Totally agree with you on Bantamweight being overrated. People say that BW is the most skilled division, but completely ignore that MERAB is the champion. There are middleweights and light heavyweights who have better striking than him. The reason why BW gets praised for its skill is because of the fights that Petr Yan, Sandhagen, T.J. Dillashaw and Aljo had with each other. Two of those guys are gone now, and Sandhagen is regressing by becoming increasingly boxing-heavy. The only fighters that get me excited in BW are Yan and Umar. Also Sean O'Malley is a fake star that was forced onto us fans by the UFC and I'm glad Merab beat him.
155 is overrated…the ranked portion has been the same for yrs & the prospects always look good but get derailed (rebecki lost to a 39 yr old),orolbai & turner got derailed,fiziev got derailed,benny & bsd got derailed,dawson got slept by green…its a fun division but even if arman wins which would make it more interesting it’ll just be more rematches between him islam & charles until somebody new can make it into the top 5
Ive never seen absolute bias against a division like this. Bantamweight literally had an entirely different scoring criteria than every other division🤡 merab gets under this dudes skin do much you had to recreate your grading scale in order to shit on bantamweight☠️

You used what you believe bantamweight will look in the next year or two while in many other divisions you literally did the exact opposite and judged by the fights we have seen. You literally said while talking about bantamweight that you were judging the future of bantamweight because currently it would be different. You knew you were using a different criteria in order to get bantamweight to a lower ranking. It's simply unrespectable.
I think middleweight and welterweight are the best divisions. In the welterweight division, the unranked section is a bit weak. But there are new fighters coming into the title picture. But if Islam beats Arman, Title fights losses all the hype. No one would be excited if Islam face Charles or Hooker again. The lack of new threats to the champ doesn't make it feel like the best division
