A blogger on an a cappella site who was reviewing each ep during the original run was completely flipping out over my favorite bit, their second full break, which the blogger nailed by calling it a syncopated rest, something he had never heard before. Those full stops became a PTX trademark early in these Sing-Off shows, and remains one of my favorite things that they do.
Ninjario I think that's actually Avi doing the bass rumble beat. And, as Marco pointed out, he did it continuously and with the same rhythm through the whole song. Amazing!

Nobody says anything about Kevin’s sound effects at the beginning and also the gun! He and Avi really made this - Mitch and Kirstie harmonising. Scott was powerful (So was Mitch), but almost incidental... This was a super powerful rendition. I knew for sure that they were going to win the competition at this point because, as Shawn said: they are so powerful, the amount of sound that came out of just 5 voices, is amazing! It would have been cruel if they hadn’t won!
Woohoo! Loved your reactions to this performance. I'm from the "Motor City" (Detroit, Michigan), and we love our big engines, which is just how Avi and Kevin sounded the whole time. This is one of my favorites, but there are more great ones to come. Can't wait for the next reaction.

YEA!!!!!!! Been waiting for this one. I didn't watch it for a long time myself as I didn't think it would sound as AMAZING as they did it in A cappella and now One of my faves! And I know this might be hard to believe, but there are still 2 more performances (10 & 12) that we are ALL waiting for you to see as it just keeps getting better!
And to think back that all there performances were great and it's just that 4, 5, 10 and 12 are just unbelievably off the charts. Just so unique and untouchable.
Cassie the original is one of my all-time favorite songs, so I held off watching this as well. I didn't want to dislike what they did, and I didn't think they could do it as well as the original. I didn't want to think bad things about them. That was before I knew better! But you're not the only one that held off.

The next performance was done on the same episode as Born to be Wild. Poor Kirstin... two performancea while sick and she leads the next one too! Cant wait for your next reaction! I can't believe it. All those days of checking every two hours to see if you've reacted to "Born to Be Wild" yet, and then you drop it on the weekend when I'm offline. This was my first Sing-Off video and I watched it about 80 times before I could bear to move on. Five people just CAN'T do what they just did, can they? I'm so glad you really liked it. Because 12 is the end of the competition. The other two were extras and not very good. Might be fun for them to react to the actual announcement that they won. I don't think I've seen people react to it, and it's pretty intense
They HAVE to watch when PTX was crowned the champions! To stop before that would seem pointless. That episode, which is beyond the 12, is the best one, in my opinion. You're right, though, only a few reactors have reacted to when PTX actually won, which to me is like reading a book and then stopping at the final chapter.
Poor Kirstie may have wanted to sleep but she needed to get changed and sing the lead on Stuck on you. Same show. They were singing two songs a week at the end.
Well, if you want to keep it going, there are the group opening acts with all the groups. And then their return for holiday specials.....and the car comercial they did...(which it is rumoured where they got the idea in pitch perfect). There is always some hidden PTX performance somewhere. Another thing that strikes me is that both Kevin and Avi came from classical music backgrounds. I've seen a few videos of Avi with his a capella group pre-PTX, and they did mostly classical music. Kevin was classically trained on cello, although he did cello-boxing later on. Still, doing head-banging, butt-shaking rock must have been scary and challenging.
So excited to see all the rest of your reactions to the Sing Off. It only gets better. After you finish PTX in season 3 you can react to Home Free in season 4.

She sung in Tagalog (Filipino) and in Mandarin (Chinese) version. The judges may have different taste on music due to culture differences but to us she is a gem and she has the world to showcase her talent not only in Singer 2018. :)
