As a 1.0 Player, I understand the tv mode hate from a functional game flow perspective with how it was on release, but provided it is one of the major things that makes Phaethon's identity (as the HDD device is exclusive to Phaethon and Scott Outpost as of yet, chapter 4 revealing that it was a work of Belle and Wise's mentor, etc), Chapter 4 as their test drive without TVs felt disjointed and incohesive without the HDD playing a part in the Hollow Navigation. I am not a complete fan of the in-combat style of exploration where it's just "zip from one location to another via conveniently placed fissure" despite the lack of logic and cohesion Hollows have, and the HDD really added that dimension of depth and chaos to the Hollows. I feel this aspect of the way Hollow Exploration felt is crucial to the feel and immersion of the game, and at the end of the day I gathered that the TV mode "support/disdain" camps are not extremes such as "keep it or remove it" discussion, plenty of people just want it improved and streamlined but to still have it there. Knowing that it's gonna be removed from the prior stories... I can't imagine how different parts of the Phaethon/Agent Stories will change within context, without the TV navigations. It feels a little hollow given how we've been presented with the story already and I really hope it's reimplemented at some point. Their current optimizations of the TV Navigation through Hollow Zero and Arpeggio Fault are felt and comparable to prior versions of the game. I've only felt the navigations getting faster, albeit Hollow Zero has a lot of events that you can really take your time with, and I don't think thats a bad thing for the specific case of "Hollow Zero is supposed to be a roguelike experience." The in-story explorations have their cutscenes with and without dialogue and those were clunky, but without the dedicated zoom-ins to certain dialogue cutscenes it solves the main grievance I've heard as to why TV mode was spoken out against.
I think the “grid” movement really holds it back; it’s slow and unresponsive. I hope they make it more like Bizzare Brigade (Rogue-like arcade game mode) because I was HOOKED when I first played it.
The ability to save a disc loadout for a character. Anomaly gauges on the big boss's health bars. When the boss spawns it is just the health bar but when you start to build an element a circle appears with the relevant symbol. The max you could have at a time is 4 (3 characters plus bangboo).
I wanna see more characters interacting with each other and the proxy. Similarly to how we can invite each agent out on a date, i wanna be able to invite the entire faction/group to an event and interact with them all together/ watch them interact with each other. I miss seeing some of the og factions hanging out and they have such good chemistry when they are together on screen, I want more of that.
TV mode should be slightly adjusted, but I wouldn't eliminate it completely. Character skins are a good suggestion without a doubt, but I can already sense that M word here, if you know what I mean. Having more A-Rank characters... I'm not sure what to think about that one. What I do know is that the Signal Search system could also use some balancing changes - either buffing our Polychrome income or maybe reducing the number of searches needed for S-rank signals to be guaranteed a drop. Something.
I cannot see this happening especially with the huge differences in character sizes. I mean Ben BiGGer already slow asf, a jump would be so insignificant on him you wouldn’t even notice it maybe
Increase the battery capacity or lower how much everything costs with batteries. Grinding is so annoying in this game because everything takes so many batteries.
- The TV event like arpeggio can be there or removed I'm all okay with it BUT, please put TV mode back to story mode, let us act as a proper proxy and drive the story 🤣. - Improve fast travel UI, it so hard to navigate and find the destination. My suggestion is using some kind of mini-map (like in Persona 5).
When it comes to implementing new features I think it's important to consider why it would be included and how it may further the game, rather than adding features to simply check a box. I personally view the addition of a jump button in this way, in a lot of games jumping is useful for traversal, in fighting games it's invaluable for certain combos, in some games it's useful for targeting airborne enemies. None of these things are a factor in zzz, and so a jump button wouldn't have any meaningful impact on how the game is played. As it is in zzz, every aspect of the combat has a meaningful impact on how we approach playing the game, whether it be stuns, anomalies, i-frames, etc. If there was a way to implement jumps in such a way that it had a meaningful impact on combat that'd be great, but that'd likely require a massive overhaul to the combat as a whole. Without that overhaul a jump button would just be a mildly interesting novelty. For A ranks, I do agree we need more, but adding too many too quickly would make it very difficult for anyone that's not a whale to get a decent number of dupes, or to even get their desired A rank at all. For TV mode, was never a big fan of it but I also feel like the hate was kinda overblown. As long as it's streamlined I think it's fine, and it does give additional opportunities for storytelling that's not just characters standing around with dialogue. If they're going to remove TV from the story entirely I'd want to see more comic style cut scenes to ensure variety. Also, skins and co-op would be awesome. I would love for aerial combat in this game, and I was actually hoping for a character that would make it a possibility. Something about air combos in game is just so cool to me.

1:21 I disagree. I am f2p and I am completely good that this game is "S-rank heavy". I was able to S-rank Shiyu and Hollow Zero after 1,5-2 months from release when I started playing. Present A-ranks can cover pretty much all beginner needs.
I would honestly love more combat options instead of just a jump button. Was thinking of something like a taunt from the Lighter story or a specialty skill
I do not think a jump button, at least in combat, is a good idea. Imagine in the rush of combat, trying to hit a jump button as well as your attack buttons
I feel like TV mode would be more tolerable if the division of tv mode to combat was switched to 80% overworld/combat and 20% tv mode. Phaethon could show their skills with fending off outside hackers or diagnosing tech issues. I totally stole this off of azrial vanity but it's not a bad solution considering all the optimizations they've done to the mode itself. (also jump button would be a bit weird but thats just my opinion)
So few of the things I want to be added in the game are: 1) More combat options and combos, (the jump button is a great idea) like Side/down-normal or Side/down-special attacks which can be input by pressing "D" (on keyboard or the corresponding button for the current action on other platforms, same goes for "S" to do down attacks)This will bring more combat variety to the game and make the combat different with your teams. 2) Adding more puzzles while exploring or doing missions might be good. HoYo add new puzzles on events quite often but if they bring some of them to normal exploration or hangouts it would be great. No need to make them long because we don't want to spend minutes to clear a puzzle but something small is well enough. 3)Increasing the character level cap and talent cap, because the game feels too easy to build a character. I'm not saying it is a bad thing but in some way it makes it really easy to complete and just throw away. Level 80 should do the work and probably level 16 to 20 for talents if you have a character on Cinema 6 (Same goes for W-Engines) I think these are great ways to make the game more enjoyable and full of content that you have to do. Of course some people would not like to grind all of it, but let's be fair... The game is easy.

the reason they don't have coop is because combat in zzz is client side and for co op they will need to change it to server side which might feel buggy to play for some people because of high ping. . The only thing i would like to see added is maybe a option to star a domain so its always at the start like we can do for character so that i won't need to scroll everytime i come to farm artifects .
I find it Sad That So Many New players Hate the TV mode i think thats what made ZZZ special and Unique. First of I Want an Endless Hollow zero With tv mode and the rewards would change weekly An tv mode with hollow zero endless works would Work for tv enjoyers and non enjoyers would feel balanced an hollow zero Endless mode however should be challenging then our regular Hollow zero there should be 5 stages instead of 3 so that it would give the idea that your fighting off for an bigger boss Now how would it work? Well I suggest Hollow zero Endless Mode would reset every week similiar to end game hollow zero content but it will be more larger and random sets and every week it gets generated by ai exploration would be random so that your not going to same direction for example your going to finish level 1 but in level 2 but the road is changed that’s what I want to see an hollow zero with more lore and more exploration similiar to endless tower main rewards should reset weekly but other rewards like Denny and other materials it should be there the more you do it it’s endless so yeah Another thing I want is co. I'd love more event weapons, and general W engines. Also, pulling CRAFTABLE W engines in gacha feels awful since I can already make them whenever I want. Ohh, being able to use one character from the profile of a friend would be nice. Allows one to try characters they don't have. Skins would be nice. I'd drop money for my favourite character skins on top of the monthly card and bp. Make it similar to genshin where one can get a skin every 3-4 months or something(since we get like 300 paid currency for purchasing a monthly card). Also, since the appearance of the 80 battery coffee, there's no actual use for the other coffees(60 with a double drop for one card..which is literally 80 battery worth of drops without the interknot exp for 20 battery since you're spending 60) unless they don't want to rank up as fast for some reason.. So why not repurpose coffee for something else?
I would preferred the pity guarantee of a s rank banner character to be %100, and if I pulled a s rank early that is not the banner character should not reset the pity. Same for w-engine banner. failing 50/50 multiples in a row would sucks and just quit the game for not getting banner character you want all because luck. Effort, sacrifice to skip to saved up, even money go to trash for being unlucky.
My Hot Takes: - I don't want a lot of more A-Ranks. A-Ranks are great account builders for new players getting into the game. The more diluted this cast is, the harder new players will have to catch up to ongoing players. Genshin Impact has a massive problem with its A-ranks (4 stars) 4 years into its life, and so far it seems ZZZ is on track to avoid this fate. - On Smack's point on A-ranks, a different take away: The Elemental system needs an overhaul. Not sure what the solution is here, but It does need fixing. - Probably my hottest take for the ZZZ community: Less fanservice on the characters. The amount of fanservice on these characters has actually caused a decent number of my friends to drop the game. And Burnice's skirt length was a major reason I didn't pull on her. I am not saying to not have any fanservice, I just would like the devs to tone it down.
i agree with this point, it's actually good that we do not have a giant pool of a-ranks looking at it from a beginner perspective, there may still be a lack of variety for now but it shouldn't get too big unless they would also change how to aquire said a-ranks, i also simply don't want to see chars with so much effort put into them to be always straight up weaker than the s-ranks which is just how they currently design those... it's really frustrating if you like one of them and they can't compete good enough as for the elemental system both here on this comment and the video i have to disagree, i am so happy that by default there is only resistances and weaknesses, there is ways around those and in the worst case it just makes a fight slightly more difficult but not impossible, unlike other games where you have fucking immunity or very specific mechanics that you can't solve without xy that not everyone has access to

the reason they don't have coop is because combat in zzz is client side and for co op they will need to change it to server side which might feel buggy to play for some people because of high ping.

The only thing i would like to see added is maybe a option to star a domain so its always at the start like we can do for character so that i won't need to scroll everytime i come to farm artifects .
I find it Sad That So Many New players Hate the TV mode i think thats what made ZZZ special and Unique. To say straight up no its annoying is saying the games identity is annoying which i hate from players. Make it optional or Improve it but don't listen to others and change what makes you special thats stupid with that is ZZZ one of Many gotchas again without identity or Uniqueness what a shame really.😢😢 now Pheaton is just some lore without core since you don't do their stuff anymore i hate new modern players who make everything for the worse such arrogance.
I want a better map like in Persona 5, and an improvement in the story at the beginning. It takes far too long at the start.

First of I Want an Endless Hollow zero With tv mode and the rewards would change weekly

Like it would aggravate them to attack you but you will dodge or parry them taunt button would work well within zzz considering doppelgänger jane doe does it as well if you afk too long she will taunt you with come on move so I believe taunt button is an must have but that’s what 2025 should need this is my opinion

I'd love more event weapons, and general W engines. Also, pulling CRAFTABLE W engines in gacha feels awful since I can already make them whenever I want.
Ohh, being able to use one character from the profile of a friend would be nice. Allows one to try characters they don't have.
Skins would be nice. I'd drop money for my favourite character skins on top of the monthly card and bp. Make it similar to genshin where one can get a skin every 3-4 months or something(since we get like 300 paid currency for purchasing a monthly card).
Also, since the appearance of the 80 battery coffee, there's no actual use for the other coffees(60 with a double drop for one card..which is literally 80 battery worth of drops without the interknot exp for 20 battery since you're spending 60) unless they don't want to rank up as fast for some reason.. So why not repurpose coffee for something else?
I would preferred the pity guarantee of a s rank banner character to be %100, and if I pulled a s rank early that is not the banner character should not reset the pity.
Same for w-engine banner.
failing 50/50 multiples in a row would sucks and just quit the game for not getting banner character you want all because luck.
Effort, sacrifice to skip to saved up, even money go to trash for being unlucky.

My Hot Takes:
- I don't want a lot of more A-Ranks. A-Ranks are great account builders for new players getting into the game. The more diluted this cast is, the harder new players will have to catch up to ongoing players. Genshin Impact has a massive problem with its A-ranks (4 stars) 4 years into its life, and so far it seems ZZZ is on track to avoid this fate.
- On Smack's point on A-ranks, a different take away: The Elemental system needs an overhaul. Not sure what the solution is here, but It does need fixing.
- Probably my hottest take for the ZZZ community: Less fanservice on the characters. The amount of fanservice on these characters has actually caused a decent number of my friends to drop the game. And Burnice's skirt length was a major reason I didn't pull on her. I am not saying to not have any fanservice, I just would like the devs to tone it down.
i agree with this point, it's actually good that we do not have a giant pool of a-ranks looking at it from a beginner perspective, there may still be a lack of variety for now but it shouldn't get too big unless they would also change how to aquire said a-ranks, i also simply don't want to see chars with so much effort put into them to be always straight up weaker than the s-ranks which is just how they currently design those... it's really frustrating if you like one of them and they can't compete good enough
as for the elemental system both here on this comment and the video i have to disagree, i am so happy that by default there is only resistances and weaknesses, there is ways around those and in the worst case it just makes a fight slightly more difficult but not impossible, unlike other games where you have fucking immunity or very specific mechanics that you can't solve without xy that not everyone has access to

I don't want to have to docTV minigame in some random event. I want the TVs in the story because that's what's supposed to make Phaethon special and without them, the main character is more of a side character than any of the actual side characters.

I disagree with you saying that skin makes a lot of money.Think about to sell a skin to player the player need own that character,if the player doesn’t own the character why would they buy the skin (they won’t).Hoyo would be selling to a fraction of a fraction of the total player base.

@@plvto1 This game might be one of the simplest game they have. But I experienced hell in genshin. The mechanics are good and fun I just don't want to take hoyo seriously anymore. Unless its a game breaking bug, they won't move a single mouse on what players want. Some of the features in this game is what other players want in their other games.
