I took my 07 Versa in for a recall on air bags my ac WAS working when I dropped it off but when I picked it back up that same the ac wasn't working .I call the Dealership told them that they had done something to make the ac stop working the Manager call me and told me to bring the car back and he would have his Technician look at it. The next day the manager called me and told me that it was not nothing they had done that it was electrical problems that they could fix it but I would have to pay for it 😥 so I told the manager that I would have to talk to my husband First . So I Decided to Google what could make my ac go out on a 07 Nissan versa and BOOM there was your video and after watching your video I knew that they had to unhook the battery to change the airbags I called the manager back and told him that I would just pick the car up so I picked the car up and done what you said to do and OMG it worked!!! Wow. That did it. My car had been sitting and the battery was dead so i took it out and charged it put it back in an no a/c. Turned the knobs as directed and it works. Thanks

AAA replaced the battery and the air stopped working. This is what fixed it while we were figuring out how to get off work to take it to the shop. Thank you!

Oh my gosh! My Nissan dealer didn’t even know this and they were the ones who made the air go off when they worked on my car. I was about to take it back to get it “fixed”.

Freaking life saver. I changed battery out and AC switch went off. I've been sweating for days until now. Versa is so weird sometimes. My defrost and AC switches haven't worked in years but as long as AC switch stays on I'm good.

I have the same problem the button doesn't work but by turning it to defrost like you did the AC lite came back on and I was able to put it back to Vent position and it works fine. Thanks

RIGHT ON DUDE... this was an immediate fix. I had tried this before but the engine was running. When I did it with the engine off as soon as i started it up that little yellow light came on and I had cold air blowing in my Versa in this 100+ Texas heat. The reason why this works is because.....did you know that when you turn on your defrost the ac turns on without the light coming on. So there is a program conflict between the ac defrost switch and the regular ac switch. Simple reset 👌 saved my ass......
