalodon body 3d printed by Monster Parts and then got a wrap for it from Bari. Same with the fire son-uva digger wrap

How does this builders kit compare to the Freestyle RC offerings? Are they worth the extra cost over this?
They are very different. The SMT10 is pretty awesome for what you get at the low price. The Freestyle RC are just built to withstand a beating.

No. You have to buy a body. JConcepts and Pro-Line have a bunch available. Check their sites. They have a section for monster trucks
What are u using for a steering servo setup now? I had the stock setup and blew the guts outta it first battery..
I use EcoPower ones I pickup at Hobbytown for around $40

At 20:07, your front tires are on backwards !
One of them was glued on backwards....after that whole thing about making sure they were right. hahah
Had to heat it up and remove it, then glue it on right
@@CCxRC Hahaha....Sometimes things just don't happen like they're supposed to.
Your got it backwards, you always want thinner glue ,you want to lightly lift the bead and let it run all they way around the tire on both sides and your done ,it leaves it perfect with no mess ,thicker glue is impossible to do correctly and makes an ugly mess of your tires...
Its a fun build but what i learned real quickly about it is that its only a display truck its not an rc truck.
Once you build it, that's it. As soon as you turn it on, it blows brand new motors and transmissions and drive shafts. This thing isnt meant as rc its only display
