I’ve already seen some videos of it built, and it’s unreal! Also, I’ve heard rumors that it’s insanely articulated, so my question is:
IS IT ARTICULATED AS THE RG G GUNDAM?
one review said that it's not. he said "It's close but not as crazy and it doesn't need to be"
No kit will ever be as articulated as the RG God Gundam
I don't think we will have kits as well articulated as the rg god. The God Gundam has a lot of martial arts associated with it, so it had extras to make it insanely articulated because of that. Also the actual design of the god Gundam gives it a lot more articulation. How many gunpla do you have where the inner frame moves a lot more than the actual full built gunpla because the armor prevents it from moving further?
Due to these 2 factors, I doubt we will see many kits as well articulated, only kits that come close.

My very first ever gundam kit was the old 1/144 Epyon back in 1999. I would love to see a side by side comparison with that one!

According to Gojira Fan, these codes could theoretically represent Ericht Samaya or Suletta, Gundam Lfrith and Permet Score (or Miorine’s Tomatoes)
If Gojira Fan is right about the colors, then personally, i think the first code (which is Orange) is supposed to maybe represent Prospera’s Orange suit in the Pilot episode
The Magenta/Pink one could maybe represent Lfrith or maybe even Guel’s Dilanza
As for the red, i’m thinking Guel’s Darilblade maybe

RG kits are the absolute best next to PGs. We need more RG kits and more RG reviews. There's mutiple that are missing on UA-cam.
Possibly a bit of a strange one request, but it looks like it has a Leo-style head that the Tallgeese has too. If possible, a quick look at Epyon with the Leo head would be cool
Pose the Epyon with the other two television, Gundam wing kits, like the Tallgeese and the Wing TV Gundam, also the other wing TV kits too if you have access to them. It’s nice to have so much Gundam wing kits in RG.

Epyon is awesome, he was my first favorite Gundam when I was introduced to the franchise as a kid. The kit looks awesome. I'm just a tad sad that my spot on the queue wasn't forward enough to get the first batch released, it made my September unbearable... and I made my reservation on April first thing since I saw it would be released.

C9805D- This is the code for Orange, which could represent Suletta
68D5C7- This is the code for a shade of magenta-ish pink that is Very Similar to Gundam Lfrith
E2D69C- this is the code for cadmium red. This could represent a lot of things.
Tomato, Gundam Splat, Permet colors, etc.
It's also pretty convenient that all 3 of these colors are very close to each other on the color spectrum
Orange, Magenta, and Red could also potentially represent a scene from WfM

i know i'm 1 day late but i got it from gundam base 2 days ago i just never got around to watching this. all this is just leading up to the fact that beating mecha to a gunpla is absolute bliss
How's the wire, as stable as the MG version and capable of having the RG hold a sword pose for years?
What are the aesthetic/design differences between this and the MG?
How does the old RG Wing Zero Custom look compared to this? Notable detail sharpness differences?
How much do the sticker decals stand out on the red plastic?
Does this kit contain brittle plastics? I'm seeing some glossy runners and thin/flimsy parts.
I'd maybe structure more around the design differences than the mechanics. Besides the sword weighing down the arm the only question is how well the wings hold up.

It's been ages since i have watched your channel. From the days of TypeV3 and Jobbythehong's gunpla reviews. Last time i watched was the first few months when you started categorizing gunpla tiers.

Tbh I really like how they reduce or totally remove ABS runners for main inner frame. It makes your Gunpla (post RG Unicorn and Pre Crossbone releases) sturdier but in return for stiffer joints that don't age well and hard to work when removing/cleaning ABS parts on the runner.
My fingers are in so much pain, my nipper became dull and I consumed more blades for my hobby knife when working with ABS runners.
How 'bout your insights on this topic?

Epyon, the 2nd best Zechs MS. Tallgeese variants are still my favorite. How solid will the transformation be? Will it be a hand grenade, or be as solid as the rg 35 Wing Gundam? Also, after a quick look over, I believe the HG00 Union Flag will be a great candidate as an Armored Core style kitbash build.
You know, if you have one, it might be interesting just to see a comparison to the old NG/HGFA Epyon as well

Id like to know how much time you spent working on the kit. 2 hours, 8 hours, etc. How long to build, how much time it takes to do all the pad lining, stickers/decals, touch ups etc

I have a bit of an odd request. I want to see if it has RG limb interchangeability. With the last 3 RG kits at least. For example I know for a fact that the RG's 3,5,7,8,9,10,11, 19, and 20, all have some interchangeable joints.

When you do the comparison parts, can you include the comparison with the wing gundam? if its bigger than the RG wing gundam, compare it with other big RG kits (ex: Hi Nu, Nu, Sazabi, Gaogaigar). You could also include size comparisons with MG kits as well. Thank you!

Hey I was wondering if you could give us a bit of a backstory behind the epyon gundam(how it was made, what's it based on, ect.)
I'm not sure Mecha can give you the 'real' answer, mostly because Wing lore is split across remakes/redesigns and different media that came out in non-chronological order.
Very basically put, it's a super-weapon equivalent mobile suit that is designed with honorable combat in mind, which is why it's melee only.
The creation of it is kind of glossed over, because it's made by a pseudo-antagonist who was put under house arrest in a mansion that had a mobile suit factory under it, who is not just a tactical and political genius but apparently also designs mobile suits in his spare time, while also having access to the ZERO system on Earth despite it being a Colony project.
He had access to the Tallgeese's tech (basically a super testbed prototype Gundam), but I'm not sure why he'd have access to information about the Wing Zero (also known as proto-zero later on) or the ZERO system.
Wing is complicated while also being a 'romantic' show mixed with 90's unironic edgy anime. It's kind of, sort of, not meant to be taken seriously, you're just supposed to go with it.
I'm interested to see how it stacks up compared to its master grade, will it be like the Nu ver ka compared to the RG Nu ? Will it be massively better or about the same.
And where do people usually get waterslides from ? I typically only see third party ones but I'm curious if there's a place to easily get Bandai ones

I just built the mg Epyon, and I’m dying to do the RG. So I can have both transformations.
Are you a bit scared to move any of the parts more than a few times? Feel like that should be pointed out with more sets in case people get ones with not so good qc issues with joints and such. Maybe updates as to how things hold up. An example is RG Full Psycho-Frame Unicorn Gundam (mine at least) the left connector piece that looks like an L with a few holes for the body and shoulder just broke in one of the holes, then fast forward a bit, another piece showed stress marks and has since developed a crack, i can't really pose it anymore so now it sits in its box unfortunately because it's so cool. My RG Zepharanthes has held up better though I'm still careful. So far my HG Heavyarms, HG Ariel, and RX-78-2 building experience vers. and MG Barbatos are the only ones that are fine. Ariel and Barbatos are out of box and in nice poses while the other two are back in box. Lovely content by the way^^ your review on MG Barbatos is the main reason i got him^^ plus im looking to get the expansion set for his other forms^^

I found an older version of the epiyon in the trash at least a decade ago. I think it was master grade size but it was really fragile and wouldn’t stay together to save its life. I mostly assembled it but I didn’t know what it was a so I kind of combined it with parts from a tail geese that came in same box.

The MG version is EW. This RG version is more towards the TV design. The torso white bezel is different on both, as well as other sections. But this confirms TV design for me. Will be getting this later on.
I hope that in the full review you do some size comparisons with the other Gundam Wing RGs. Definitely want to see how this compares with Wing Zero and the EW versions.
Do you think the RG is worth buying more than the MG when both are similarly priced?
Mobile suits I never had interest in, all of a sudden shooting to the top of my want list as RG. Wing Gundam, epyon, impulse Gundam, sword impulse, call me crazy for not being a huge fans of these designs. I have bought just about every one of their RG kits. RG is absolutely where it’s at
You never showed the RG Exclusive Bird Mode of the Wing TV, and it looks like Epyon has an extremely similar RG Exclusive transformation, so maybe you could show them both off in the review?
