You know, as much as Sora is the main character at the end of the day, I wouldn’t have minded it if KH2 was about an Amnesiac Roxas coming to terms with his past life as a organization member, realizing the true goal of said organization and “the cost” of people’s hearts/souls, and finally bringing that down with the help of his old friend, having changed sides because there’s no way in hell he’d be down with taking out his best friend regardless if what the end goal was.
Obviously it couldn't have happened this way due to Days coming out after 2, but it would have been so much better narratively if you played the entire game as Roxas and at the very end he finally gets the answers he's looking for and gets the choice to give up everything he's been through to recomplete a person he's never met, which he does because it "feels right"

Really does make you wonder why we haven't seen an "Online Kingdom Hearts" yet. I mean, even if we were to have gotten a multiplayer mode similar to the handheld games, it would be rather cool to have something to where you can play as various KH protags against waves of enemies or bosses within a similar standpoint. But I guess the lore heavy rhythm game took priority... Who knows though... Maybe next time...

Dragobane think about , in that point in time axel never had a keyblade. Axel rocks with his own keyblade but in context with the timeline in this scene it would be cool if roxas shared one of his keyblades with axel.
@@superdrifter-1773 he physically can't without Axel having a keyblade. Only reason why Xion could wield his in that one mission was because she was a keyblade wielder. Keyblades need other people with great strength (like Goofy for valor form) to support their summoning a second key without an outfit that can manage the powers of the individual (KH2 verses KH3). Only way for Axel to have Oblivion is using its keychain on his own keyblade

This is awesome! This should've been a legit gameplay! I like how Axel protects Roxas and takes a hit from Xemnas's saber.
It’s also interesting that Xemnas tries to destroy Lea with the saber in kingdom hearts 3 re:mind. (Don’t worry Lea is fine)
