  • Nick Agar, will in this episode show you how to sharpen a custom skew on the side of Tormek’s Diamond Wheel create a completely flat bevel. He is using the SVS-50 Multi Jig and sharpens on the DF-250 Diamond Wheel Fine with the MB-100 Multibase.

    I've seen the first side sharpened on the side of the tarmac but I can't find anyone doing the other side of the scooters on how do you change the angle

    I'm wondering... if you sharpen on the side of a diamond stone, how would you finish with the Japanese Water stone? I think using the side is not recommended, any thoughts as to why or how you'd hone.

    Do Diamond wheels ever wear out if they don't wear down. when do you know if they need replacing?

      Hej Paul, Diamond Wheels degenerade over the time too, they get just finer and finer. Important is that sharpening with Diamond Wheels is different to sharpening on stones. You don´t use any pressure or at least very little, then the lifespan will be much longer.
