It's certainly coming on and it looks as if Dominique is fully on her landing pad for dismantling.

Nice one, QM 👍 You've made a fairly boring construction project look vaguely interesting. It's amazing how perfect weather seems to follow you around! A crystal clear-ish day over Middlesex with views to every horizon - 4:10 Wembley Arch just right of, and beyond, Harrow-on-the-Hill.
Yeah, Dom is certainly resigned to his fate now. It will be interesting to see long it takes for him to be dismantled.
There seems to be plenty of traffic on the viaduct. I'm surprised Mayor Khan't hasn't had ULEZ cameras installed along there.
    Keep 'em coming ...

lol funny…yeah strange that..it’s always sunny up in the Colne Valley when I fly the drone…! As for Dominique I hope they’ve ordered the super large size ratchet set off Amazon to start the dismantling process…

Wonder what the point of the Copthall tunnel is? Maybe to dispose of tunnelling waste..
Another great video QM, could you cover the next section south - would like to see where that conveyor starts!

The conveyor starts at the Northolt West tunnel portal.
If the point of Copthall is to use up the spoil from the tunneling it seems rather an expensive option. Complete overkill, in my opinion. The original plan shows a simple cutting in that area. As someone pointed out, there are no buildings along the length of the tunnel that would be affected by potential noise issues but as trains emerge briefly from the concrete box before entering Northolt there are plenty. I think this is one example of HS2 thinking 'We have an almost bottomless pit of money at our disposal - what can we spend it on?'
Hence, the money for the Leeds and Manchester phases was swallowed and those parts of the line cancelled. A complete shambles basically.
