I think my biggest problem is the repetitive animations for the melee. I love King Shark beating up and eating enemies. I’m sure there are cool takedowns, I just wish there was more emphasis on there melee combat. Still excited to explore and play through the story! The traversal is looking pretty cool!

@@SSJKDotsSanctum no I mean watch every time Harley swung her bat it was one animation, then same with Deadshot on the building. I think gunplay looks sick and traversal but coming from Rocksteady I’d just like to see a little more. Not a one button launcher, which is just the only thing they’d showed, hopefully there’s more! If that makes sense
Most likely takedowns will be micro transactions like marvel avengers with a few that can be unlocked for free.
Warner Brothers is happy to have your money and force ROCKSTEADY to make more always-online B.S.
Animations will always be repetitive it’s a game
I hope if they add Deathstroke they reference the Arkham Origins post credits scene

that wouldnt be a reference as he wasnt in the squad in knight meaning that that scene was retconned or he left

Origins was made by a different team. They don't even consider it part of the Arkham games

Since Batman being controlled by Braniac, i think it would be crazy if he starts mocking the jokers death to hurt Harley or something like that

This game takes place 5 years after Arkham Knight and 6 years after Joker's death. In that amount of time, I would hope that she would have realised that Joker was using her and didn't really love her

just because you double the size of the map from Arkham knight doesn't make the game better, don't do a Ubisoft, oh wait too late.

All yall had to do was make it melee focused with gunplay as an option. Then you can incorporate all the strengths of the characters you've chosen for the squad.
But instead I'm playing as captain boomerang with an SMG...sigh

What I would give - for a open world Superman game - with a feel good, tear-jerker story.
Rocksteady made Batman awesome in their games and i enjoyed their games . They made the best superhero games of all time .
I don’t have much hopes for this game . I wished they made a Superman or a Justice League game instead. I hope Corey Burton will voice Brainiac in this game.

Imagine in the final boss, Riddler's hat made King Shark invisible? I'd love to see that
my two worries about the game is the bosses and the traversal. I'm worried that the traversal won't be interactive and fun enough, and that the bosses of the game, the justice league, are going to be super nerfed for the suicide squad to fight them.
I really want this game to succeed. But the whole looter shooter structure paired with the battle pass stuff really killed most of the hype for me. May check it out if they put it on gamepass or something, but I wouldn't spend $70 on this.

I really hope the RPG elements for the guns aren't too intrusive to the gameplay. No game has been made better by including stats and rarities and levels, so as long as I don't have to engage with that and as long as I don't have to unload into the same enemy just to kill them, I think it'll be fun
There needs to be more features that makes players want to choose someone OTHER than Deadshot.
Also shoutout to Jack Hackett. He doesn't sugarcoat the game saying it's "perfect" and whatnot, rather what they have done and are trying to achieve.

I will make a prediction and say that Suicide Squad will not actually kill the "Justice League". Instead they will kill their clones or androids created by Brainiac. The actual Justice League are probably imprisoned on Brainiac's ship. Everyone except for Wonder Woman who was never captured.

I don't think so because in the trailer where before Batman made his debut, Captain Boomerang was talking with Flash and then during the talk, Boomerang sliced off Flash's finger and that was blood so if only that prediction actually happened

My biggest concern aside from the obvious is the story, more specificaly Batman.
This is the same Batman we have played for four games, we have seen his biggest adventures, relationships and emotions, I am concerned how they are gonna treat him after being the symbol of Rocksteady for years.
Cause there is a 50/50 chance of this being a great way to continue his story or...like a certain sequel from 2020
Batmans the only reason why I'm playing this. I'll be interested to see how he comes back, and how he joins the justice league considering they were never formed or mentioned previously

Yeah, Batman was successful not only because of the execution, but the character himself.
Suicide Squad doesn't have the same following.
Also from the original reel the graphics appear to have died down a bit.There was more durt more realistic color,that they switched for brighter tones.
There’s a reason they’re not showing him very much: They wanna save his moments for the release so we can say a final goodbye to Kevin Conroy’s Batman

At least the gameplay looks more fun and polished now but this looks like its a game that will charge for weapon skins

Gonna pass on this, the heavy online component and what appears to be a focus on generic looter shooter than focusing on gameplay that complements the characters actual abilities, plus having these characters use other characters abilities you might as well have made the game using those other characters.

This game looks like it's gonna make the exact mistakes Marvel's Avengers did, except it doesn't even have decent character movesets that lead to engaging combat.

It's funny seeing the comments go from negative in this one, to kinda negative in episode 2, to positive in episode 3
I see live service greed destroying what made a once great studio special. Giving assault rifles and flying abilities to Cap Boomerang and King Shark is an absolute travesty. RIP Rocksteady

They could have used Batman's plan to defeat the Justice League, and the game would have played just as well as if it was inspired by the first season of The Boys and James Gunn's Suicide Squad.

The game isn't even out yet. Save sharing your displeasure on a large scale until the finished product is out. If you already over it then you probs don't like the whole concept and Ur likely better off finding a dif game. Hearing the phrase "live service" is a bit concerning but it isn't enough to warrant hate. They've worked on this game for ages and they usually make gems let's just wait and see aye.

Why did all of the characters appearances change?? Deadshot, Harley and penguin they looked great in the Arkham games (except Deadshot so I’m fine with his appearance being changed)
They probably just explain it as not quite the same universe, as Batman isn't dead

We need new Batman game I don’t want be the villain I want be the dark knight.
This has potential but limiting every character in this game to a shooter playstyle really feels like miss potential. I get dead shot and boomerang playing like a shooter game but king shark and Harley should have more of a hand to hand brawler playstyle. It just feels like a bad decision to limit these four diverse characters to one style of play. I sense something of a batmobile style bad decision making strategy carrying over from their last batman game. Game looks good but going complete shooter I think will make this game fall short of great.
