I want to buy the look DNA, I downloaded the demo, but I do not know how to install it. I am new to Davinci. Coming over from premiere. I am desperately trying to get up to speed. How do I add this to my resolve.
Yes, but you need one powergrade for Pre-Group, one for Clip, one for Post-Group. Would be a nice addition if you could save Pre & Post-Group in one Power node... but not possible at the moment.
@theqazman Hi, Wanted to know are you gonna update the Freelance Colorist Master Class in future with new features of version DVR 19 and a detailed workflow of Qazi's Toolkit?
I will not be updating freelance color master class. It has already gotten years of updates. And the detailed workflows are already available on my UA-cam channel. Just watched those videos and there are a lot more videos to come.
Because you might have titles, adjustments clips and all sorts of other fx or transitions on your timeline that you might not want to affect. This way you have better control over the specific clips that you decide to include in the group. Hope that helps! 😊
@@SyoTheProducer So I've been using the timeline for a while now and on the rare occasion I have graphics I've converted them back to davinci wide which takes them back to their normal color. I've been using groups too of course. Thanks for the info.
Salaam Alaikum, any chance you can do a video using your toolkit with shots outside? I film outdoors mainly and I think I’m doing good but I like the way you do things I want to compare
Sir, I regularly watch your video to learn something new and earn money to help my family.. But i have no enough money to buy your course, please upload free footage which you use in project...that's very helpful for me..
This is an awesome explanation of this pipeline. Incorporating this now. Thank you. BTW, Qazi, wondering if you can help with a stills question re onlines. What size tiffs files do you see on avg when you have stills in your spots? TY
I gotta say, the toolkit is really cool, but this example is not the best for what you are trying to show. For shot matching, we are seeing basically shots that are already matched, because is the same location and basically the same light all over. I know that the main idea comes across, as how to use the false color and stuff like that, but it could be a better example to have some match shots from different cameras from an interview or maybe some matching with interior and exterior of the same camera, so we can understand better. A while ago I made shot matching with Arri Alexa and Sony A7S and it wasn't that easy, especially in skin color and weird color shifts on shirts.
Appreciate the love about the toolkit. I have never worked on a high end project that was shot with 8 cameras, half 709 and half LOG. That's just something that happens when you're first starting out. I'm giving you a realistic example that applies today in the professional world. Keep learning brother. 💪🏽
@@theqazman wow, what an awfull response dude, sounds really arrogant. Anyway, I hope you can show more stuff of shot matching in the future with less cherry pick examples, cheers!
@@AdrianCespedes34 unfortunatelly I agree with your comment. A little arrogant for a super honest and humble question... So he thinks he is selling a product to people that is working on big productions... but he is not. At the same time, the examples are from high end productions. Not very coherent.
You are not a hidden gem because people do watch you, but you are certainly an underwatched gem.
Insane value here!
Thanks for that effort ❤

I think I am becoming a pro colorist 😅😅 cus I know everything but I enjoy watching you.. you give me hope
Quick question when do you drop the Qazi toolkit version 2.0 where you fix the bugs etc.
all the bugs have already been worked out. Get it.
Get mono nodes or contour by Cullen Kelly instead lol...

Is there a demo version of the Toolkit? I don't seem to find it in the link.

sorry what is "middle click" on a mac to apply balance nodes to all clips
I figured it out. Testing now

Download it and if you'll receive an email within an hour that'll take you thru the install process.
The structure of pre-clip-post-timeline can be saved as powergrade?
Yes, but you need one powergrade for Pre-Group, one for Clip, one for Post-Group. Would be a nice addition if you could save Pre & Post-Group in one Power node... but not possible at the moment.

hello sir my davicni resolve software not working timeline resolution memory showing me can you help me how to solv this problem
Why not do your conversion from log to Davinci and then Davinci to rec 709 at the timeline level?
Because you might have titles, adjustments clips and all sorts of other fx or transitions on your timeline that you might not want to affect. This way you have better control over the specific clips that you decide to include in the group. Hope that helps! 😊
