I recently bought the speedy 25. Beautiful handbag however it has creases. I’m very disappointed and not happy.
Dec 2022 here and I just bought my first LV speedy B 30 DE online and it came that same way. My first thought was exactly that.. is this a return 🤔 I knew they came folded that way but it had the straps attached and created more creases from the strap under the bag. I thought they came in a smaller dust bag like I’ve seen on other videos inside of the bag 🤷🏻♀️. Still love the bag for sure though 💯
Good morning! I have been watching unboxing of the Speedy 25 Bandouliere nonstop in wait of my arrival. Yes, every one that I have watched the bag comes folded like that (flat as a pancake) BUT the straps should have their own dust bag and the lock and keys should be in a box in their own dust bag and also they should have sent you their magazine. So if I had to guess, you probably received a returned bag. Please let me know if you kept it or if you returned it. Very curious.
Even if you go to the store to purchase this bag it is folded.
That is how the pack speedy.. flattened. But, this might be a return product from someone. I bought a neo noe from the boutique once and it was a return. I found out after I got home because there were slight dents on the bottom of the bag. I returned the bag and they replaced it with a brand new bag where the straps were packed separately, bag is stuffed with bubble packs. For that price, I refuse to accept a return that has imperfections on it.
Is it normal that the gold hardware doesn’t match? The gold on the lock versus the zipper pull looks different. And, the gold on the strap and the d ring on the side look different. Or does it look the same in person?
The hardwares on the bag should be consistent and same. Lock and keys are separate and might be different slightly although it’s not common.
An UPDATE: the bag seems new as it smells brand new factory smell (my amateur analysis 🤗). However the lock seems to be oily and discoloured as shown on video. So I called customer service and took a picture and send to them. Apparently they will send new lock/key. We’ll see 😔
Mine was Made in France on the outer bottom side of the leather bandolier. And you are right! I noticed it too on mine.....oh well....😞
Camila Xo when they’re made in France it would say it on the outside but the USA ones just say LV Paris and the tag inside says made in USA
Is the hardware on the handle more shiny compare to the hardware on the side where the strap is hooked on??

It’s common they come flattened like that. Although the straps are not usually attached. As long as it’s pristine will you keep it?
I still have it and the folded part is still visible though. Not sure how long before it’ll disappear. It’s currently nicely shaped with airbags
My speedy B 25 damier ebene is my favourite LV bag. I have others I really love but as far as a staple LV bag I still love the speedy B. They come flat now but the lock is usually in a box & they give the mini dust bag for the lock. The strap is not on it either so that must have been a return.
Hi would you or anyone be able to tell me if they have code inside or not. When I get from the store they pack it the same way you received.
I bought one in the Louie Vuitton shop in my area there is no date code imprint inside the bag I just wondering if this is new from Louise Vuitton to stop imprint date code inside the bag for a reason?
I am unsure if I shall keep the bag or return as I can’t get enough info on internet most of reviewers mention date code.
If anyone know about this please share some experience and suggestion to me I would be appreciated your opinion

Date Codes usually are on the inside pocket or behind it or under the small flap.
If it’s the current version then it could be microchip as Louis Vuitton is removing visible date codes and microchip their items moving forward.
I would return or exchange this. Yes, the speedy do come flat like that, but the strap shouldn't be on bag already. Also, the lock and key should be inside their own little separate dust bag and you will be the one to attach the lock on. It shouldn't have been attached already.
I have a speedy 30 that I bought in the Louis Vuitton store. It does come in the small box and it is folded. The wrinkles will work itself out. I store mine folded as that’s what the SA recommended.

Maggy PL mine came in as apart, the strap, the keys and lock were still in the small paper box, I was happy with that. However, I wish the dust bag can be bigger to fit the speedy 25 b when it’s stuffed.... but apparently speedy is always “unfolded “ like that if buy from online, I heard

Yes, all speedys arrived squished like that,I had mine for 10 years. The only difference is the box color which was brown. I did have an issue though my lock never arrived with the bag, so I called them immediately after opening the bag and ask them where my lock was .They suggested places where the lock would be and I confirm that there was nothing.They apologize for the inconvenience and they sent me my lock. It arrived quickly.
Looks like a return! Not normal at all for the strap to be on or the lock not in a box. But they do come flat.

I think it’s random because one of my speedy 30 doesn’t and my alma bb doesn’t too. Lock and keys are in most Louis Vuitton bags so it’s quite a lot of them circulating around. I even have one inside a box instead of the tiny dust bag.
You should've received a little dust bag for the lock and key
I purchased mine last week, and I asked right away if it’s a return, my SA eyes got big and she checked right away, found out that the one that I got was delivered at the store a day before I purchased so it’s definitely not a return, was very pleased. I’m glad that pieces that are always out of stock are available at stores as of the moment.
I just picked up one in the store today. Straps were not put together and inside the bag along with the lock and key inside the little dust bag. Sorry for your experience. Just do a return and get a new one.
I recently ordered my speedy b 25 damier ebene online but picked it up in the store vs having it shipped to my home. I inspected the bag before I left the store. My bag was also flat and the strap was already attached. That made me ask the CA if my bag was a return. He assured me it wasn’t and that my bag came from the warehouse. Although my bag already had the strap on, the strap still had paper on the buckle and the strap was not fully put together yet. Also, my lock was still wrapped in paper and in a small brown box, so I believed him when he said it wasn’t a return. I also don’t agree with selling a returned bag when we spend so much on the product. If anything, they should sell the returned bag at a discount imo.

Just got mine the other day. The bag is packed exactly like yours. The lock is not put on the bag though.
I got my speedy in store and they store it like that. The key and strap shouldn’t be attached though. The wrinkles shake out with use.
i have a speed b 25 bando which i bought in store and it was also folded like that when they bring out for me to check. you dont have to be disappointed. its the way they store the speedy bags.
So the straps should be on it’s own and the locket was in it’s little bag mines was a fresh speedy cuz everything was in there packaged settings ❤ The speedy does come flat though lol 😂 I would have return it
the canvas comes folded like this. the escale is a different fabric which is why it’s not folded like this. it won’t have a line as long as your wear it and keep its shape
The speedy normally comes folded, but normally the lock comes in a small dustbag and the strap should be inside. Not attached.
I got mine this week too.It is the same way LV pack for me.I don’t care much about the packing,I am just happy I get my bag.
I bought 2 speedys about 10 years ago and that’s how they store the speedys... flatten down to save space I believe. I agree with you that the one you received might have been a return though because the strap and lock was already on it. The only thing I didn’t like about them being flatten is when you come to use it it still have the wrinkles for a while.

Yes, it's normal for speedys to be folded like that. But when i received mine the strap and lock were not attached to the bag. So maybe it was a return. Sorry you were dissapointed. :(
I purchased a Speedy 30 in March, and it was packed flat. I was also surprised, but my items were a little more neatly packaged. The lock hadn't been attached. I dont think the key was inside the actual bag. Mine was folded a little flatter, yet is wasn't wrinkly. Yours gives me the impression that it had been inflated before they shipped it to you.
I don’t like how they fold the bag like thsi either.
Quality is so bad these days…. Probably won’t buy LV anymore
i also think its not fair to sell the return item to another clients coz we all need to be pamper as a priority we pay so much for lv bag . i also recently bought neo noe pink but i feeel like what i got is the return from som1 too but i have to use her i coulndt exchange coz it was a covid 19 lockdown so my return's period is expired already so i think i might stop buying an lv bag for quite sometimes until i happen to walk in store and request for a bag upfront and check the quality by myself 😇 wish u be able to exchange for the new one .

That’s how they package the speedy but that dust bag is not the appropriate size to store it once you unfold it. The lock and straps should not be on the bag.
I bought my bag straight from the boutique and they forgot to give me my lock and key! I had to go back to the boutique the next morning to pick it up. My bag still has creases where it was folded (after 2-3 weeks) and it's kind of annoying me. Other than the creases it is a lovely bag though. Hoping that after more use the creases will go away or at least lighten up.
I have it for nearly 3 months now and it still has the creases......but then I rarely use it 😝

That’s how they are packaged ,although it’s odd that the strap is already attached it should have been inside the box in pieces to put together. And the lock is usually on the inside also , but it does come folded and there are wilnkles but they do come out. Beautiful purse too happy for you on getting it.
I purchased mine in 2018 speedy 30 and it came flat but the lock and key inside the purse, honestly I regret not getting the speedy b but still love it
Hey, The classic speedy comes in this way even when you buy it from store not just when you buy it online. They actually give you the bag with the box in this exact way. So don't worry, it's how the classic speedy is usually stored . Once you start using the bag, it will go back to it's normal shape , hope my comment was helpful 🙂

I just got the same bag the same size I purchased it from the store I wish they didn’t fold mine like that neither I have two other species this is the correct way of folding it the other two they did not fall like that but now the 25 I just bought two days ago has a crease in it and I’m so mad and I was so mad when I saw the little box they put it in I bought another never full two weeks ago and they put it in such a big box but also I don’t like that they been my handles also the same print
Usually they come flat, but the fact that lock and strap are already on I don’t like it. It looks like a return item to me.
Hey! The speedy bags in canvas usually does come in a flat box and is folded away like that :)
Even my purchase from the store came in this flat box! Sometimes they also attach the straps for you and the padlock as well. It just depends on the person how they perceive this (if they think it’s nice of LV to attach them on your behalf or you think they shouldn’t have done that).
It’s a great bag nonetheless!

I live in Australia. Purchase this item LV online store and received yesterday! It came in a same box but the strap and the lock was in the bag unattached. I have to send the bag back as one of the buckets had gold plate off (probably 2mmx2mm) and had a black metal showing. Couldn’t believe they missed out checking the bag properly before sending out! It’s $2250 here in Australia.
Demmm they didn’t even put ribbons to make it look more special. 🤦🏻♀️ To me Gucci makes their packaging very special, everything is well packed , ribbons, and all wrapped up. And you’ll definitely think it’s not a return lol
Usually the strap is rolled up inside a dust bag and nicely placed inside the bag & the lock is in a small box with keys & dust bag. The wrinkles are natural with wear it goes away. I think they were in a hurry to ship this out to you witch is a good thing. Enjoy I love my speedys !
Just got mine today and it was packed exactly the same way. Even the lack is like that. But sure what to do. I knew that it looked weird for a luxury package.
speedy b has always looked wrinkled like that wrinkles come out once you start using it more often. just check for any creases and straps for wrinkling, thats when you want to return the item.
My alma bb arrived the same.. also very disappointed that everything was already attached..
When I bought mine in the exact print it was packaged flat, but the strap was inside the bag and the lock and keys were in a little dust bag Inside the side pocket In the bag. The strap and lock should have not been on. You have every right to be disappointed.
Hi! My Speedy came in the same flat packaging compared to my limited edition Speedy which came like your Escale. The creases will come out in a few days. Disappointed I can certainly understand. Enjoy😊
Packing flat is unacceptable considering the price-what nerve LV has! I watch another channel called Bedo's Leatherworks of a guy who repairs/restores LV bags; he does beautiful work. He says a hairdryer helps get the wrinkles out; I'm not sure what temperature though because you wouldn't want to damage/crack your canvas/leather.

This is how I got mine from the store directly. It comes as flat. Mine had exact the same set up as yours, everything was hooked on the bag! So no worries! They don’t give you any insert to help keep the shape. Don’t worry about it!

If you order online I'm sure 100% rand new. It from the warehouse .
In the LV store I much check very careful because peoples try on alot and returns.😊 just my opinion

When I got my speedy 30 six years ago it came in a flat box as well and it was folded like that but more neatly and I bought it directly from the boutique at South Coast Plaza the one inside Bloomingdale’s but I agree with you they did not place it neatly for you or folded it correctly and the way it was placed inside the dust bag I would return it.

Hello. I believe LV stores the Speedys flat. I purchased both the 25 and 30 B's in-store and they brought it out flat. However my SA expanded it out and packaged both bags expanded out and included separate dust bags for the straps. Locks came in their dedicated dust bags. I don't think the flatten speedy is abnormal though. Btw, I love your collection.
