- Springboro 8th Grade Volleyball vs. Miamisburg played on September 16, 2014 at Miamisburg Jr. High. Springboro won the match 2-0 placing their record for the season at 8-0. The teams current winning streak stands at 28 matches.
I have been binge watching Volleyball videos for the past two days. I have volleyball tryouts coming up and I'm very nervous because I haven't played before. I just feel like I can't compete with the other girls

jcrawford 09 same trying out in a few weeks, I don’t have a volleyball but I’m getting one soon so I’ve been practicing with a beach ball which is technically used for volleyball lol. Still super nervous since I’ve never played real real volleyball but I was always good at volleyball during gym
How did it go
I like this team's sportsmanship. You see, my volleyball team yells at everybody because they make a simple mistake. For example, I just had a game on Thursday and one of my teammates yelled at me because I didn't get the ball, even though it was HER ball. That point made the other team win.
One girl on my team yells at us whenever anyone makes a mistake. She won’t say words, she just grunts. So during a scrimmage she called it in when it was going out so I hesitated and it hit me wrong, so she yelled at me so I yelled at her “Emma calm down!!! You are fine!” I don’t even play back row, I play outside hitter. Then when she made a mistake all she did was say “oops”

They could work on setting... Otherwise a great team. It's difficult to find a team that can play both in system, and scrappy. One thing about #4 though. Great OH, but she's not calling which I think is why the setting is a little iffy.
#1 is really good with being right on the ball and fully paying attention to it.
Their hits would be a lot better if they learned to snap their wrists, but overall their movement was pretty good

why do they not change sides what a set is over
Because so the other team that lost does not say "That side was shorter" or "They had more room to spike".They just change so there is no conflict between the teams. That what I know as a middle school volleyball player

Player 16 on the Long sleeved team has a really relaxed, yet good serve!
What's the point of the warmup drill if they almost never take a approach to hit?
Today, it was the final of our little tournament and the 6th graders and 4th and 5th beat us (grade 7). But we did a great team work

Molly Jazz4 my eighth grade school team went undefeated, and won our bump off tournament. But now I’m on a club team that sucks!!! Wish me luck for the rest of the season

This is grade 8? Damn half of my team (I’m captain) is 8th graders and they can barely bump. Lmaoo we came 2nd in districts anyways

Not even. They were actually 8th graders! Either way, they're a really solid team.

Great team, but the DS need to work on some footwork. Try not to swing so much. They need to move their foot to the ball not their arms. That’s mainly it! Tip. Teach the hitters new hits. My right sides are currently learning “D”!

Vee Kay may also be the flooring ? When my school played in one of the tournaments the gym had insane grip even for my floppy shoes

I'm pretty sure you can also buy indoor soccer shoes? I mean it's not recommended but the shoes have some nice grips and I think it's fine lol

My team hasn't lost a game yet and we are 8th grande and we even played a couple of c-squad teams. The other groups in my town are also undefeated
I don't understand why they start number 10 with the jump serve the games that I've seen her serve have been out why don't they start number 11 serving
In my opinion 2 is a great setter she really did well
