Yall need to have some kind of end game for 7 days. I love 7days so much. Its one of my favorite games of all time and has the potential of being one of the greatest games of all time but it still needs options after day 21. Doing the same routine over and over again gets boring really quickly.
They are expanding on the story soon its on the road map so they will be a end game eventually
The end game is in the title.
In the original lore ending, after following a clue in Navezgane General Hospital, the Cathedral, the Burial Grounds, or as a reward for completing Tier 5 at the traders, you are led to Red Mesa, which gives you a classified frequency and a clue to the next location. Clearing it out, you are led to Higashi Pharmaceutical or that one super-rich house, where you find a message as to who you need to contact. Clearing THAT out, you have to climb Dishong Tower, where you find the *transmitter*... but it's broken. Take it back to your camp and fix it, but if you haven't killed Duke (which is always since he wasn't and still isn't in the game yet), fixing it starts a permanent blood moon. Make it to the top of Dishong, transmit on the secret US Army frequency, send them the message letting them know there's a VIP alive in Navezgane... and they call in a nuclear strike on you, destroying Navezgane and ending the game.
See, the goal was never to rescue people. The goal was to keep news from getting out.
The ending of Seven Days To Die is: you die.
Yeah I hope they add factions and survivors like after a certain amount of days dukes soldiers show up and start doing runs through cities and riding you’re base and Also have faction rating system to where you can pay them off so they don’t raid you’re compound
I really like the idea of it going on forever, with loot respawn off on a 4K random map eventually there will be a point where the game will become almost impossible. I get people want a story and I do too but first and foremost for me is the gameplay with 7dtd there's nothing quite like it.

I have been toying with using some voice clips from neebs gaming to make a mod where they can be traders... But I would actually like them in a survivors camp that gives you quests and also has a traders.

you can only pick specific reinforced aka high hitpoint doors. (and as you've hinted at - the end of PoI loot boxes/safes)
all generic doors on a PoI can't be picked thanks to the braindead single path dungeon design (which people ignore and just smash through anyway)

I love and support The Fun Pimps, do not get me wrong. I understand that this is a co-op project mainly with a different company, but the fact that The Fun Pimps is releasing this trailer, that your guys's name is attached to another project showing your attention is not souly focused on 7 Days to Die after we've been there for over a decade supporting, playing every single Alpha etc. leaves me with an absolute knot in my stomach considering the state of the 1.0 release, and the lack of end game content. The game is far from finished, and the 1.0 update pretty much feels like another Alpha release, not a finished product. I appreciate the work and dedication you uys have put into 7D2D, but putting your name on something like this feels like an absolute kick in the nuts to all of us backers. Small company or not, I don't think I can morally support a development team like this any further after 13 years of wanting nothing but success for you guys. I'm disappointed.
I was kind of hoping to see one of the characters running in place as they floated up a ladder to the roof of the POI.

@@TheFunPimps For early access* 1.0 will be in 2035 and the game will be a decade behind in graphics again. My prediction: It's going to fail so badly they'll abandon it 1/4 way through, will make an announcement trying to win back their loyal players but the damage has already been done.
Will take one dev / pub to come along, emulate everything in 7days but with graphics from this century and it's game over.

this is going to be a pvp survial game similar to cod. but its being made by a diff team so not to worry, they are still working on 7 days to die full focus. there working on the bandits as we speak they were due to release multiple times but wasnt ready. they are working on them though.
im also not very interested in this game, but i will try it if its cheap or free. dont expect to like it though.
They're going for a Left 4 Dead Versus kind of thing, play as survivors and infected.

stop making a live action trailers if your game is going to be a cartoony cell shade, im so sick of cartoony games coming out, leave the cell shading to Borderlands. Ive been a huge fan of 7days ive racked up 1100 plus hours on PS4 and 400 on PC. please just make the game look like 7days to die but touched up.

It’s the fact that they’ve teased bandits for years, but it’s still not here. They’ve teased story mode, still not here. Sure say that story is coming “next year q4” then delay it. That’s exactly what you’ve did with bandits over the past 7 years. This game will die before story mode or bandits come into the game. The 2 main things we’ve wanted. The only thing keeping this game alive is the mods. Holy hell, i’m no game dev, but you’ve had over 10 years to finish 7dtd. You have one game TheFunPimps, that people care about. SO WORK ON IT. Nobody cares about the TCM, that game is dead, and it died a while ago. The lack of any shits given about 7dtd pisses me off. Their’s no heart. They only released 1.0 for a quick cash grab on console. This whole new game is shit and will probably have the same issues as the same game. Not to forget that mf it looks like a mod. I loved 7dtd, but I don’t know how you can defend this sorry a$$ dev studio. You had a good game, then you just became lazy and added jack sh!5 every update and still haven’t addressed the horrible performance this game has. Why on horde night i get like 14 frames? Waste Of Potential.

7 Days is a fun game overall, but charging people money for recycled assets and gameplay is a shitty move. This clearly should have been a mode of the base game, not a standalone release.
Also appears that critical comments are being erased, there's no way all the top voted stuff is positive with people praising this trailer. If you check the Steam comments it's full of valid criticism-- I guess Fun Pimps aren't able to censor there.
How about you optimise your previous game? Still runs like ass every patch.

Hopefully we don't have *massive* frame drops during hordes on this one... Performance on 7days is a joke once more than a handful of zombies spawn.
Especially on multiplayer. Basically unplayable once it gets challenging. So much lag and frames dipping into the 19 -25FPS range on a 3080... One of the worst performing games honestly. It cant handle any chaos (fun) at all. Only the easy POI's with just a few zombies will run well. Asking $45 for it is actually crazy. $29 tops. $15 on sale.
Kinda cool but why make another game when 7d2d is still nowhere near complete? You should have added this as an extra game mode for the game you've still not finished after 11+ years.

Yes, of course it's a cool new mode, but why couldn't it be added as a mode to the main game? That we now have 2 7dtd projects, which means that one of the projects will pour more content and developer time into itself and some will eventually go into oblivion. Okay, it will still be interesting to see the new project.

Did you see JaWoodles in game recreation of this trailer? He was able to survive the horde in a similar POI he found on a day 7000 horde. Very impressive.
