- This is my second remix and probably one of my favorite songs from the FF series.
Searching for Friends plays as the world map theme in the World of Ruin. Also, the small section that plays at the beginning is called Dark World.

+Bossben Cool another good place is in the underwater Magi kingdom by using Figaro castle to get to it

The first few hours were hoping you'd actually get to kill one with the majority of outcomes being game overs. After that it became a grind. I usually uncurse the Cursed Ring and then learn Ultima at the same time.
I know this is old buy theres also the desert by Maranda that has Cactuars
The first theme on the World of Ruin where you felt there was more than just hope..... :')
I love this theme, such a theme of camaraderie, strength, & hope

Absolutely beautiful. The contrast of the 2 songs... very well done. I am almost never a fan of video game remixes, but you got this one right.
Excellent mix that really captures the spirit of the original. Takes me back
I haven't even watched past 30 seconds yet, but whether the remix itself turns out good or bad, I've gotta say it's a good choice to open it with a bit of Dark World. One of the things that made Searching For Friends so amazing was the contrast of having just spent hours traveling across a world with that song playing.
This remix is severely lacking it's deserved number of likes.

@Socran Oh yes, the feeling of everyone's renewed hope really makes this song that much better. I mean I loved it before I heard it in game (I'm playing FFVI currently) but when it played for the first time I got goose bumps.

this music makes me think again about how they should remake the game to fit modern standards and include cutscenes that make you cry like a bitch :D
...that one weapons platform in this picture looks like Walpurgisnacht from Madoka Magica. Slightly off to the right from the center of the screen.

This sounds like something from zelda when watching a dramatic cut scene.
nice made through maybe it wasnt so smart to make the dark world part a little shorter i liked it but it seemed a little to long till i got what i klikked for i am not some kin dof hater and i am mostly not such a whiner too but it might gain you some views so...
Bass is too heavy & too frequent. But I love everything else.
no fretless bass. no listen.
Final Fantasy isn't far superior than Zelda. Zelda brought new ways of playing video games way before FF started to think about changing the turn based battle system into a more dynamic one. Maybe FF is better in terms of story (again, we can't say this for every FF) provided that they're RPGs and Zelda and adventure game.
