For anyone who underestimates Ians voice, (not knocking John) but it's an obvious example of the unique vocal aesthetic Ian brings to their sound that most singers brilliant or otherwise wouldn't
twenty one years ago seen john three times as solo ,,fair play still think he did very well ,,, loved the roses and the seahorses ,,,new stuff with Liam getting better with each listen ,,, keep on playing john and doing your Art one life and one love you have mastered them all
I guess it's like when Bernard Sumner sings Joy Division songs, or when Johnny Marr sings Smiths songs. Doesn't quite feel the same, but all good singers in their own right.
you prolly dont give a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the latest movies and series on Instaflixxer. Been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last few months =)
Interesting to see John Squire singing. It's not that bad considering he said he couldn't sing at all. Slightly off topic but also interesting how Ian Browns voice went as time went by. His vocals were quite spectacular on Garage Flower 1985. The Stone Roses album he's great with 5 or 7 takes, comped, no auto-tune which is normal studio practice. Now he gets slagged off all the time.
I could happily watch john squire play guitar all day, breathtaking
My therapist: john squire singing fools gold isn’t real it can’t hurt you.
John squire singing fools gold:
Sounds like a Matt berry impression
Your voice can sound like whatever when your guitar playing sounds like this!!!
Mad how John is never mentioned with the greats on guitar. Thanks for looking out for me on my 18th. That night will never be topped.

In my opinion, this is the best version of 'Fool's Gold'. It sounds as it this was the way it was intended when it was written.
An absolute great old mate Squire!!

Saw this line up on the next tour, were great, was gutted John stopped.
LEGEND.
Having a background guitar live helps this track
Guitar legend
Lo tuviste y lo perdiste amigo mío, en solitario eres una sombra del que fuiste a finales de los 80.

Is that Paul Banks from Shed Seven playing the other guitar?
From Interpol
No, Shed Seven.@@jonagport
George Vjestica. Who is also a legend!
え?富士ロックにスクワイア単体で出てたんですね^^ やば!
Not a fan of Squire Singing niormally,...But this really works, very nice. Great version
Would have been better with echo and delay on the vocals.
Peter green or John squire ?
Greeny! But squire is great 🤟
John squire and the stone roses are the reason why I started learning guitar so definitely John squire for me
Green all the way.....but I absolutely love John Squire....a master in his own right
They say ian cant sing ffs.
Just dont work without brownie
真的一点儿都不难听!所以solo专辑时的鱼刺卡嗓子vocal是发生了什么(。
イアンよりも歌はるかに上手いな(笑)
up to this point, I thought Ian Brown was the worse singer in the world.
Who were the band he put together?
fatzooma The Seahorses
@@teecee69 this isn’t the seahorses…. Was after that
@@crawfordburton9858 I never said it was, @fatzooma asked who was the band he put together and it was the Seahorses, the video is Squires solo
@@teecee69 agh fair…. Depends on the way u look at it
Jonathan White from Groove Armada on Bass, John Ellis on Keys, George Vjestica on guitar, Andy Treacey on drums.
Should have got a decent singer. His voice is terrible, guitar god but shite vocals.
He was emulating Ian Brown
This is not good. I’m sure he was offered some money to play this festival.
Think he sounds good best song ever written
