Not just in scale but also the proportions of the tomy greninja are way way better compared to this. Aside from that only the paint job is the saving grace of this jazwares. Also the plamo greninja model kit is arguably the best articulated greninja aside from the stickers you have to apply
I like them and it’s a good idea. I am excited for the legendary birds and dogs. Greninja is pretty good for what it is. Articulation could definitely be better, feels gummy. The legs are a pain when posing without the stand. Oh oh last thing.. I wish his hands weren’t so flat. Great review!
He's a really good figure despite being a tad too big. As for the "? Of the Day" I think they're doing a decent job. Waaaay better than their Halo line.. And the D--Star/SHF lines are dead/Super pricey. I can't wait for my boy Blastoise.
Honestly the best Greninja figure I've found is the bandai model kit. The poseability of it is great, it comes with both a shuriken and a water blade, the only thing that it doesn't have unfortunately is a poseable tongue like this one. It's also better sized.
Very excited for Wave 2. This is a line I've wanted since... 1998 I guess. I can't wait to see who comes next. Hopefully they complete the groups, for example Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres
Actually, to the luck of some, at this month's Toy Fair London 2022, those who attended already told us that they had already seen Zapdos and the articulated Lucario from the select line.
Yeah, the scaling is a bit iffy. But do think they are nice looking figures. Considering their price, articulation and paint, I think it's a cool line.
There's also a model kit that is like 11cm at the top of his head (not counting the "ears"). It's very well articulated, it's solid, and has other accesories: 2 normal "hands", one grabbing hand to hold his sword, a shuriken, an alternate knee for better crouching poses, and a flat foot for more dynamic poses. It costs 10-15$. I highly recommend it. The only downsides: the elbows are single jointed with 90 degrees, and since it's a model kit you need to put some stickers. They look fine and not distracting but some are annoying to put. I always wanted a good Pokemon toyline with well articulated figures and this is the line that i've been waiting for. I cannot wait for more figures.
is that the plamo? How sturdy do those things feel? dont have any experience with model kits. I've been thinking about getting that one (along with Gardevoir, and Garchomp) because this greninja is just too damn big and looks wack.
@@thanksgivingh6185 Mine is quite solid. Nothing feels lose and it's fun to pose. You even get a white part thingy for more stable poses. The others are not for me. Gengar doesn't "look like Gengar" and Garchomp is fine but way too small for me
i feel on the jazwares figure the upper body is just a bit big, greninjas leg should be about the same length as the arm, but its way shorter, and the upper theigh should compare in size to the body, but the body is way bigger, and the head, is just MASSIVE, no need to explain there
Good action figure, would have been amazing if the joints weren't floppy. As for scaling Pokémon can technically be any size so I'm not bothered by that.
I never watched a single episode of Pokemon and I never played Super Smash Bros. so I don't want Pokemon action figures but this one seems OK, specially for the price point. Thanks for the review Anthony.
I, Got The Articuno, Besides The Charizard.. As Symbolic Of My Hundos In GO! But, Yes... Greninja, Too Big In Terms of scaling And Rayquaza, Will DEFINITELY Be TOO Small! If You Want Scaling.. Go With The Previous TOMY Figure Of Both Greninja, And Ash-Greninja, Respectively >;p
I considered buying this figure for my smash collection but it is too big. I went with plamo greninja figure that scales much better. The downside is you need to dedicate about 20 mins to build it, but is worth it I think.
The version of this figure I have is completely useless. He’s probably my biggest figure disappointment from last year. I feel like if I move anything past the knee, it might rip off
Greninja is 4'11" & Charizard is 5'7", so they made this figure huge comparatively.
maybe its a Alpha lol
Like another person said, the Tomy Greninja scales better, however it's not nearly as nice as this one and has no accessories

@@kumaxter3032 I probably should get Zapdos, as it is my choice of legendary bird in gen 1
Do more Pokemon Selects! Mewtwo, Tyranitar, and Suicune are the newest wave right now.
maybe mewtwo
Funny enough I just picked up him, World of Nintendo Diddy, and SHFiguarts Pac Man today for my Smash Collection.
Yeah, the scaling is a bit iffy. But do think they are nice looking figures. Considering their price, articulation and paint, I think it's a cool line.
this greninja and some jazwares figures are practically the 3d models of the video games and that makes the line much better.
Plamo greninja is the perfect scale

@@endertron3282 cool, thanks a lot for the info!
Think I'm gonna look for this
I love this line! I dont care about the scale and actually like that they are all the same size, they look great on a shelf.
10/10 from me for grinija is so cool
You should review the Kefla Sh Figuarts
with better price, close articulation, better accessories i think Bandai pokepla is more practical
i feel on the jazwares figure the upper body is just a bit big, greninjas leg should be about the same length as the arm, but its way shorter, and the upper theigh should compare in size to the body, but the body is way bigger, and the head, is just MASSIVE, no need to explain there

Tomy made 6 inch Incineroar figure do you think you might pick it up for your smash collection ?
For me personally, I'll take what I can get if it's for the Smash collection
I wish they scaled them better but the line is fine otherwise.
Another awesome video
I never watched a single episode of Pokemon and I never played Super Smash Bros. so I don't want Pokemon action figures but this one seems OK, specially for the price point.
Thanks for the review Anthony.
I have the Takara Tomy Greninja and it doesn't have as much articulation as this guy, but I believe it is slightly smaller.
I got the figure but some of the paint got chipped
the Tomy Greninja scales better

And Articuno might be the best of the three
Might look for this for my little brother
Pokemon doesn't scale the mon in games well anyway, so it doesn't matter much to me. Also can just imagine this is an alpha Greninja I guess.
Am I the only one who thinks the bead is huge
Leandro Ninja
The version of this figure I have is completely useless. He’s probably my biggest figure disappointment from last year.
I feel like if I move anything past the knee, it might rip off
😹😹😽
Ya they definitely need a new version this is a really bad articulated sculpt and look very off
why the fuck is he bigger than Charizard? Pass
They aren't too scale. Big ones world be too big and small ones would be too small.
