After the 2023 Snowshoe WCDH, at the local bar restaruant, I overheard one of the junior Mondraker riders describing how his DH bike's frame was too stiff - he wasn't that happy with it. After seeing this, I honestly believe they have a rider where the reported stiffness of their DH frame will be an asset, instead of a hindrance.....Man, can that guy ride! Ronan, Dak, and Ryan are going to be a powerhouse team in 2024....look out, folks.
Big strong guy so a stiff frame should work well for him. For a smaller/less aggressive but equally fast guy it could perhaps be a bit too stiff, getting beat up riding it or pinging of stuff. A lot can be compensated with wheels though.
I've ridden some of this with my mates, it's so dam steep in places, where the hell is he getting all the grip? It's wet muck and roots. Ronan is unreal fast
