Yipes doesn't understand the matchup. Ryan LV is forcing ChrisG to approach wit the Morigan meter gain assist. Chris can't sit back and spam fireballs that aren't even dealing chip damage if his opponent is going to get to 5 bars and swap in his morigan to spam fireballs back.
However, historically Morrigan and Virgil have a good matchup against Pheonix. He was saying it would have been better to lame him out and bet it all on either timing him out, which he almost did game 2, or letting him get Pheonix and sicking either Morrigan or Virgil on her. It's a legit strat and we even see RyanLV in Pheonix mirror matches let them get the bars and then do some soul drain tech to close it out. He had a solid take on the match up theoretically but RyanLV was too good.
