So the tall foundation is only available in creative mode, which sucks. It is not unlockable in survival from what I know. The tall foundations are a 6 stack of the 1st 4 foundations from what I can tell.
Yeah I myself have run into a couple glitches with my elevators too. This one has worked out all the kinks. So I hope it will still work through the patches. But if you run into any glitches, feel free to let me know.
@@3dboomerYT Built this in my survival world and was working well for a little bit. Unfortunately it seems like there's some structure loading issue if you're too far away. After going to the desert (pretty far from my original base), I came back to find that the elevator platform had come completely detached from the tower itself. Nothing was actually broken, it was if it had clipped through the two towers of foundations and blew away. This is not the first time something like this has happened, I had a similar issue trying to build a cart-and-track system up in the air. At some point the structure had unloaded and the cart just fell to the ground.
I used the bigger balloon and minimized the space between the two guide towers. The bigger balloon makes it much more stable and is cheaper. Great build!
For those that are following this build to the exact building parts, you need to be level 10 in dry valley to unlock the 6x2x1 Castle Thin Floor 01. Otherwise plan to use a different floor.
@owondrr9710 if you just want to level up real quick, I recommend doing the duplication glitch with a fully upgraded work bench. Just keep placing those down and level it up all the way. Your village level will go up really quick.
Thank you for mentioning that. I kept thinking the castle stuff unlocked in the snow biome. I have been in creative so much I am neglecting my world! Tomorrow I will be grinding for materials and building again.
I'm excited to build this one day. Looks like a great build. Unfortunately I'm not touching dynamic objects again until some updates come out. I've wasted so many materials to bugs with dynamic stuff. The best is when they just disappear after you get too far away from them and come back. Great video and build though.
I completely understand. I think I understand why that happens. Its because the game is thinking the dynamic object and the static object are in the same place at the same time. So it destroys the dynamic object/toy. Thats why there is a 1 stud space on all sides of the rails. I am so glad you enjoyed it and it will help you out one day. :)
You are welcome! I am glad it has helped you. I do suggest moving it a little bit away from the village because of the build limit and just incase someone is clumsy and breaks something. Don't want it to fall and break other builds.
@@3dboomerYT great point. The only thing that gave me trouble in survivor mode is not have the right dimensions for the the thin floor pieces that attach the lift to the rails. I guess I haven’t unlocked it yet. I had to use different sizes and I’m still testing the best way.

@@3dboomerYT one more thing, at the part where you put wheels on the bottom of the elevator platform, for me the game is showing red on the tires and that I can't place them. Do you have a answer to this?
Sorry for the delay. This could be your character standing in the way. Also sometimes the game does glitch and thinks there is an object too close to it.
Have to say this build will fall down with some time played cause of a bug in fortnite... all my tower literally fall down and was perfect builed (maybe i miss something like u said build only 60 high and i did more). Now i have all my town with the structure down and have to clean all, waste of time... but ye its a good idea if game is not broken (if u know if its my fault tell me pls and will do properly)
I would love to help. My tower is still standing and operational. I just tested it (in survival). I made sure to build it outside of my village space. I don't know if that is what the difference between a tower breaking and one that doesn't break, but some people have mentioned when they build it within their village build area, their tower has broken. I also heard that villages have a build limit. I have not confirmed either of these things though.
Great build. I’ve used mine many times. Unfortunately it broke on me once so I made it using granite then the platform glitched and I rebuilt it. Just today I came back and it was broken and laying across my village. Will the lightning break it?
I am sorry to hear that. Yeah its a lego fortnite problem with how they reload their chunks of data in an area again. Basically when you reach a certain distance and come back to your village it rebuilds it but doesn't do it properly and it all breaks. This happens lately with me spawning inside of a wall, or floor, or chest in a building. When they figure out an update for it the towers will work great.
Yeah I have been making a lot of stuff and the game is so glitchy. It seems every time the game loads a section it tries to rebuild and ends up destroying some items. It is not consistent for everyone and everything. Glad you liked it though
Yeah I was the same way when I was first designing it. Then I was building one and forgot the balloons and it broke the foundation. So I feel the pain.
Am I able to use large thrusters instead of small thrusters, because, the small ones take me way to long to get u Because I built to sky limit and I turned off stamina in my world
Yes you can. The reason for the small thrusters is really so you don't break the tires at the top which slow and stop the elevator. The large thrusters could potentially be tooo powerful. Maybe mix them with small thrusters to find a nice speed.
1 of 2 things could be the reason why. 1: The elevation you are at, like sea level, will be perfectly balanced and you need to add weights. 2: One of your Lego pieces on the elevator platform is connected to a railing and not giving proper separation. I hope this helps
I found them dumb initially but isolating parts and dropping them in has really grown on me, it feels like real building and I am a builder irl for the past 10 years

Without the tires it eventually could break it. One great thing about Lego Fortnite is materials heal themselves. If you stop hitting something for a little while and come back later it will be fully healed. My previous designs would have the top or bottom break until I added the tires as a buffer.
They weigh the same. Granite is the only block that has the 6 stud length. Wood is 8 studs. You can use wood Just make sure you leave the proper spacing
I have not had a glider glitch yet, but if it like stutters in the sky and you don't fly as far, it is because when you jump from a moving object it is probably trying to calculate too much and glitches out. With updates I hope a lot of things get fixed. Glad you enjoyed! Have fun!

Balloons fly based on elevation. If you are building say on a tall hill you may not need to add weights. If you were building by the water, like the beach, you will need to add weights. If you built this in the snow, you probably need to add an extra balloon so it slows down the fall.
No it does not. The lengths are different is all. Also after time the server not rebuild this correctly. You can also do this without the tower and just make the platform but make sure to weight it down first. I have not made a video for that. The principle is the same
Quick little tip: id build this outside your village you dont want it to close otherwise you may hit the build limit depending on how much you already have in your village and even if you dont you may in the future due to all this being there so i suggest doing it a outside a bit
Thank you for the incredible tutorial! I just have a question: We have our first village at 10 (grass) and just started our second village in the dessert. When or how will we unlock the 6x2x1 pieces of castle thin floor? Because we don't even have them as the wood version. I only have the 8x2x1 ones :/ Thank you and keep up with the good work
I am in the same place. I have a maxed out base in Grasslands but started a snow base. I don't have castle flooring yet. But this build does not need granite what it really requires is the proper spacing around the rails. It needs to be 1 stud distance from all sides around the rail. I have used the wooden floors to make this. I just like the granite look a lot better and it is the only brick that offers a 6 stud size that I can recall. I do hope they add more pieces because I love building Legos
Thank you for the reply! I just did it like that and everything worked well. But when I loaded the world later again, the tower stated to fall into my village and destroyed multiple buildings, my max upgraded work bench aswell... Do you know what could cause the elevator to fall to the side when loading the world?
Trust me my dude, I have had so many ideas I have stated on my stream and pointed out to others and next thing you know someone made a video of it already. All I can say is, great minds think alike and you are one of them! Thank you for the support
I didn't need any stairs to build the columns up. You have to be careful because you stand on the corner of the bock and jump up placing a block underneath yourself. You repeat this for as high as you want, but I suggest 160 high, if you have stamina turned on.
@@3dboomerYT yeah, flight stamina is actually dumb.. I understand it for running, but for gliding..nahh. It should be at least twice longer In my opinion...then could just build lift like this at the base and from the top reach both ice and desert bioms without any stops in the middle :)
@@ethenjordan2010 and then what, fall down ? duhh ? think a bit b4 suggesting me something ;) If I say need longer stamina, then thats how it is, not "build higher"..
Gliding uses up a stamina bar the longer you glide. He’s saying at the height he made it, you can glide to the ground without that bar hitting zero. If it did, you would fall out of the sky and die.
Yes I forgot there are more options in survival mode. I have my world set with all the hunger, stamina, and climate temperatures on. But if your world does not have a stamina bar, feel free to build this to your hearts contents to the heavens and soar across the map! That would be amazing. Kinda jealous I didn't turn off stamina..
Oh no. Thank you for sharing. I am curious why it doesn't work 100% of the time for some people. Probably just a patch that is needed for the game physics
You can still build it with 8x2x1 floors, or even larger pieces. But the 6x2x1 Floor is apart of the castle builds. I think they are in the snow biome. I still have to unlock the snow base to max level to tell you for sure
Double check and make sure that nothing is built too close and destroying the tires or the other toys. I hope this will fix it. There are a lot of patches we are waiting for Epic to fix for this game. but It will get batter over time. @@kareemclips6149

Good idea. Plus building them across the map to help cover large distances is good too.
Thank you for the incredible tutorial! I just have a question:
We have our first village at 10 (grass) and just started our second village in the dessert. When or how will we unlock the 6x2x1 pieces of castle thin floor? Because we don't even have them as the wood version. I only have the 8x2x1 ones :/
Thank you and keep up with the good work
I am in the same place.
Do you know what could cause the elevator to fall to the side when loading the world?
you have to max out dessert. i have all biomes maxed and got it after that
@@3dboomerYT i don't have these 6x2x1 floors, do you guys know how do i get that?
@@ethenjordan2010 ty bro
Bruh i was trying to do that in my world thinking i was the first to think about it😅 but i fail
Trust me my dude, I have had so many ideas I have stated on my stream and pointed out to others and next thing you know someone made a video of it already. All I can say is, great minds think alike and you are one of them! Thank you for the support
Is this only for creative? It seems to be a LOT of stairs the make the columns that high.
you build one, jump on top of it, jump while building the next one and repeat
I didn't need any stairs to build the columns up. You have to be careful because you stand on the corner of the bock and jump up placing a block underneath yourself. You repeat this for as high as you want, but I suggest 160 high, if you have stamina turned on.
I prefer steps :D :D since 1 tower wont be enough for a proper biom to biom travel..
True. Too bad It isn't like Zelda: Breath of the Wild where you can refill your stamina mid-flight by eating something.
@@3dboomerYT yeah, flight stamina is actually dumb.. I understand it for running, but for gliding..nahh. It should be at least twice longer In my opinion...then could just build lift like this at the base and from the top reach both ice and desert bioms without any stops in the middle :)
so, build higher?
@@ethenjordan2010 and then what, fall down ? duhh ? think a bit b4 suggesting me something ;) If I say need longer stamina, then thats how it is, not "build higher"..
i just wish it was in survival tho
You can build this in survival. You don't need Granite. I just like the way it fits and looks.
I am more interested in your comment “this is built to last you one stamina bar” what do you mean by that?
Gliding uses up a stamina bar the longer you glide. He’s saying at the height he made it, you can glide to the ground without that bar hitting zero. If it did, you would fall out of the sky and die.
Unless you play with no stamina then you need to watch your stamina bar when you use the glider otherwise you fall out the sky and die yes
I didn't need to add any weights on mine
You dont always need weights because of the elevation. The small wheels provide enough weigh to fall back down slowly. Sometimes very slowly
Didn't work just broke and really doesn't work well without castle thin floor
Oh no. Thank you for sharing. I am curious why it doesn't work 100% of the time for some people. Probably just a patch that is needed for the game physics
Instructions unclear. I built a 1:1 scale Taj Mahal.
Awesome! I don't have a model build like with lego instructions to give you, I am sorry. All I can say is practice in creative first.
@@3dboomerYT oh it was a joke the instructions were perfect and the elevator works flawless
@@Im.fr.HUNGRY Glad to hear it. Lol you got me. Have fun with the tower and Lego Fortnite!
Hi
Hello!
Actually, 601...
Awesome! I appreciate you so much!
There is no 6x2x1 thin floor piece in survival. I came all this way for nothing.
You can still build it with 8x2x1 floors, or even larger pieces. But the 6x2x1 Floor is apart of the castle builds. I think they are in the snow biome. I still have to unlock the snow base to max level to tell you for sure
There is. You need to be level 10 in dry valley first to unlock it.
@@3dboomerYT built it then when I joined the world after leaving it was stuck to the floor and glitched
Double check and make sure that nothing is built too close and destroying the tires or the other toys. I hope this will fix it. There are a lot of patches we are waiting for Epic to fix for this game. but It will get batter over time. @@kareemclips6149

I have always liked Boba Fett and Jango Fett. Definitely some of my favorite Star Wars Characters.
just use stairs
True you could. Just something about rockets that makes it a little more exciting
Lego fortnite is a waste of time lmao
True, anything that doesn't produce some kind of value is considered a waste of time. But as long as someone finds value in it, it must be worth some time.
Are you sure about that 🤨🤨🤨🧐
