I'm in my late thirties. If you're of a similar age, this should be of absolutely no surprise. Arsenal have been faltering when it matters for 20 years-it's baked into our DNA at this point. Curtis - Watched the Leverkusen highlights after this SHAMBOLIC performance. Their fans invaded the pitch 3 times, and players could barely see in front of them because of the smoke from flares being lit in celebration. Meanwhile, we are getting "our bellies tickled " (as you would say) on our HOME GROUND. Tbf, trossard wing would have worked had the midfield been balanced. What can trossard do alone when you put havertz in midfield and that hype merchant as left back. You are essentially sacrificing the left side.
Havertz upfront provided a balance to the team because we played a double pivot system.
Trossard was absolutely not the issue. For me i think he was playing really well(apart from missing that sitter). What the heck martinelli did when he came on? F all. As soon as we substituted trossard we lost all our attacking threat and villa took the grip of the game

Havertz doesn’t work playing in midfield. He works better as a false nine. We tried this earlier in the season and got no where so why the hell did Arteta revert back to it today.
