- UK viewers might of seen the recent crowds at Durdle Door on the news, it is just around the corner from here, maybe two or three miles away. Here's a look at Durdle Door on a quiet day vimeo.com/173069687 No one was jumping from the top of the 70 foot arch [200 foot in the news] when I was there, See you in the queue for the car park.
Worbarrow Bay is located in the South of England, on the Dorset Coast. You take the Wareham to Swanage road, after a couple of miles, take a right turn and head for the middle of no where. Without a map or GPS you'll never find it, many never do.
This was filmed some time ago and at the time of uploading the video the local roads and car park are currently closed to the public. Access is normally possible most weekends and the whole of August when the Army are on holiday,
Looks we worth a visit, loved the dubby sounds
Thanks, you should!
very nice place there, just so mystic and peaceful and I love it! Thanks for sharing
It's very peaceful when the army aren't playing with their toys
Ein wunderschöner Teil von Dorset - wir lieben die Südküste - auch weiter Richtung Devon und Cornwall !! Greetings from Germany.
Does it tend to get busy during the summer periods? Was planning to visit on a weekday this summer
I don't think it ever gets that busy here, visiting on a weekday is usually only possible in August, due to the army using the area during the week
Always closed , risk of being shot most of the year, it’s a shame

@@MarkRigler Yes, it's in the gap between the cliffs of Flowers Barrow and Rounds Hill, i.e. between Worbarrow and Mupe Bays, as seen in your fine opening picture.
@@martinlee5604 Thanks for the info
