Thanks Sarah for sharing your mock driving test experience with Roland. All the comments raised by Roland are honest, positive and can easily be turned around with calmness and regular practice. Take care and enjoy your driving experience, you will never regret it 😀
Dont worry sarah I'm the same i miss hear stuff and told my instructor he needs to word things abit differently lol.Just do your best and you will get there.
Female with ADHD here. I struggled with a manual car because of the gear changing. My mind went into panic mode everytime a corner would come because of mirrors, change gear, clutch and wnet not to and so on. I am learning automatic now and have been since July and my test is booked for December. I feel good about it, running comentary is still interjected with ADHDism like, 'turning right, check mirrors - aww cute dog, slow down, check mirrors again "dog you have a dog?" do turn, indicator off' Verbal instruction on the other hand 😩
It’s not easy!! But you can do it. Ultimately the examiner only cares about safety. So make sure you get real good at the important stuff like blind spots when reversing etc..and then just play safe! Sarah smashed it in the end and so will you! 🙌
@GetWheelDriving my instructor is great with it! I have a slight anxiety with obs, just because of the forgetfulness and then I have a mini heart attack trying to recall if I did them 😂 Sarah did fantastic and she should be proud!
I don't have ADHD but I am autistic and I had a lot of challenges when learning to drive, similar to those of ADHD. Would be happy to share my experiences further :)
