I was at a VV(that's Savers) in Canada and the no fitting room situation is annoying..but I tried on this 70's long dress and a woman also trying on dresses next to me in the mirror she was like "wow, that was made for you" I just love how nice people are at the thrift..I don't see people compliment each other in a normal clothing store.
You seem like THE sweetest person I hate that you have to apologize to your audience or that ppl have criticized you holding your mic. Let’s start a trend in 2024 where we apologize less for existing. 😘

For New Years, I like to watch the last sunset of the year and then watch the first sunrise of the new year, and it always fills me with so much inspiration and excitement for the year & memories & future sunrises to come. With your sleep schedule, this would be a realistic tradition to adopt, if you wanted one. I really recommend it!

As an OG Y2K person (meaning I was a teen in the Y2K era and had no other choice than wearing Y2K stuff), I wore the bell-shaped jeans you're looking for throughout my high school, my shoes couldn't be seen by anyone! I think they're difficult to thrift because the used ones became nasty and destroyed simply for the fact that they touched the ground all the time (I threw out mine because they were completely grated on the back due to the friction with sidewalks through the years, and they absorbed rainwater and dirt like crazy), so you'll have to rely on unsold remainders if you want the original stuff. Also, they were all super low waist, so maybe I can suggest a nice diy also appropriate for the timeframe reference: take a straight leg jean, cut open the lateral seams and insert a long triangle of fabric (if it's a contrasting color, it's even better) and sew it down. Maybe it will give you a hippie-ish look, but it will give you a nice pair of jeans, despite the fact that they are very impractical in real life.
Also: love the new hair, the accidental two-tone looks very good on you!
25:18 LOL! Once I was in a thrift store and another shopper came up to me and handed me a pair of earrings, saying, "These would look really good on you." Of course I bought them, but have I worn them...not that I can remember, but maybe 2024 will be the year to bust 'em out.

The best wide leg pants i owned back in the 90s was made by route 66. I wish i still had those jeans! Maybe that will help when your looking for a good wide leg/mid rise jean.

I had a hard time finding wide leg jeans I liked on me until I found the Wow Wide Leg at Old Navy, which are perfect. Maybe give those a shot and see if they work for you.

I LOVE the bangs on you Alexa. I’ve had bangs for a while and they really add so much to your hair. Even when the rest of the hair is un styled bangs make it look like you’ve put a lot more effort into your hair. Bangs also look make updos like ponytails, braids, hair ribbons etc look so cute. Would love to see a video where you try out different hairstyles with your bangs if that’s something you’d want to do cause I’m always looking for new hairstyle ideas for my own bangs.

I bought a Sisley blouse a couple of months ago, the price was 49 euro. A long wollen skirt would probably cost around 150 euro (in season). The plum rib and the plaid skirt were so cute, too!

8:03 I'm not a huge fan of galaxy print, kind of because I grew up with it first time around, and a lot of the time the print stretches and the white shows, making it cheap. BUT those jeans are low-key, really cute!
