A hint to get your basic steps right. After 4 and 8 you change your direction, so you shouldn't put any weight on the foot to move next. You avoid that by not stepping on your heel. The steps becomes: step-step-step-toe, step-step-step-toe. And you can count: 1-2-3-tap, 5-6-7-tap In all moves you always tap on 4 and 8.
