Hello ladies! I'm glad you returned to Nightwish at the end of the year!
This video contains recordings from the 2022 - 2023 world tour promoting their latest album, "Human :||: Nature" (2020), and "Tribal" is part of this album. And as you well noted, towards the end of this tour Floor was pregnant, and about 2 months ago she became a mother for the second time.

Floor is VERY down-to-earth and live her life in dual personas. The Wolf and the dog. The Wolf is her stage persona and the dog is her at home persona. I saw them live this summer in Stockholm when she was heavily pregnant, but she rocked, headbanged and sang beautifully. This song sounded just as perfect when I saw them. They never disappoint LIVE - It's really an experience and so fun. She gave birth to the second little girl (Lucy) in October.
As well, Floor returned to the stage to do one of her solo shows(with an appearance by her sister Irene) on Dec 8.

We can all agree that Floor lives to perform in front of a crowd, it is her passion!
She's a very resilient person and a good example of "NEVER QUIT!"
Her band After Forever wasn't exactly smooth sailing. After forming ReVamp in 2009, she experienced a burnout in 2011 that took her completely away from everything to the point she had absolutely no desire to pursue anything that had to do with music.
The call from Nightwish in 2012 opened the door for her to find her confidence, self love, and a new appreciation for the fans.
In 2020 we experienced a pandemic that basically stopped the world.
In 2021 she had to have emergency surgery to have her gallbladder removed due to an impressive number of large gall stones that woke her up one morning in tremendous pain while in Finland rehearsing for the virtual show.
3 weeks later, she performed the song "Euphoria" from her home to represent her country of Netherlands in the Dutch TV Show "Beste Zangers" for their International competition.
Amd 2 weeks after that, she would perform 2 shows with Nightwish in the virtual show "An Evening With Nightwish at the Islander's Arms" on May 28 & 29.
In October 2022, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After surgery to remove the tumor and after some tests, at the end of January 2023 she was given a clean bill of health.
The following week, she was back onstage.
At the end of August, a very pregnant Floor suffered a collapse from exhaustion after the last show of the tour with Nightwish.
She expressed her disappointment to her fans as she typed a letter on her fan club and UA-cam channel letting them know she was forced to cancel her last 2 shows of her solo tour out of concern for the baby and mentioned that despite the collapse, baby was doing well.
After about a month of welcoming their new baby girl "Lucy" into the world, Floor's back onstage entertaining her fans.

Nothing beats Nightwish going wild out in the wild...
Their fanbase outside the US is a lot bigger, so the venues are much larger and include many outdoor venues at metal festivals (which we don't seem to have here😥). I live in Utah and saw them for the first time in Denver in May of 2022. It was a small indoor venue. No fireworks. No pyrotechnics. Just stage lights and smoke machines. It didn't matter. They were the show and they delivered as they always do. It was amazing. Whether performing for hundreds or tens of thousands, they appreciate their fans wherever they are and do their best to leave it all on the stage every time.
I actually like that. Small venues force it to be more about the band interacting with the fans and vice-versa as opposed to them being seperated by great distances and not really interacting. The large stage shows are great with the pyro and all, but I do prefer the smaller shows. This was one of the original gripes, apparently, w/ Tarja and Tuomas. Tarja didn't want to do the "little" shows any longer and Tuomas did... As with many of the other public conficts, I'd agree with Tuomas and fully understand why it mattered so much to him. Those small shows are 100% about the fans and Tuomas, lucky for us, is a musician that feeds off that as opposed to being annoyed by it. Something tells me that if there were 3 people in the audience and they were out of their minds with excitement, that would sufice for Tuomas and he would put on one helluva show for those 3 people!
I was at the Denver 2022 show and I didn't miss the fancy pyrotechnics. I was so much closer to the band without paying thru the nose. Plus they were awesome despite the crowd being small.
I was just gonna comment on this. Here in Europe they always do big bombastic shows with all the production you can think of.
I saw them in Amsterdam in -22 and it was better than I could’ve ever imagined.
But when I see the videos from the smaller venues, especially from those stealth shows that they always do before tours, I get jealous. The shows are so much more intimate and that makes their music so much more alive. And to see them so close must be magical.
I’ve seen videos were there isn’t even a barrier between the crowd and the band. Look for a video of the song Edema Ruh.
I found out a couple of years ago that Nightwish brought the big stage 2015 tour show to the Heavy Montreal outdoor metal festival on the Islands in the river near downtown. It is the big annual summer festival that people on the south side of the river complain about the loud noise for the 2-3 days it runs. I think there are a few metal festivals in North America, but not mainstream. I was not a big metal fan, so did not realize they were at a nearby festival and it would be worth going to see them.
Did see them in a smaller 2300 person Montreal venue in 2022. It was intimate. The band and the music was great even without all the big show pyro, screens and massive light show.
Who needs coffee when all you need is to blast this song on full. And Floor and baby are doing well, as of 2 months ago
As someone who doesn't drink coffee, I would say this is an absolute win 😊
3:53 😂 Floor is actually pretty mellow and quite funny out stage, she leaves the ferocity, thigh high boots and leather outfits for their concerts lol you can even see it on the interview she did with her hubby
As babies dad is a drummer she ( Lucy) was doing the double kick drum 😂
This is one of my favorite Nightwish songs, ever, and the most powerful. The lyrics, ‘suffering loves faith loves suffering, smile to elders like a good doll…’, are so poignant and relevant to the world today, and speak volumes of humanity’s inhumanity to itself and the planet as a whole.
Really nice that they included the familiar "skeleton dance" from the lyric video in this live video!
I remember watching that lyric video and that dance came up in it. It was a great experience and that part of the video went viral. Many tried to learn that dance! 😂
She did perform with princess Lucy in her belly and I heard she said, she also did with Freya as well and the movement of both of them to her was very therapeutic. Future rock queens on the horizon!🌹🌹

Welcome back ladies. Yes I went to a live concert in Gelsinkirchen Germany on 12th July this year and yes Floor was already 5 months pregnant but it did not stop her one bit. Great experience it was ❤❤❤

Christmas is already over but still you could watch her sing Oi Jouluyö (O holy night in Finnish) at Raskasta Joulua (Heavy Christmas) 2016 during her first pregnancy. It's mindblowing...

Not to downplay the physical stress a woman experiences just being pregnant, but Floor is a strong argument for keeping yourself fit - and being extremely fit - going into pregnancy. I think Floor's physical fitness is surely demonstrated by the fact that her pregnancy closely followed the successful treatment, in😢cluding surgery, from her breast cancer and the fact that she returned to the stage less than 2 months later

Thank you ladies! First I wasn´t big friend of this song - but now I loved it! From this video I have to pleasure to visit the forestry/lakery-venue of Nightwish in Kitee (Finland) during June 2023. I think Floor´s pregnancy was already in sixth month during that time. That was the second latest show on their world tour, because after their Vaasa (also Finland) show on the next day, Floor´s health wasn´t good anymore. I´ve seen Nightwish maybe three times live during last three decades and it´s always been great pleasure. I started listen them 28 years ago - yes, I´m middle-ager now... If you get the change in future see this band live, you should take it. Fans LOVE them, energy is high, and they love their fans.
Floor finally collapsed backstage during the tour so they had to cancel it. But she have given birth to a healthy girl who has been to many rock concerts before she was born.

The show next to the lake is the bands. Hometown of Kittee Finland. The section surrounded by 4 walls was an old church in Estonia turned into a concert venue. Thise are the 2 recognizable

The venue at the beginning and later in the video with fireworks is Kitee, the band's home town in beautiful Finland. I flew over from the Scottish Highlands to see both the Kitee and Vaasa show's, sadly, their last for a wee while, and both were absolutely tremendous. The band were on fire and Floor, wow, she was phenomenal, reaching notes a woman that heavily pregnant had no right to do so, sadly, she collapsed after the Vassa show and was taken to hospital. Fortunately, after an examination she and the baby were both given a clean bill of health but our Valkyrie Queen had given her all on this tour and needed a good rest and so the final gig, a festival in Oslo was subsequently cancelled. Floor gave birth several week's later to another girl whom Floor and her husband Hannes called, Lucy. Nice reaction ladies, more Nightwish, more Floor and please check out Auri, that's a band featuring Tuomas, his wife Johanna and Troy.

I visited some NW Shows and much of Floors Solo Shows since 2022. Believe me, her pregnancy didnt make a great difference for her singing .... and Floor said after giving birth to lucy .... her voice is better as ever ... i was at her Solo Show in Amsterdam at December 8th ..... she absolutly said the truth ....
