Glad you want to see more videos from us. However as we film all these ourselves, we only can do so when we're not busy with construction. Building homes to high quality standards is always our first priority. We hope to get some more filming done in the second half of this year, we want closure too! 😄
Why don’t wrap the house using building wrap?

Hi, shouldn't it put sarking/builder paper between the framing and brick veneer?
Hi Andrew, whilst brick is porous and will wet through when there's lots of rain, its not necessary in our homes as the excess water will run down the inside face of the brickwork into the drainage channels at the bottom. This water will eventually evaporate via the weep holes built into the brickwork. Placing sarking/builder paper behind the bricks may create issues as any excess mortar may stick to the sarking and this cannot be cleaned off from the inside, so that's another reason for not putting in those barriers.

Why use brick and not cement block if it's going to be stucco?
U guys brick out side the frame with out wrapping the frame first?? I can see frame and straight brick no wrap in between?
Hi mate, I'll just paste this comment I recently posted in rely to a similar question - "we don’t install sarking wrap to the walls as its not required in NSW, but the main reason we don’t is that wall sarking prevents proper inspection of the finished brickwork. Even using good, experienced bricklayers their work must be inspected. Cavities can be easily cleaned out without sarking, this is especially important to 1st floor. Also without sarking we can inspect all flashings and brick ties and make adjustments if required.
With sarking installed we cannot do a thorough inspection to ensure the cavity between the brickwork and the frames is clear of all debris and is properly bridged with the brick ties in the correct angle. Water leaks will occur without these inspections and adjustments. Hope this clears it up."
Why no tub stands for the mortar?
There should be sarking paper between the brick and the framework, i belive this is against the NCC

the finished brick work looks dirty as hell
It sure does! Its a worksite that's dusty when dry and muddy when wet, so the outside gets pressure washed a couple of times to clean all the muck off before the handover. Sometimes when there's a lot of dried mortar splatters the brickwork gets acid washed as well for that crisp new look : )
