Transx dropper on mr E160s stopped working, about 18 months old, replaced it with a KS Lev 200mm dropper, fitted no worries, I run it all the way down, purchased from electric bike Rotorua, expensive but hopefully worth it in the long run😊
@@SaundyB I would run Goodyear newtons if I could get them… currently have x2 wheel sets made up, wets = Continental Argotals and drys = Maxxis DHF and DHR IIs 👍
Looks like a nice bike , the comment on 2w is interesting as they changed the format this year and you cant get back to change battery so for my ep8 makes it impossible to complete (6 stage) so i ended up using my ksl with extender and got 3rd lol .. they even checked my bike after to confirm no chip..im checking out the canyon strive or crestline with race motor..they look the nuts..
Cheers mate, yeah, I’m happy with it. Yeah the 2W has lost its way a bit in my opinion. I did the same thing back in the May 2022 round, I rode my Ransom with the 1125Wh and it was still a struggle to make the range, 9 stages (53km and 1700mtr elev)In fact I think I ran out halfway down the last stage. Both the canyon and crestline are nice looking rigs 🙌. The Race motor is totally recommended 🤙
Hi Tony, Great video, im about to buy the e-180 but im between sizes beacause im 1.89.... Based on your experience, would you size up or down in this bike? (L,XL)
Cheers 🤙. I’m 185 and on a large. Coming off a Scott Ransom (Large) the Whyte “felt” sorter than the numbers suggested. I was tempted to go a size up. The bike runs so stable I stayed with the large and was pleased as it turns amazingly. The only true way is try both obviously but I feel with your extra height I’d be jumping on a XL first up 🤙
Awesome review, how is battery range with the more powerful motor? Bike looks great, I had my eye on the one Lance reviewed a while back. Thanks for the awesome video 👍
Great video Tony, glad your loving the new ride, looking awesome
Cheers, thanks 👍
Nice one! Us old fellas need to get organized and get together as a big group and have a ball of the time!
Absolutely!!! Always keen 👍
Late to the party, great video Tony.
Cheers 🍻

Yeah mine came with the CrankBrothers dropper which seems to be really good, I did however change it out to a 200mm one 🤙
@@seniorsone5066 what tyres have you gone to, ?you were after something faster rolling

Charged up and ready to go for ya 👍
Nice work Tony! I’m also liking the latest Zeb

Cheers mate, doesn’t seem to use noticeably more. Im happy with the 750Wh battery, can get 40kms with 1300mtr elev and have about 20% left.
Bike looks good! where was that climbs you showed the guys going up?
Cheers. Trail was As you do 👍
@@seniorsone5066 really! I didn't recognize it 😂
😂
would be intresting to know what tyres you swapped out too?
Will probably run Continentals either Kryptotal or Argotal. I did run Goodyear Newtons on my last bike and did enjoy them until it got too muddy.
That guy. What a mess he made of that corner 😂
I got a e 180 rs v3 2022 you think i should upgrade or leave it
I’d stick with what you’ve got mate, they’re a good bike 👍.
@seniorsone5066 thanks brother
How tall are you I see your riding a Large
I am 173cm would I be more suited to a medium?
Hi, sorry for the slow reply. I’m 180cm. Personal preference really but I’d assume a medium is what you’d want. Cheers.
Awesome video mate! Definitely makes me want a Whyte even more now. Lol 👍🫶
