Pricing themselves out of the market. Even used harleys at the dealership are reduless. I have seen a big reduction of people at the rallys. I live in daytona and attendance is down. Been to sturgis the last 2 years and it's down. ecomony is a factor and affordability all add up. Keep up the good videos.
You know the answer to this would be that Harley-Davidson shrinks in size. The customer will lose EVERY TIME as long as HD is publicly traded with shareholders. HD Corporate doesn't care what the consumer wants as long as they continue to buy the merchandise. HD makes its money in the service department and through financing (HDFS).
What I like about bikes is, when wearing all the gear, warm weather shielded jacket & helmets now with flow-through ventilation is, at even around town speeds, it's like the A/C got flipped on! So you stay a bit cooler while riding.
What age and demographic can afford a $25,000-$32,000+ 2 wheel recreation vehicle that most can’t ride year-round? Then add insane maintenance costs. HD is aging out and they will be gone or much much smaller in 10 years. When was the last time you saw a group of riders in their 20’s on Harleys??
@@j24548 lol you do realize less than 3% of the population ride motorcycles at all?? People have been saying Harley is going under for as long as I can remember yet here they are
point #4: if American clothing / shoe / boot retailers could make more profit by having their products made in American then don’t you think they would? Levis and Harley jeans go for $44 to $55 and are made in Mexico. Any jeans that are actually made in the USA sell for around $120 to $150 a pair. Most of overpriced USA manufacturing cost can be directly attributed to Unions.
@@TheBadgers ideally yes…but as our politicians continue to grow recession and the cost of living by leaps and bounds its like you said…..the younger generations especially are struggling financially… so every penny counts.
The Champion that Harley is teamed up with is an athletic clothing company. It is not the spark plug company. They are 2 completely different companies! Federal-Mogul owns Champion Spark Plugs and Champion clothing is owned by Authentic Brands! LOL!

Yeah but don't they usually partner with a company their fans give a crap about? I can say this, not a single person I know cares a thing about Champion.
@@TheBadgers like you said, Harley seems to be struggling… so beggars can’t be choosers. Also, i’m sure other potential cross-brands are wary of HD’s recent woke experience and don’t want to get caught up in Harley’s fallout.
A couple of years ago Aerosmith was on some Harley shirts. What was that deal. Now insurance we have full coverage. My wife’s bike was hit in a hotel parking lot late at night. There was a witness and the guy who hit the bike was staying there. Anyway the police came ,took statements from both parties. The dude gave insurance card to cop which he gave to us. We called his insurance company and they said that they couldn’t get in touch with him so we would have to pay for the damage. Found out he has a couple of other fender benders. So I guess don’t answer your phone and you don’t have to pay.
I thought the same thing when I saw “Champion” felt like I was in KMart like wtf are they doing And the shirts that used to have Harley embroidered are now iron ons. Still 80.00 they are def heading in the wrong direction

Lol not my job to get the younger generation to buy their motorcycles that's theirs maybe if they weren't so lame and expensive they might get people to buy them, obviously the numbers speak for themselves. Yup I do enjoy playing my video games , I also enjoy riding my older motorcycles all over the country, what exactly is your point?
@@TheBadgersmy point is Sonny that the younger generations have all been raised for decades with heightened technology so its what they are expecting, even in their cars and motorcycles. Yep. Will still watch/support, but haven't been back in a HD dealership since before my debadging video. Go woke, go broke. Turn their back in traditional values and riders... blame us in an 'apology ' letter... no thanks. The freedom I've felt since boxing up all my HD stuff is unreal. Donated a lot...men's ministry. No more signage anywhere in my life... im free to just ride (my pre-woke 2007 Road King Custom) and enjoy. Personally, all I need is a speedo and a fuel tank guage is a nice extra... no need for anything else. I had 2 Ultras and 2 Limiteds... the M8 Limited was " spaceship tech" that still didn't add a thing to my pleasure. The nav on my phone going across country was 100x better than HD nav... no need for a radio, fairing, or anything in the fairing. Best of luck to how you go forward, sir. Really like your travel vids. I've saved some to a Playlist I keep for future cross country ride ideas. 👍

Here in Europe HD.are becoming ridiculously expensive, once the trumpet gets in he'll kill it totally
Right because he killed it last time he was in office, he wasn't in office the last 4 years guessing they went down in price??
Harley Davidson has used Champion Spark Plugs for years.
Still doesn't make me want to buy a shirt with both of them on it lol
