I might also add that any state that issues a driver's license to an illegal alien should not be allowed to participate in any Federal elections.

Meanwhile it has come to light that illegals are receiving a packet telling them all the benefits they can receive on the tax payer dime, and along with that, a voter registration with only an opt out clause if they don't wish to vote. A law was also passed through congress that makes it impossible to charge illegals with a crime for voting if they believe they were citizens at the time. I would guess that they are going to believe they are if our government sent them a voter registration. This information comes from a recent Tucker Carlson report. Look it up.

Yes but this bill will require proof of citizenship to determine voter eligibility on a federal level and close the driver license loophole in 19 states.

It's already illegal for non-citizens to vote in federal elections. Many states allow them to vote in local elections, but that's not what this bill is about. This bill is redundant.

@@AdamFrancisco Plus, though it has probably never happened, any alien legal or not who votes in any federal, state, or local election in violation of law is subject to deportation. No criminal conviction of the alien voting is needed in order to deport the alien.
