@JeremiahDaniel1995 I started filing in 2009 when the VA finally admitted I had PTSD and I started seeing a VA Shrink ( The DAV insisted I filed) so I did, then I got 30% and I felt ( And my VA Doctor agreed) it should be more, so I filed a disagreement with the VA then I got 70% a few years later and again my VA Shrink " Encouraged" me to file a disagreement, so I did, A few more years passed and in 2018 I was awarded 100% P&T ( Which I had to find out exactly what that meant) and I still got screwed on the " Lump Sum" amount as I was only back paid from the last disagreement I filed, NOT for the entire claim like I was told I was supposed to be, BUT, Te way I feel is after 8 Years at 100% P&T The VA has never tried to screw with me or my claim anymore, so that is worth it in my book!
I filed mine on April 6 saw cand p examiner on 24th April 3 may its in preperation for notification I hope it turns out good Update already got decision 50% ptsd mood disorder and other things only took 30 days start to finish already got backpay after 2 days of being approved it was fast
That is amazingly fast. It is such a crap shoot. I have had several claims over the last couple of years, with the most recent (easiest and most well and recently documented) filed on Christmas Eve, with C&P in March. Still, no decision. It really just depends on the region and RO that gets your claim. Congratulations!
I have a problem in that I had applied for IU back in 2018, the RO denied it, failing to adjudicate fairly and objectively, so I appealed it, and the VABVA decided in my favor in November, but nothing has changed, because for some reason the RO has it with them and changed my claim status to pending all over again and is demanding I resubmit evidence and submit an initial IU application all over again for them to re-adjudicate what the VABVA already decided!
Me and my two daughters have been waiting for almost a year now for the VA to send out spouse and dependents monthly checks to us we only get ssd and we can't keep like this would you
I e lost all faith in the VA. Been to all my appointments and CAndP exams. Been waiting in Step 5 for months. Why so long VA when everything is in my record?
My higher level review is supposedly expedited mmmfiled apr 03....called by higher level reviewer July 18, c and p Aug 22nd, been ready for decision Aug 26th...sitting there stuck

That was lightning speed. It's either your evidence was over whelming or it was very weak.

CCK be honest with the vets and just tell thrm a decision takes between 5 days and 500 years, there see how easy that was? 😊
