Yea we were so solid in first 14 ,15 games of this season,we didn't concede any set piece goal we actually scored every other game from it and now like they forgot everything.And it's not every day birthday we can't get away it non stop like we did aganist Bournemoth,Villa twice,Fulham,United.At some point our luck needed to run out and it did in last 3 games.

I’ve had my doubts about Ramsdale all season. Good keeper, there’s a lot to appreciate about him BUT there are things that give me doubt too. He gets beat at his near post way too often. I question some of the goals he lets in. Can be flappy at times. And his concentration levels are questionable too!!

I’m not calling you out. I just want to get out my thoughts atm after this game. Here goes…
We def look heading to bottling this league unfortunately, it would be a bottling for sure from the position we were in. But at the same time, I know some ppl will hate hearing this, but this team is still mostly young with no title winning experience. So we shouldn’t be overly harsh on these players. How many teams win the league in their first ever title race? It takes longer to win a title more often than not. Yes we might have been near perfect for the majority of the season, but the last 10 games is another animal. So while the team should rightfully be criticized for likely bottling it, we also need to understand this is a first time experience for most of these players and so this is a natural learning curve. The fact that we even got into a title race until this late in the season has to be applauded considering our expectations at the start of the season.
It’s one thing to bottle the league having bottled multiple title races, bottling it in your first attempt is another. I’m not saying these players should be free of any criticism, but we need to be aware of where they really are as a team at this moment in time.
You make some great points there, it's just mentally we built our hopes up we would win it this year.
@@CurtisShawTV Definitely Big C, I’m gutted as well. Though throughout the season, I was never able to say with chest we’re winning this league because I was uncertain we could maintain our momentum long enough.
It’s looking like my fears will be confirmed unfortunately. But at the same time, I’m thankful to this team for giving me a season I didn’t expect to have, and while I rly hate likely bottling it, considering most of these boys haven’t been in this situation before, it was never going to be that easy in their first ever title race. Also this team has shown incredible progress this season to give me the belief, which I never had since I started supporting Arsenal, that this team could eventually challenge at the top like its predecessors a while back. That alone makes this season so valuable for me.

I believe after the Liverpool game and the westham game they conceded the management have wondered around and blown smoke up the players arses telling them how good they have been how well they have done to get so far that they are well ahead of schedule that they have made champions league and they have been successful whether they win the title or not, and that's it. All belief has gone! nobody in this club from the owners to the management to the players are pushing to win the title now. They gave up and its a real shame
And don't forget about that 8/10 January transfer window ffs, we were top by 8 points and we bring in Jorginho and Kiwior smfh, somebody has to be held accountable but never will and that's NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!

After the January window closed we STILL, at one stage, had an EIGHT POINT lead on City. I didn't hear people talking about the transfer window then. Also, as poor as Rob Holding is at the elite level, he played no part WHATSOEVER in the two goals conceded at Anfield or the London Stadium, nor was he at fault for ANY of the 3 Southampton goals today!

And, I remember tweeting that said "If Arsenal didn't win the league this season, this will be the most embarrassing moment ever for them". And, after this match, I can't believe that the chance is wide open to get embarrassed. Of course, I didn't support Arsenal or City. They are young and still learning to play together in the new system.. I’ve seen nothing but progress… we have to accept some setbacks it’s going to happen!!!!!
