Everything we do at Loving on Purpose has been birthed from our own journey of growing up in broken families and experiencing the incredible restoration of coming home to the Father. As we have served couples, families, and organizations, we have seen over and over that the root cause of division, dysfunction, and breakdown in people’s lives and society all begins in the home.
In this video, we share some of our own personal experiences with fatherlessness and family breakdown, our passion to see people come to know the Father, and our hope for the restoration of fathers and families.

I liked the way you both gave in sight to your earthly fathers which were very different experiences. Then, how Danny painted a picture through his words of our Heavenly Father where no one is left out. We all belong! I loved seeing you two share together!

I hope your next book talks about this topic in its fullness. People need to know what a father IS and what they are meant to do because it will help people be able to know what they can expect and desire from our Heavenly Father. This fatherlessness even causes issues in our relationship with God because we don’t know ever what to accept or expect from Him. So we go around grasping for pleasure as the goal of life, because we have lost the true purpose to life, which only the Heavenly Father can give us.
Thank you for this series Danny and Sheri! I love the “tool” of coming to the table of relationship...especially ones that are a challenge, with expectation for connection and the Fathers Peace. I expect that when our light and joy shines in a relationship that the enemy will finally realize he has no place there. Flood the enemy with Jesus’ love and light....guessing he still wants to avoid Jesus!
Where are the verses about a man isolating himself? It’s a translation I do not recognize.
Go find someone who would want to pour into your life. Sometimes that is hard to find. A person in pain is usually repellant to others. Orphan accidentally makes mistakes and doesn't know how to fix them or what mistake to fix. Good thing there is a God who will fill in the missing pieces when people do not know how to fill in gaps. Gotta invite the the only PERFECT father. Thank you Jesus for opening the door. Thank you Jesus for forgiving all who ask. Thank you Holy Spirit for coming to all who ask and are willing to follow.
