This was a great tutorial! Thank you so much 👍🏻 I've made one with a lace trim around it.

I have some pink linen napkins that are huge and I think they will work nicely for this project! I didn't know that linen bread bags even existed until watching this video! I have started making my own breads and biscuits so I definitely want to make a bread bag. Very interesting to learn that linen is made from flax!!

I’m so happy to have found this tutorial! It’s excellent! Question: the striped end that you cut off and suggested saving for other projects! Could that not be used for the drawstring?

Sure, you can absolutely use it 👍

I love the tutorial! Would 100% cotton dish towels work just as well?

Nice! Cotton would work but linen has better keep-bread-fresh properties 😊 ~ Anja

I plan to thrift some linen fabric for this but I’m wondering would cotton fabric do? I have tons of cotton.

Would linen cotton blend work? It isn’t always easy or economical to find pure linen. Thanks and really appreciate your tutorials

What is everyone using for the rope or tie? I don’t see it listed and don’t want crochet.

You can just buy cord at a fabric store or online. Hope this helps ~ Anja

I used that flat soft cotton cord that they tie fat squares with. It was ideal.

A good tutorial but there is a simpler way if one is using a tea towel

Cotton doesnt work. It dries out my breads. 💚🌞
