I've bitten my nails all my life. Since I was 2. I'm currently 18. I don't even do it cause I'm nervous anymore I just do it out of habit. It's almost like an addiction. And I use a fidget ring too. Help.
Midnite St0rm search up disturbing facts about nail-biting that helped me quit my habit and trust me i was a really bad nail bitter my nails were often bleeding and just overall gross, i also tried to keep my hands occupied so i would be distracted :). hope you grow out of it soon! x

I'll still put my fingers in my mouth and pretend to bite when I'm not paying attention because it's still a habit of mine to have my nails in my mouth.

Kawaii Kitten i used to bite my nails on a daily basis and often bit till the point where they bleed but after hearing that biting your nails can cause pinworms to spawn in you, i stopped and its been great i don't have to worry when people ask me to show them my nails :) i hope you can grow out of it soon. x.

I’m on my fourth day and what’s been keeping me going, is watching nail art, videos of others succeeding on their journey to stop nail biting and seeing the growth. Seeing that small growth in my nails makes me so happy! I’d suggest using garlic cloves for a faster process. It takes exactly a month to fully break a habit. Let me know if you guys would like an update from me each week

My sister's dentist gave this stuff (Malvala polish) to her so she would stop sucking her thumb and I put it on my nails too so she wouldn't have to take it alone and IT'S AWFUL! THE TASTE NEVER GOES AWAY!😝

Try putting a cheap nail polish over your nails cause once you scrap it off and bite your nails it will most likely taste really bad since it's cheap nail polish:)
You should know that you can get pinworms from biting your nails. Hopefully that will encourage you to not bite them.

Another factor is your surrounding. Many people who bite nails (like me) grew up with familymembers who also bite nails. So when i was younger, i thought it was normal, and it is now in 'my' system and i am not aware that i am doing it, so it is not that we do bite nails for our joy. (I am Dutch, so my English is not the best) 😂
