If they told him as a rookie that the only way he could play football was as an offensive lineman he would've taken a few months to put on about 30 or 40 pounds and then had a hall-of-fame career as either a tackle, center or guard.
How about the play when he jump over the field goal post, it was amazing. He jump so high, and caught the ball as he was flying through the center of the goal post... he landed in the third row, in the end zone. Watch that one, in slow motion,,,,,,,,,, 🤓🤓🤔
IMHO Gronk is the GOAT tight end. Great video...loved the play where Gronk is dragging the 2 Redskins for a ride. Have the privilege of living in New England and of being a Patriots fan my whole life. Gronk was so fun to watch...what a brute and athletic talent he was/is.
As great as he was, I still say we only really got one season of what he could have been. He was still a hall of famer after TJ Ward took out his knee. But he was the greatest tight end ever in 2011. Also a crime against football that they didn't go back to him for the 2pt conversion in 2015.
Honorable Mention: Throwing Colts DB and former Patriots player Sergio Brown "out the club" by blocking him off the field and into the cameramen as retaliation for smack talk leading up to the game.
I will remember the playoff game against Denver for ever. TB12 was going to Gronk at the end of the game on every play. They didnt care about how Denver was defending them. And it almost worked. Denver had noone to defend Gronk.
Indeed. And the Patriots lost to Denver by only 2 points.....and then Denver went to win the Superbowl. There were also a couple other games where Gronk and the Patriots barely lost in the playoffs to the eventual Superbowl winners. So even when they lose.....this just tells you how incredibly competitive Gronk and the Patriots were.
@@richardharris3423 The Patriots would have been in Foxborough for that game, but they lost to a very sorry Miami team in the last week of the season. Denver had the afternoon game against the Chargers. Denver wasn't planning on playing Peyton until Miami won.
The touchdown against the Colts should be #1 imho. Gronk's ball handling, shifting the ball from either arm to shield the ball from the defender, while also applying a stiff arm is absolute gold. Also with his footwork and tenacity, is an absolute master class. Pop Warner / Little Lad, and HS and college coaches should show this score to all of their players. This is how football should be played!
The best tight end without a question that I have ever seen play football I've been watching football for over 50 years Gronk! That's saying a lot I think for being a Miami Dolphin fan for over 50 years he is a beast nobody had an answer for him
Definitely the GOAT of tight ends. Whatever the reasons (genetics, hard work, etc.), amazing in all jobs at the spot. Someone please tell me if there was a tight end who can catch AND block as well as he did.
Football newbie here, why exactly isn't he called down at 0:26 ? I thought if a player touches the ground with anything other than feet or hands, he is down
Whoops, you missed that he had two touchdowns as a Buccaneer in the Super Bowl. I would think that one if not both of those were highlights of his career.
Rob Gronkowski did to the NFL what Shaq did to the NBA: he made grown men look like children. Gronk changed the way people tackled, and were forced to tackle dirty (TJ Ward), no other player in NFL history made defenses look stupid like Gronk did. Same tier as Calvin Johnson and Randy Moss. GOAT tight end.
There may NEVER be another Patriot team like the Brady years team. I'm STILL a Patriot fan but I don't watch the NFL anymore....colon Krappernits fault🤬
How do you takle that guy? You grab him instead of blindly throwing your body in his direction hoping you hit him. Defensive backs can't takle worth sh*t.
These are NOT the top 10 Gronk plays. You must be young . Because you might not have seen Gronk play in his first 2 seasons,,, you will not believe how strong this guy was,, and so elusive. No one could believe it until you see it. No one could tackle him, it was so funny funny, and he made catches, that tight ends are not suppose to make. These catches here, are after Gronk broke his forearm. And played with protective gear on his arm. Good video,,,
@@imanoldurango8213 You have that the complete opposite. Gronk was always hurt, Harrison and Wayne were never hurt. Not having Gronk in the Super Bowl against the Giants (2nd one) probably cost the Pats another victory.
Not only a great tight end as a receiver, he was a fantastic run blocker and pass blocker.
If they told him as a rookie that the only way he could play football was as an offensive lineman he would've taken a few months to put on about 30 or 40 pounds and then had a hall-of-fame career as either a tackle, center or guard.
@@jennyanydots2389agreed
Where’s the play he drags the Rams defender like 10 yards on the turf when he has Gronk by the leg. It’s sick
Its a preseason game but man that's awesome!
That was incredible
You could put up 50 more plays just like these. Rob G. GOAT. And I'm a Jets fan. (Sad all the time)
I was waiting for the same play. That should have been #1. Never seen anything like it.
How about the play when he jump over the field goal post, it was amazing. He jump so high, and caught the ball as he was flying through the center of the goal post... he landed in the third row, in the end zone. Watch that one, in slow motion,,,,,,,,,, 🤓🤓🤔
Against Pittsburgh, I love it when TB12 tells him “hey, it’s not over!”
It’s hard to stop two badass players working together, Brady and Gronk!
👍🏾
There's no answer for Rob. Just love the guy. There will never be another one like ',em.
There was. The defense will always hit him down low and take out his knees. That's why Gronk was injured a lot in his career.
In our middle school Kelce is our gronk
GRONK SMASH
He's the only player to have caught a pass in five Super Bowls
for the size of a train that he was, he was quite freakishly athletic and nimble even with the elbow brace and all those injuries. A true athlete.
Best ever.
Im so happy to have witnessed this dynamic duo play together ❤

and the "haymakers" at the end of SB 49, 😂
This should have been #1
OMG he's just as much a GOAT as Brady!!! Love him! Please come back to the Buccs one last time! 🙏🙏🙏
Giselle too much
As gronk said he couldn't drill the ball after a touchdown in college that why he drills the ball now
That KC playoff game should be #1. If got the 1st down and OT and then on to the SB.
Speed, Strength, Size, Dedication AND Hands!
So many great plays… thanks Gronk!
Great work on this. Thanks! 🇺🇸
Nice!....those Hamburger Helper Hands tho!...lol
The one against the Steelers when gronk points and laughs is priceless.

Beast
The 2 point convertion and him mocking the defender will always be Goated LMAO
GOAT TE, case closed!
They'll never be another gronk
No,he was one of a kind,a very talented and super strong Giant,
All around. A complete player
Legend. Could we borrow him for Springbok rugby ???
What a beast he was and is.
Nice presentation guys.
GOAT ON GOAT
I was hoping for the march of the wooden soldier he did in England. What a great personality!

#10 was my #1
I think my order is 10, 9, 8.. they’re all awesome.
3:09 - Brady to Gronk "Hey, it ain't over!"
We will never see a team like this on this decade
Those were the days my friend.. I'd thought they'd never end....
Excellent video but the elevator background music is distracting. I'm gonna subscribe. Don't make me regret it.
Gronk...an amazing player!! 😊
There was one where the big guy caught it off of his shoe tops. Showed his agility
nothing kills the vibe of the NFL like easy listenin' jazz in the background
Fun fact. That catch in the SB against the Rams lead to the one and ONLY play in the red zone for either team in that entire game!!!!!
Definitely the GOAT of tight ends. Whatever the reasons (genetics, hard work, etc.), amazing in all jobs at the spot. Someone please tell me if there was a tight end who can catch AND block as well as he did.
Double team the Gronk and he still beats your ass. This highlight reel only scratches the surface.
That Edelman block though.. 😤
The end zone catch on Urlacher during the snow game should have made this list. Pretty sure it was 2010.
The prototype Tight End for the ages. An insult to compare him to twinkle toes Kelce.
best tight end.
He's 6" taller and 100lbs heavier and still too quick for his coverage.
Bet Brady wishes he still had him.
Man I forgot Gronk was good…sorry, how great he was! Man he was something! Gotta be in the HOF.
Maximum Effort...
At the beginning of 9 I heard " no sex in the game for the bears?".
its true. they are virgins
Football newbie here, why exactly isn't he called down at 0:26 ? I thought if a player touches the ground with anything other than feet or hands, he is down
What he Gront did against Pittsburgh Steelers in that Fourth Quarter.
My favorite was the Miami Miracle
It sucks to have been
irrelevant for 20 years in your division..

How 'bout Julian "Iron Man" Edelman?.....before he goes to Tompa Bay!

It's spelled TAMPA.
Miracle in Miami is missing!
I could only handle the first 3 because of the loud background music
Watching the NFL is not as much fun without Brady and Gronk.
A few of the top 10 Gronk plays here, but not the top 10.
Freak athlete.. thank you 87
23 of the Redskins should be fired.
like watching football in an elevator
Giselle was still all-in for the Rams game, huh?
Whoops, you missed that he had two touchdowns as a Buccaneer in the Super Bowl. I would think that one if not both of those were highlights of his career.
Seeing these highlights is such a joke they even put Kelce in the same discussion. He was varsity playing freshman team

If only megatron had the opportunity to play for someone other than the lions :(
Run away truck
Tay Tay's boyfriend isn't in Gronkowski's league.
Too bad he only played 1/2 the season most years or the highlights would’ve been better
Best play was when he blocked his defender to the tunnel. Pure dominance. That's gronks #1 play for true football fans. Not this fantasy crap
There may NEVER be another Patriot team like the Brady years team. I'm STILL a Patriot fan but I don't watch the NFL anymore....colon Krappernits fault🤬
Such a waste when think about what could have been with both him and Hernandez on field at sane time.
How do you takle that guy? You grab him instead of blindly throwing your body in his direction hoping you hit him. Defensive backs can't takle worth sh*t.
This is how you win games Jerry Jones go get yourself a 270 pound TIght end

Agree. Catch on Urlacher in the snow game needs to be on this list.
Imagine if Peyton had a Gronk on his team for over a decade! The goat would have a different name, and that name would not be Brady.
I don’t know, Manning had Harrison and Wayne in Indy, and Thomas and Sanders in Denver
