AGS update all the 625 shit and all the other named shit in the game to be upgradable to 725...nobody wants this 600, 625, 700, 725 nonsense...they want new modes, new dungeons, new seasons, new maps, new zones, new artifacts, new quests, new monsters, new weapons, new abilities, new professions, new recipes, new furniture, new raids WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
What I hate about gear scores is the amount of time and effort it requires to max out and then they move the bar... again, and again, and again, until you have a whole lot of useless stuff in the game. There needs to be a new system for MMO's, and sometimes they do create a new system and create even more useless stuff. Look at Lotro where you had to have specific stuff for specific raids and now no one does those things anymore. I feel Fat-Thor's pain.

So basically, they're making all the current endgame content irrelevant by forcing everyone to focus solely on the new island and raid to reach 725. At max level, what's the point of doing anything else if the rest of the content can't reward 725 gear? It feels like everything outside of the new PvP island and raid has been devalued.
From the hole game loop perspective it is not devalued. You still need to farm gear in Expeditions and so on to get to 700 and then get from there to 725. In the end all new players will have a decent grind in front of them, except the actual players, that tend to go where you already mentioned.

They should have made Aeternum free to play. Get some actual player base. Then hire people who can actually make cool cosmetics and push that harder. This stunt is not going to save the game.

Dont worry theres a gear score bug still in the game that scales up low gs to higher. So the best armor is essentially just be naked and only wear a good chest artifacts, jewelry and weapons.
So to clear up confusion the main difference between Gorgon and Gorgonite is that for Gorgonite you don't need 250 skill in a profession. That's why it costs way more resources.
Cursed Hoards are located just outside of the zone. There’s 3. Ran around at level 30 on the beta. Requires a key. But all gear is 700+ Took me a quick 20 minutes to sneak to a chest and then craft a key.

Hoping they add a important resource in ffa zone to CRAFT 725 maybe make coconuts a part of or a alternative to the new inductor. Make a weekly resource that can be dropped upon death would add a whole new level of intensity to this game that would be amazing, go into ffa zone either empty handed or with like 5 coconuts, always have the weekly raid to get a garenteed inductor craft

The new 725 crafting system is kind of confusing by adding tons of new ways really... I have Syncretic weapons so I cannot upgrade them anymore? EU region has 1000-3000 players at peak times for total x3 servers lol... How to find players to do any of these non-sense new activities etc?

Someone needs to get to work on Old School New World. Get us back to the golden era where we could upgrade gear from OPR chests with umbral shards so we don't have to grind the terribly boring PvE modes in order to compete against the jobless no lifers.

I'm perfectly fine with the timegated content. MMO players have shown repeatedly they'll blow their load in a few days, no lifing the game, then complain there isn't anything to do. WoW caught onto this years ago, making their story and content drops weekly to ensure players don't kill themselves finishing the game. Be more patient ya'll.
That’s only been out three years and is that all these gear score increases that’s just bad development. There’s absolutely no good reason why I should have to be upgrading or replacing all my gear every so often can’t think of any other way to keep character progression going to keep people alive, busy doing stuff then increasing gear score making them go out and farm new gear craft new gear, no wonder nobody plays this game

Bought on release and played for a couple years. I don't see any reason to come back. I grinded out full sets of new gear on 2 characters at least twice already. The 725 GS increase is a deal breaker for me, especially since there appears to be no ability to bump my current named gear pieces to 725. It was not a small time investment collecting and upgrading all of those. Plus the doubling down on time gating is just too much. Life is too short, I'll keep playing other games. I'll be curious to see how tolerant of the time gating the new console players will be.

I love NW but after the angry earth gear reset I lost all my dungeon gear and jus got back to a place where I have 1 BIS healer set with opal gems and 4 amulets with each protection that I use for M1 and M2 and and a second set for where id swap out the gems for M3s, and then a have a PVP set which i never use because there no PVP to do outpost rush is the worst PVP mode on any game I've ever played so If I cant upgrade my gear to 725 I'm done, There's no fucking way I'm starting again for 25GS increase it don't make sense.

Look like mistakes fixing. They gave a lot free BIS item in expansion. Now, they are want to fix it byt strong time gates.

Would you say your last tank video is still up to date for season 5? I recently got back into new world and have been loving it. I always was a tank main and am just curious if you would change anything from your last video.

It's going to take months of standing around doing nothing to gear up one build. There's no reason to do any of the content in the game except one flagged chest run a week and one raid? What the hell?

A little bit to expensive to upgrade the artifacts that we have upgrade before.
To much Grind and Hours for upgrade Artifacts again. Not that i want and the Money that a lot of good PvP-Companies have is not fair too 😢
Maximum each companie have an areas are 2, this is fair but not the thing at this moment 😢
Someone needs to get to work on Old School New World. Get us back to the golden era where we could upgrade gear from OPR chests with umbral shards so we don't have to grind the terribly boring PvE modes in order to compete against the jobless no lifers.
at some point they gotta stop tying attributes to gear score. Eventually you're just gonna have 500 points in everything

Timegated RNG from PvP or doing a raid that only 5% of the players can do, or chopping banana trees for weeks to afford crafting. Sounds like the same old New World.
I'm perfectly fine with the timegated content. MMO players have shown repeatedly they'll blow their load in a few days, no lifing the game, then complain there isn't anything to do. WoW caught onto this years ago, making their story and content drops weekly to ensure players don't kill themselves finishing the game. Be more patient ya'll.

That’s only been out three years and is that all these gear score increases that’s just bad development. There’s absolutely no good reason why I should have to be upgrading or replacing all my gear every so often can’t think of any other way to keep character progression going to keep people alive, busy doing stuff then increasing gear score making them go out and farm new gear craft new gear, no wonder nobody plays this game
I don't know how to feel about this. Frankly it is beyond insane the devs are still refusing to address the PC community. It's not a good look.

Good video, harsh outcome I don’t think as a PVE crafter that plays a lot of OPR this is good at all. In fact I thought they could never make it as bad as chest farming for gear increase RNG. It’s like I’m on a carousel with game direction.

Bought on release and played for a couple years. I don't see any reason to come back. I grinded out full sets of new gear on 2 characters at least twice already. The 725 GS increase is a deal breaker for me, especially since there appears to be no ability to bump my current named gear pieces to 725. It was not a small time investment collecting and upgrading all of those. Plus the doubling down on time gating is just too much. Life is too short, I'll keep playing other games. I'll be curious to see how tolerant of the time gating the new console players will be.
Timing gating is a standard across every mmo ever stop crying.

I love NW but after the angry earth gear reset I lost all my dungeon gear and jus got back to a place where I have 1 BIS healer set with opal gems and 4 amulets with each protection that I use for M1 and M2 and and a second set for where id swap out the gems for M3s, and then a have a PVP set which i never use because there no PVP to do outpost rush is the worst PVP mode on any game I've ever played so If I cant upgrade my gear to 725 I'm done, There's no fucking way I'm starting again for 25GS increase it don't make sense.
