The harpies weren’t upset that Rimuru was serving them poultry. They’re birds of prey. Poultry is probably a staple of their diet. The girls were upset that Rimuru backed off from the question and made it awkward, because assuming that they’d have a problem with eating poultry is the same as equating them with poultry.
I’d like to point out that Marybell knows what wasabi was and knew that she didn’t want it. None of the natives should know what wasabi is or it they’d want it on their sushi.

While i agree about the teacher not knowing. Since only the one teacher at the school actually knew who he was during the OVA. However the kids should actually know he was a ruler of the forest. Since they were told it during the same episode we first met a certain fairy. Now I actually suspect they didn't realize he was such big deal until that moment and that's why they were so surprised.
I mostly go Filet Mignon, cooked medium. I simply use a bit of steak rub (bit of a combo of various things like garlic, onion, etc), sea salt, and pepper. I don't have access to an outdoor grill currently so I am using my air fryer's grill settings, done for 12 minutes, flipping only three times (One at 8 minutes left, another at 4, and another at 2). During the last four minutes I brush butter over the top and close the lid, flip the last time and apply more butter. That way it gets the perfect crust via the Maillard reaction. Let it rest properly, then slice it nice and thin. Sometimes I also add some specialty vinaigrette to it once sliced, the herbal types made for steaks. The family loves that stuff. Celtic Salt better than regular Sea Salt Lee? I haven't tried it, but I do sometimes use Himalayan. Also, funny how a Slime reaction turned into asking us how we cook our steaks. 😂
This is not a spoiler since they did mention this in a previous episode before the tournament they still have to do the theater performance and a show and tell with the research and technology department so we probably won't get the tournament for at least one to two more weeks
I don't know if ya'll missed it but Hiro & Towa from the Scarlet Bond movie was in the background a couple of times in that party. In the episode when valdora let his magic aura loose, they showed the kingdom of Raja which is where they are from.
The harpies can, at will, change their hands and feet between human-like and talons. Also, if a harpy grabs onto someone's head with their talon, it causes the target to lose control of their magic abilities. This confused me for a while because Nemu, the harpy from the Trinity in Tempest spin-off manga, will have human feet sometime and talons other times, so I checked the wiki. I don't recall the LN ever saying anything about it, though.
You’re forgetting all the schemes & plots and strategies Rimaru has come up with to trap people or get the better end of the deal. Plus the whole festival is a multi-layered scheme. Introducing himself, show of multiple forms of power, make connections, entice workers and tourists, letting other nations know the line in the sand and putting them on point.
two neat easter eggs were those 2 other harpies behind Frey those were 2 out of 3 of her Kids. also in that dinner scene in a far table you could see Hiiro Queen Towa from that movie
Thanks for letting us know about Queen Towa and Hero. I've been wondering if they'd show up during the festival. Especially since they teased it once already and of course there's the fact they're in the opening.
i don't think that first part is true, i recall frey having a sister, not kids, those are just subordinates as far as i know... on another note, when hinata shows up the guy in the background looks like one from the OVAs also. (visions of coleus) after the shuna speech you can also see the two princes and princess from that OVA at the sushi bar.
21:22 Monsters respect and follow power. Rimuru demonstrated his strength to the wolf pack and also the orges hence they ended up following him. Recall the Goblins did so immediatly from sensing his Aura in the first few episodes. It probably also helps that Rimuru just happens to be a geniune slime and wants the best for everyone around him.
I think Yuki was trying to stop the Hero party because otherwise it would look like he sent them as the Guildmaster to attack Tempest. He's under suspicion and wants to wait it out.
